The Christmas period is a great opportunity to spread joy - whether through kind actions, the giving and receiving of gifts, or just spending quality time with loved ones. In light of #Cadvent this year, Cadbury would like to hear about what you’d wish for this Christmas.

Here’s what Cadbury have to say about Cadvent: “This year, Cadbury will be spreading extra Christmas magic throughout the whole festive season by making Cadvent wishes come true in the lead up to the big day. Wishes will be granted up and down the country as Cadbury countdown to Christmas with the best advent calendar yet. Is it snow that you wish for this year, or is it the ultimate Christmas tree? Or perhaps delicious Cadbury chocolate for all your family and friends! Take a peek through the calendar doors to see the wishes granted so far.

So, whether you’d wish for a shiny new piece of technology, you have a creative idea to give back to your community or loved ones, or you’d just like to have all of your family together, share this below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

My greatest wish is good health for all of my family and friends Sad It makes me sad that it's unachievable. As much as I hate being ill myself and the house can't cope if I slack a bit it's worse watching someone that you love suffering and not being able to make them better

Since returning from holiday last night to find my home entirely devastated by a flood, I just wish that myself and my daughter are warm and safe and that in time, we will salvage something from it all pending the lengthy insurance reconstruction etc.
Currently taking refuge in my parents spare room. Thankful of that.
Be safe and happy everyone

I'd love to take out friends away for the weekend. They work so hard and get such little respite despite some fairly debilitating medical issues (him) and an emotionally fraught job as a TA in a SEN school (her). It would be great to take them away to somewhere wintry and magical like Budapest for a weekend in the ice, to experience the hot spring baths and drink lots of mulled cider at the Christmas markets.

I wish for a peaceful, happy, healthy Christmas, to end an awful year. Oh and that the kids all behave themselves on Christmas Day (it'll be the only day of the year so far)

Just to have my newborn daughter here happy and healthy due in this world on 18th December, the same due date her older brother had who was born and died prematurely last year in August after years of infertility and IVF. No presents, no tree, just am alive baby.

I'd wish for a magic wand to heal my friend and nan who are both poorly. As a selfish gift, I would love a crate full of chocolate please!

asuwere · 01/12/2017 13:31

I wish for peace - in a general world peace way but also just an hour of peace with no niggling jobs distracting me!

MakeTeaNotWar · 01/12/2017 13:54

I wish DH would put aside his issues with my mother so my parents - who don't live in the UK - could come visit us for Xmas and spend time with their grandchildren

Thesmallthings · 01/12/2017 14:25

To see my fiance. He's been away since June and was supposed to fly in today for 2 weeks but that's been cancelled.

Ethier that or to find my Christmas cheer.. It's completely gone.

MargoLovebutter · 01/12/2017 14:35

Large planting troughs for my town garden. It is so bleak at the moment and I'd really like to make it look good.

I volunteer at Crisis at Christmas every year, I enjoy what I do and the people I meet but wish so very much that such a service was no longer needed, it's appalling that people and so many of them, are homeless in such a rich country in this fab and age

bevbird · 01/12/2017 17:51

I would love to cuddle up with some chocolate on the sofa watching TV

To be with my family on the other side of the world

mummymummums · 01/12/2017 21:54

I'm wishing that my Dad has a good day on Christmas Day. He's got very advanced dementia and is largely immobile, but sometimes he has good days. We're all going to the home for Christmas lunch, so just hoping he understands it's Christmas and enjoys the day.

MrsFrTedCrilly · 01/12/2017 22:10

I’m wishing that a family I know will have a positive outcome from their little ones chemotherapy and counting my blessings that my children are healthy.

Cadensofia1 · 01/12/2017 23:05
