Muppets Christmas Carol, because it has everything; snow, carols, laughter, tears, dancing muppets, and most importantly of all, the spirit of Christmas Xmas Smile

lalalauren416 · 06/12/2017 16:23

Love Actually, watching it on Now TV right now!

popsocks · 06/12/2017 16:43

It has to be The Polar Express.
We all love the film in our house.

happydays80 · 06/12/2017 18:32

Home alone 2 because its Christmassy and my kids laugh so much watching it.

ZoSanDesu · 06/12/2017 18:38

We would watch A Christmas Carol for the first time as FIL is playing Ebenezer in a children's musical this Christmas, purely to introduce DSx2 to Charles Dickens!

That1950sMum · 06/12/2017 18:40

White Christmas for me. Love the singing and its a proper old fashioned movie to put me in the festive mood!

Beach11 · 06/12/2017 22:27

Hidden Figures

emmmaaa26 · 06/12/2017 22:36

Trading Places - Classic

happysouls · 07/12/2017 09:18

Love Actually is my top film from the list. The difficult and sad situations characters find themselves in is so very real and yet the film manages to be magical, uplifting and festive too!

SuzCG · 07/12/2017 09:29

Frozen for us - still remember the first time we watched it at the cinema & we took Nanna & Grandad with us. Every single person, regardless of age LOVED this film!

angiehoggett · 07/12/2017 09:49

Love Actually - I love this , such a feel good British film

lovemyflipflops · 07/12/2017 10:16

I love Gremlins because it has a bit of everything, humour, sadness, bravery, and romance, and the bit where the stair lift shoots through the roof has us in hysterics.

VilootShesCute · 07/12/2017 10:23

Guardians of the galaxy 2. Reason:Chris Pratt. Nuff said.

Butteredparsn1ps · 07/12/2017 14:38

As we're only allowed one choice I'm going to have to go with It's A Wonderful Life. Compulsory Christmas viewing. Xmas Smile

HalfPintPixie · 07/12/2017 15:27

It's a toss up for me between The Nightmare Before Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street.

I've loved both since I was young, so I suppose it just depends whether I'm in the mood for fun or heartwarming!

MESSING2 · 07/12/2017 16:11

Muppets and It's a Wonderful Life, for all the reasons others have given.
Trading Places is great, though not a family film. Dan Ackroyd's drunk Santa on a bus is outstanding.

amelia4levi · 07/12/2017 19:53

Hanhan28 · 07/12/2017 21:29

rachaelsit · 07/12/2017 22:15

The nightmare before Christmas - nostalgia

littledinaco · 07/12/2017 22:30

Home alone 2 - the kids think it’s so funny and they can’t believe we used to watch it when we were younger.

neonpink · 07/12/2017 22:30
