The Christmas period is a great opportunity to spread joy - whether through kind actions, the giving and receiving of gifts, or just spending quality time with loved ones. In light of #Cadvent this year, Cadbury would like to hear about what you’d wish for this Christmas.

Here’s what Cadbury have to say about Cadvent: “This year, Cadbury will be spreading extra Christmas magic throughout the whole festive season by making Cadvent wishes come true in the lead up to the big day. Wishes will be granted up and down the country as Cadbury countdown to Christmas with the best advent calendar yet. Is it snow that you wish for this year, or is it the ultimate Christmas tree? Or perhaps delicious Cadbury chocolate for all your family and friends! Take a peek through the calendar doors to see the wishes granted so far.

So, whether you’d wish for a shiny new piece of technology, you have a creative idea to give back to your community or loved ones, or you’d just like to have all of your family together, share this below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

My mum was given 8 months to live in November. She has pancreatic cancer. What makes it harder is she already has HD so this will agrevate the cancer and realistically give her much less time. Of course this year we will try to make it the best one ever for her. With 4 children under 30 and 6 grandchildren under 6 with another on the way it’s going to be a crazy busy one. We would defiantly use the winnings to make it extra special and be able to afford the extra trimmings we might not be able to

For financial stability
More time as a family
Less anxiety

wannabestressfree · 09/12/2017 07:55

I love to take the family away to somewhere wintery and just spend quality time together.

doleritedinosaur · 09/12/2017 07:58

I had hoped to pay off my overdraft by Christmas so can be one step closer to saving for our dream house & be secure.

I’m almost halfway there but wish I was closer.

But I’m happy that we’re all healthy & spending Christmas together.

my hubby's family have all fallen out! There's nothing like having a parent in hospital to cause differing opinions and either bring you all together or tear you all apart, so I'd like to all be friends again, especially over the Christmas season seeing as now we have to plan our visits so that they avoid each other!

cwalliss82 · 09/12/2017 09:15

My wish would be to be debt-free. Past mistakes have lead to years of paying off debts and I can't wait for the money that I earn to be all mine and not mostly paid to credit companies. The extra money in our pocket every month will make a massive difference.

My wish is to not have to work at Christmas, as I have done the last few years! Unfortunately it isn't coming true as I'm working a 14 hour night shift finishing 8am Christmas morning. Luckily I have a husband who is prepared to drive 2.5 hours on Christmas morning to get to my parents who are going to make my daughters Christmas magical by entertaining them while I nod off over a glass of Baileys! Oh and I get to not have to cook christmas dinner, winner winner!!

Elizasmum02 · 09/12/2017 10:38

mclarkie · 09/12/2017 13:09

I'm wishing for a white Christmas

Rigbyroo · 09/12/2017 16:11

I wish I could be closer to family this Christmas. Feeling very isolated and far away.

strawberrisc · 09/12/2017 16:55

I wish that the weather won't be too cold for too long with all the homeless people that are STILL on our streets in 2017.

sparky771177 · 09/12/2017 17:36

I whish all my family would speak again to everyone.

GetSchwifty · 09/12/2017 17:41

I would like a special day with my eldest child. I had my second this year and don’t feel like I’ve had much quality time with him as I’m so busy with the baby.

wintertime94 · 09/12/2017 17:59

my family to all be happy.

yorkie18 · 09/12/2017 18:13

I would love to have a big enough house for both my husband and I to have all of our families together. It would be amazing!

InvisibleKittenAttack · 09/12/2017 18:22

For snow.

And for DH to be less stressed at work, fretting now about trying to "get the decks cleared" before the festive shut down, so he can actually enjoy Christmas build up.

emmamcmahon · 09/12/2017 19:32

My Husband had a Severe Brain Injury 6 years ago and lost his memory, along with the ability to lay down near memory paths. I’d love for him to be able to remember this Christmas- memories of little ones being small are soooooo important.

StandUnderMyUmbrella · 09/12/2017 19:40

My mom does enjoy to cook the christmas dinner so i would wish for everything supplied to her to make that happen so she doesnt have to worry about the costs xx

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 09/12/2017 20:23

I would wish for DD to get the A level results she needs to get on the Uni course she wants.

She's wanted to be a paramedic since she was 10 and would be brilliant at it but she has struggled a bit with anxiety over the last year and lacks confidence.

To get those results would be the making of her.

buckley1983 · 09/12/2017 20:33

Goodness.. what a generous bunch - I expected to see lots of wishes for ipads, new phones, etc - but instead, it's all about wishing for peace, for quality time together & doing what you can for others. Wow :)
I second the posts re: food banks - I work for a charity & regularly support clients to access food banks & they really do make a huge difference to so many people :)
My personal wish - aside from peace, joy, health & happiness to all.. is for a magic watch just to stop time every now & again so I have the time to do all the things I need to do, plus all the extra jobs I haven't quite got round to doing & grab a cheeky kip now & again!
Merry Christmas all :) x

melmoo · 09/12/2017 23:19

I've got family comming from Australia for Christmas, plus my sister and her mob. All this means loads of people including 4 teanagers that haven't met in years all packed into our small house. I just want everybody (paticularly the teenagers) to get on.

fivekidsonemum · 09/12/2017 23:25

Id wish for a professional camera so I could start taking my photography as a career, with 5 young kids it's always a pipe dream that will never happen when all my money goes on them, Like most mums I feel guilty buying a 99p magazine never mind a expensive camera ! and I'm really passionate about making a career out of my creativeness to better our lives for the future. Xmas Smile

Helsbells68 · 10/12/2017 07:58

If it were possible I would wish for good health for my son but will settle for a new washing machine
