Luvabella would love to hear how your baby, toddler or pre schooler surprised you with their love for you! We all know this age can be tricky with sleepless nights, the "terrible twos", but that small people are also amazing at surprising you with a display of pure love. How does your LO surprise you with love - is it when you’re feeling low and they know just what to say, when they crack the biggest smile just for you, when they go to nursery and plant a big kiss on your cheek to say goodbye or when a special picture is created which you have to display on the fridge?

The team at Luvabella say “Discover so many real baby surprises with Luvabella! From the moment she opens her eyes and giggles, Luvabella will amaze you with her true-to-life facial expressions and personality! She moves, talks and plays just like a real baby. Through touch and play she affectionately responds to your love. Cover her eyes for a game of peek-a-boo, tickle her tummy and toes to make her giggle, or place a hand on her chest to gently listen to her heartbeat. You can even hold her feet to hear her say “mumma” and begin to babble! The more you play with her, the more she’ll talk. Her babble will transform into over 100 clear words and phrases! Caring for Luvabella is fun with her four interactive accessories! Use her spoon to feed her and she’ll chew with delight! If she’s not full, she may ask you for more. After her meal, help Luvabella learn new animal names and sounds with her Lamby toy! If she gets fussy, all she needs is her soother. When it’s time to go to bed after a big day of play, lull her to sleep with her bottle. Get to know all of Luvabella’s real baby surprises! 4 x C batteries required (not included). For ages 4 years and over.”

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where TWO winners will get - not only a £150 Argos voucher but also their very own Luvabella doll (a blond one) - worth £100.

Thanks and good luck

My two and a half year old who doesn't speak many words said 'I lobe you mummy' followed by a big kiss and cuddle. (it might have been because he wanted 'sweets') but I'll take it

SlurplePurple · 01/11/2017 18:49

My almost 8mo old ds shows me he loves me by smiling and giggling at me from 4am every morning.

sweetdiversion1 · 01/11/2017 19:16

A few weeks ago I was talking 5 year old DD2 to school and I asked her to go on the inside. She asked why and I told her it was to keep her safe in case there was an accident. Her reply actually shocked me to the core as she replied "But if you get hurt or die then I'll jump in front of car so I can go to heaven with you cos I'll miss you too much.' Wee pet actually left me speechless albeit it was a bit morbid.

BoBoBatty · 01/11/2017 19:47

Weird thread title... I don't think many parents would be happy about having their child referred to as 'it'.

GodIsDead · 01/11/2017 20:10

My 9 month old son will smile at me and when I smile back he will grab my face and give me open mouth kisses. Even though I end up covered in slobber, it’s the sweetest thing because I know he loves me and is learning to be affectionate. 💞

Dormouse1940 · 01/11/2017 20:25

My toddler has not yet said 'I love you, mummy'.

But he'll come up and put his arms round me, give me a big squeeze and declare it a 'lovely cuddle!'. He also likes to clamber up on my lap, get tucked in a soft blanket for a 'snuggle', whilst playing with my hair. It's very special.

He also looks me dead in the eye when we're playing sometimes and with a big smile say 'we're playing nicely together mummy!'

He's great :)

I've been looking after my 6 year old granddaughter, whilst my daughter recovers from a major operation, so I've been picking lo up for school, she kisses me in the playground and waves till she can't see me no more, then when I pick her up she runs to me and I swing her round and she plants a massive kiss on me and hugs me tight

rhinosuze · 01/11/2017 20:48

I think the fact she follows me to the toilet shows how much she loves me!

My 3 and 5 year old are both very cuddly
I'm very fortunate they always tell me they love me and give kisses. Through the day and always before bed. ❤❤

Mozarmstrong · 01/11/2017 21:35

My daughter would lay as close to me as possible even if I wasn't very well tell me she loved me and curl her fingers through my hair.

Thistly · 01/11/2017 22:10

Aaa ah, some really cute stories on this thread!
My toddler recently started givin unprompted kisses and cuddles to his great grandma who we care for. I realise he is copying me, and I find this utterly gorgeous, that I can demonstrate to him how we show love, and that he knows what it is all about already.

Pmliu · 01/11/2017 23:28

My little 4 ŷear & 2 year says to me every morning & night 'I love you so much' and they give me lots of hugs and cuddles, also my 1 year old calls out mama then gives me lots of long hugs.

sbruin1122 · 01/11/2017 23:34

random hugs all day everyday!

OhOurBilly · 01/11/2017 23:50

The big gummy toothy grins with mischief flashing across his face when he gives me a love and then grabs whatever it is nearby that he also wants to mess with. The face smooshes which aren't quite kisses yet as he's too small (11 months ). When he wakes me up tapping smacking my face and the joy on his face when I open my eyes and say "morning buggerlugs!"

SQuashandasqueeze76 · 02/11/2017 04:22

The way my daughters face lights up, runs to me and squeezes me so hard whenever we have been apart. It makes me feel so loved.

witherwings · 02/11/2017 07:05

We have a bedtime routine where we always say I love you and sometimes we try to tell each other how much we love them. It starts with 'I love you to the moon and back'... 'I love you to the stars and back'... 'I love you a thousand times round the world and back'. My youngest DD to me; 'I love you a hundred times around the world and all the way to the stars', my husband got 'daddy, i love you to the lamppost'

Hairq · 02/11/2017 07:35

I was really ill over half term and Halloween and couldn't do anything at all with DS apart from a wobbly 20 minutes if trick or treating. I felt so guilty for parenting from bed for a week and apologised to him for not having been able to do anything with him. He gave me a big hug and said "I don't mind - you're my mum and I love you. You're still the best mum when you can't do things with me"

Zippyzulu · 02/11/2017 09:05

My dd has a ‘love’ off before bed every night where we all say ‘I love you more than...’ in turns before she goes to sleep. She always ends it with ‘I love you more than chip pie’ with a huge grin on her face. We don’t really know what chip pie is but it’s clearly something she’s really enjoyed!

misskatamari · 02/11/2017 09:26

My daughters first I love you was “I love you daddy” 😍 followed by “ice cream” 😂

Thankfully now I get quite a lot of unprompted “I love you”’s and plenty of cuddles 😊

katslo4 · 02/11/2017 10:32

My little boy is such a loving boy. He will randomly kiss me and say I love you mummy out of the blue. When he is playing he will suddenly stop and say I'm going to sit with my mummy and curl up on the sofa with me.

Gerjuice · 02/11/2017 11:05

When my children give me cuddle in bed first thing and say things like 'you're the best mummy in the world'...what more could I ask for?

Careyl3 · 02/11/2017 12:31

My little one is 16 months old and shows me every day how much I'm loved by getting so emotional every time I leave the room. On my return (which can be seconds), he blows me kisses. Just too sweet !

Wishingandwaiting · 02/11/2017 12:43

I heard my girl say to my son
“We have the best mummy on the planet”
And my son responded “we definitely do”

My heart exploded

angiehoggett · 02/11/2017 13:17

They're very lovable and I encourage it, I don't want them to feel like they can't come to me at any time for kisses and cuddles!
