The Christmas period is a great opportunity to spread joy - whether through kind actions, the giving and receiving of gifts, or just spending quality time with loved ones. In light of #Cadvent this year, Cadbury would like to hear about what you’d wish for this Christmas.

Here’s what Cadbury have to say about Cadvent: “This year, Cadbury will be spreading extra Christmas magic throughout the whole festive season by making Cadvent wishes come true in the lead up to the big day. Wishes will be granted up and down the country as Cadbury countdown to Christmas with the best advent calendar yet. Is it snow that you wish for this year, or is it the ultimate Christmas tree? Or perhaps delicious Cadbury chocolate for all your family and friends! Take a peek through the calendar doors to see the wishes granted so far.

So, whether you’d wish for a shiny new piece of technology, you have a creative idea to give back to your community or loved ones, or you’d just like to have all of your family together, share this below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

I'd wish for better health from my mum - she had an accident a couple of years ago and has never been the same. It has such a knock on effect on mental health and everything else in her life.

jelliebelly · 29/11/2017 17:33

I'd wish for good health for my family and stable futures for my children

ButterflyOfFreedom · 29/11/2017 17:55

On a personal level I just want my family to get together and have a happy stress free time.

On a wider & out of my control level I wish Brexit wouldn't happen, Trump would go away, and the world was a little less 'crazy'!!

thatslow · 29/11/2017 18:10

As much as I love family time, I would really just like some time with my partner. Just to be an adult that doesn't need to remember to pack the baby things, or get them ready in the morning, or stop start the day because they need feeding or changing and actually have a conversation that isn't interrupted.

For the first time in 2 years we are making the 4 hour journey to Liverpool with severly disabled DS8, DS10 and DD6.
DS8 has had a terrible 2 years medically and been in hospital loads.
When we go to Liverpool even when he's well we usually end up in Alder Hey with seizures ( we think it's the travelling)
This year we would all like to visit family for the first time in 2 years, event, illness and seizure free!!! Pretty please...that would be an awesome Christmas for a while extended family !!!
Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!

If we are going for fantasy here, I'd love to lift all the poor out of poverty. I'd also like for all nukes to disappear and never be made again. And of course world peace.
On a lighter note, I'd love to have a white Christmas! Xmas Grin

Gazelda · 29/11/2017 19:17

I wish that my step brother would come over for a visit (he lives in Asia and hasn't been home for a few years). It would make my mum's year.

foxessocks · 29/11/2017 19:20

I would wish for a happy peaceful Christmas for all

Oogle · 29/11/2017 19:25

I wish my MILs cancer would fuck off. This is probably her last Christmas.

So...as the above isn't possible, I have arranged for the whole family to be together Christmas Day. I wish for lots of laughter, lots of love shared, lots of silly photos, lots of snow(!) & above all, lots of wonderful memories.

PutYourBracesTogether · 29/11/2017 19:53

I'd wish for a cash windfall so I could stop panicking over how skint I am.

MycatsaPirate · 29/11/2017 20:00

I wish that there would be an end to the poverty people are living in. We also had a foodbank Christmas four years ago.

Personally I'd like enough money to open a wildlife and cat rescue centre.

NauticalDisaster · 29/11/2017 20:02

I was left with huge debt after my divorce (my ex was smart, all our debt was in my sole name), so I would wish for that to be cleared away so I can rebuild for me and my DC.

We're lucky though, we're healthy, we live in a good area with an outstanding school, our family is incredibly supportive, and we know what's important. The debt will be gone one day and our lives will be better but my ex will still be a sorry excuse for a father and partner.

Tigger83 · 29/11/2017 20:09

I've had such a mixed year but it's ended with all my dreams coming true, start of the year was fantastic with my boyfriend proposing to me, we then had a tough time with 2 miscarriages but am now 25 weeks pregnant so I feel so lucky.

If I could have anything it'd be a new telly and blue ray player for my fiancé as he's been such a fantastic support for me during the hardest times. We always snuggle up on the sofa watching Christmas films at this time of year so would be fantastic to do it watching his dream tv with a Sonos sound bar (which I can't afford to get him saving for a baby and a wedding!)

ClashCityRocker · 29/11/2017 20:19

I wish I could help my mam more. She has fibro, cfs and COPD. I know she gets depressed thinking the best part of her life is over and she has little to look forward to for her own sake rather than living vicariously through us kids.

I'd like to give her times that in years to come she can look back and think 'yeah, that was a wonderful day'.

CecilyBlue · 29/11/2017 20:42

I would wish for lots and lots of snow ⛄️

Pipsqueak11 · 29/11/2017 20:48

Not very Christmassy but I want something BAD to happen to Trump . He scares the shit out of me and I genuinely think he presents a risk to world peace and safety

StealthPolarBear · 29/11/2017 20:50

Sorry to lower the tone but I wish Cadbury would go back to tasting how it did in th cc olden days and they'd bring back the caramel in the waxy/foil wrapper

AWholeLottaRosie · 29/11/2017 20:56

My lovely dad has dementia so I want to make the most of this Christmas for his sake. My wish is that he has a 'good' day where he realises what day it is and who everyone is, and that he can enjoy tucking into a nice meal without getting frustrated and upset with himself.

HerSymphonyAndSong · 29/11/2017 21:24

My 20 week scan is a few days before Christmas. The best Christmas present would be for all to be well with the baby.

Havetohaveanewchufffingaccount · 29/11/2017 22:15

There is a family who I support in my job role, I wish that she and her two children have a happy Christmas with no stress and the children feel loved. 🎄It's likely that this will be her last one with her children and I blame her mother and lack of intervention when she was younger.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 29/11/2017 22:22

My Christmas wish is to give our little girl the same whoosh of Christmas magic I remember from my own childhood.

That indescribable combination of anticipation, excitement, love and wonder which becomes a lifelong memory.

goose1964 · 29/11/2017 22:47

I would like the family to be all together but the nearest we'll get is Skype

Easylikeasonntagmorgan · 29/11/2017 22:50

I would wish for happiness for my family and friends. And a big lottery win 😀

VilootShesCute · 29/11/2017 23:15

I wish every day that I still had my daughter with me.

honeyandginger48 · 29/11/2017 23:15

I’d wish for a time machine to revisit Christmasses from my childhood - board games, watching the Wizard of Oz on telly and dipping into a HUGE tin of Quality Street that would last for weeks!
