The Christmas period is a great opportunity to spread joy - whether through kind actions, the giving and receiving of gifts, or just spending quality time with loved ones. In light of #Cadvent this year, Cadbury would like to hear about what you’d wish for this Christmas.

Here’s what Cadbury have to say about Cadvent: “This year, Cadbury will be spreading extra Christmas magic throughout the whole festive season by making Cadvent wishes come true in the lead up to the big day. Wishes will be granted up and down the country as Cadbury countdown to Christmas with the best advent calendar yet. Is it snow that you wish for this year, or is it the ultimate Christmas tree? Or perhaps delicious Cadbury chocolate for all your family and friends! Take a peek through the calendar doors to see the wishes granted so far.

So, whether you’d wish for a shiny new piece of technology, you have a creative idea to give back to your community or loved ones, or you’d just like to have all of your family together, share this below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

We are so lucky & have so much. I wish I could send love & warmth & Christmas cheer to everyone who needs it.

I wish that DC2 would sleep in his own bed more regularly, I love his cuddles and his hair stroking and I'd love a few full nights sleep.

I wish DC1 would go into school without crying.

I'd also wish for some gin and yummy chocolate to get me through the evenings after dealing the above. And to have more time for running!

I would love for us all to live together as a family again instead of my other half living away for work

alshaz1982 · 10/12/2017 22:34

we were very close to losing my mother in law back in October, but luckily she pulled through and is well and truely on the road to recovery... i would most like this year to get them a shower as both her and my father in law struggle with the bath now.. i know it isn't an exciting gadget or similar, BUT it would make a massive difference to two very special people. x

I was going to wish for snow but we have had enough today! I would like to wish that everyone has a peaceful and stress-free Christmas x

Of material items, I'd like earrings.

Fosterquestions · 11/12/2017 01:08

Wish for all my friends from around the country to meet for a lovely special Christmas Eve

upthehammers · 11/12/2017 01:12

Right now I'd wish for the cupboards, fridge and freezer to be full up with food rather than the depressing emptiness that's currently 'filling' them!

JayJay1874 · 11/12/2017 02:17

Well, the only thing we are wishing for is the safe arrival of our baby boy who is 4 days over due. We've not had much time to think about getting too christmassy like decorating or anything. Someone to put up a tree and a few decorations would be good.

diddiebiddie · 11/12/2017 02:19

I wish I could wave a magic wand and all our building work would be finished and we could have our Christmas lunch in our new kitchen.

frenchmonkeys · 11/12/2017 02:28

My wife's father has just had surgery to remove two tumours; after 8 1/2 hours surgery, it all appears to have gone well and three days later he is making a spectacular recovery. My wish is that he is sufficiently healthy to be home by the 25th and spend Christmas with his wife who misses him dearly.

lastkisstoo · 11/12/2017 02:46

My biggest wish would be for my daughter and her family to move back nearer home as I miss them all every day and my grandbabies are growing up so fast. #Cadvent

lottiegirl · 11/12/2017 03:06

i wish for the builders to hurry up and finish the extension so i can have my home back and enjoy my new kitchen

Blahblahblueblee · 11/12/2017 05:13

On a physical level I’d love a new winter hat. But really I’d love all my family to be together and happy this Christmas, but after a loss this year I think it will be a very sad one.

DaisyDando · 11/12/2017 05:34

I wish for a lot of chocolate 🍫 and for the felt tip pen marks to be removed from my kitchen wall.

sootyo · 11/12/2017 06:46

I wish for a new pair of comfy slippers

I wish to have the family all together as they are spread all around the world including Australia

piggypoo · 11/12/2017 08:29

A new laptop, so I could speak to my relatives in the USA, and for all of us to spend Xmas together!

007hel · 11/12/2017 08:36

My wish just came true, I wanted enough snow for my ds to build a snowman ⛄️ and it’s here Xmas Wink he hasn’t seen snow like this since he was 1 and doesn’t remember it at all ... so pleased to see him yesterday playing in the snow ❄️

Tonkatol · 11/12/2017 08:49

My wish for Christmas would be to provide every homeless person (& their canine companion, where applicable) with a bed for a few nights and hot meals in a safe, welcoming environment. At the same time, I wish for there to be volunteers on hand to help the homeless complete forms to potentially organise jobs & shelter.

jazzitup · 11/12/2017 08:50

Heal family rifts, they won't be around forever.

JBH316 · 11/12/2017 08:57

Loved ones to be happy and healthy is a given. That aside, I would love snow! I'm usually a bit bah humbug about the festive season unless it snows and then I magically transform into Mrs Christmas!
