Luvabella would love to hear how your baby, toddler or pre schooler surprised you with their love for you! We all know this age can be tricky with sleepless nights, the "terrible twos", but that small people are also amazing at surprising you with a display of pure love. How does your LO surprise you with love - is it when you’re feeling low and they know just what to say, when they crack the biggest smile just for you, when they go to nursery and plant a big kiss on your cheek to say goodbye or when a special picture is created which you have to display on the fridge?

The team at Luvabella say “Discover so many real baby surprises with Luvabella! From the moment she opens her eyes and giggles, Luvabella will amaze you with her true-to-life facial expressions and personality! She moves, talks and plays just like a real baby. Through touch and play she affectionately responds to your love. Cover her eyes for a game of peek-a-boo, tickle her tummy and toes to make her giggle, or place a hand on her chest to gently listen to her heartbeat. You can even hold her feet to hear her say “mumma” and begin to babble! The more you play with her, the more she’ll talk. Her babble will transform into over 100 clear words and phrases! Caring for Luvabella is fun with her four interactive accessories! Use her spoon to feed her and she’ll chew with delight! If she’s not full, she may ask you for more. After her meal, help Luvabella learn new animal names and sounds with her Lamby toy! If she gets fussy, all she needs is her soother. When it’s time to go to bed after a big day of play, lull her to sleep with her bottle. Get to know all of Luvabella’s real baby surprises! 4 x C batteries required (not included). For ages 4 years and over.”

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where TWO winners will get - not only a £150 Argos voucher but also their very own Luvabella doll (a blond one) - worth £100.

Thanks and good luck

My son woke me up in the middle of the night not long ago to tell me he loved me. It was sweet but not when I'm fast asleep!

Cleftmum · 14/11/2017 16:53

Dd2 was born with a surprise cleft at 5 months we had dd2s pre op and were talking though what would happen on the day how they'd go about fixing it which surgeon we would get
Dd1 who was with us at the hospital and had been playing happily with some toys up till then came over and cuddled dd1 on my lap and said
"Dd1s name is fine mummy she doesn't need fixing I love her"

I just melted dd2 was such a difficult baby still is they hadn't really bonded till then they're almost inseparable now unless dd2 starts pulling her sisters hair Grin

TiggersAngel7774 · 14/11/2017 18:06

My son so caring always loves to hug me when he sees me having a bad day

JayJay1874 · 14/11/2017 19:09

When i made their lunch and was getting on with other things so not having lunch myself, they separated half of theirs and shouted that i need to keep my strength up so they are sharing.

paulaburnside · 14/11/2017 19:42

My 12 year old son never leaves the house without saying "Love you" even when his friends are with him. It melts my heart every time.

babyloi · 14/11/2017 19:43

Sometimes it's the littlest things that are the biggest gestures with little people! My 18 month old gives me one of their favourite snacks and just comes and sits next to me with their hand on my leg, looking up and smiling whilst I eat it. Literally makes my heart go to mush!

I have 3 girls, the eldest being 10 and a husband who is in the armed forces.

He is actually away at the moment and I have noticed my big girl now has very sweet grave concern as to if I’m ok emotionally and physically. She is forever asking if there is any jobs she can take over of if I need a cuddle. I am absolutely fine but it’s lovely to see how deeply she cares and even she might be feeling sad that her Daddy is away she is mature enough to realise that she might not be the only one who might feel it!!

I do take the offer of help though and always an extra cuddle as who says no to extra cuddles!!

Dessallara · 14/11/2017 20:54

My daughter pats me and says 'aww mummy' everytime we sit next to each other :)

funkyfreks · 14/11/2017 21:11

My youngest of my 3 girls always comes to say goodbye and give me a huge hug goodbye when I go to work, it doesn't matter what she is doing or who she is with she never fails to give me a real loving send off to work xx

Pretenna · 14/11/2017 21:21

When Charl gives surprise 'huggles' a mix between a hug and a cuddle :) He does a running jump and then holds on tight and doesn't let go for ages.

maria08k · 14/11/2017 21:43

My little boy will often totally take me by surprise by saying "mummy, you are my bestest friend ever and i love you forever" Totally wins me over every time and is worth the tears and tantrums!

TLAF · 14/11/2017 21:46

My LO shouts my name every evening when I get in and runs to me for kisses & cuddles. She also tells me I am her best friend and that she loves me all the way to the moon.

GetKnitted · 14/11/2017 22:10

smiling at 2 weeks, changed my life!

andreaca · 14/11/2017 22:16

Lots and Lots of Eskimo kisses when they were tiny ( or thats what we used to call them), plenty cuddles (still) and making me do silly selfies with them, which puts huge smiles on our faces. They still always tell me they love me daily, I feel blessed.

robyn297 · 14/11/2017 22:17

My daughter always comes up behind me and hugs my leg and says "mwah mwah mwah", most of the time she gives me a fright and we both end up in hysterics!

chrisstreet · 14/11/2017 22:19

My little boy likes a cuddle in bed in the morning and the evening- he is 6 now and still loves to tell me that he loves me ...... especially if he is procrastinating 🙈

pixelwife · 14/11/2017 22:24

My daughter is incredibly loving and affectionate and will say 'I love you so much, mummy' several times a day. She'll just come out with it completion of her own volition and my heart just bursts. I think she says things like that so freely as I tell her and my son who's 7 I love them countless times in the day although my son just finds that embarrassing!

Gill81uk · 14/11/2017 22:28

When my daughter was at nursery she'd do lots of pictures that referred to me giving her lots of cuddles

cathryn1 · 14/11/2017 22:30

my daughter often squeezes me and tells me she loves me and I'm her best friend forver

MrsKevo · 14/11/2017 22:31

My little tot was super cute the other day - we'd had a hectic morning with various things going wrong including forgetting to bring her book to swap for nursery so we'd have to do it after the weekend. When she pointed this out to me I said 'Sorry Baby, Mummy was rubbish this morning and forgot it, never mind we'll do it on Monday' and she gave my leg a big squeeze and said 'You're a GOOD MUM!'

noideawhat · 14/11/2017 23:05

My youngest DS(3) has a speech delay & lots of his words can be difficult to understand. However, he's recently been putting sentences together & telling me, "Me miss my mummy" when I pick him up from preschool & giving me a giant hug. On the way in to preschool he's started saying "me nearly miss my mummy" with a big grin on his face! I really miss him when he's there!

ikkle87 · 14/11/2017 23:50

my 5 year old is very loving and affectionate towards me, however the thing that melted my heart most is recently we were on the way home from school and lo says mama you are a mummy, but not like the ones in ancient egypt that are wrapped in toilet roll, you are a special kind of mummy, you are mine.

Tonkatol · 15/11/2017 00:00

It sounds strange but my youngest daughter had a way of comforting herself and showing me affection at the same time. I had a mole removed from the upper inside of my right arm several years before my youngest daughter was born. Due to an infection, I was left with a scar that looks like a beetle - a large oval circle with several "leg" sticking out. Early on when I was breastfeeding DC4, she would snuggle in and, with her free arm, pinch the soft oval of the scar. She continued this until I stopped feeding her at about 14 months, but until she was about 4 or 5, as soon as she would run to me and cuddle me, her hand automatically would pinch my arm on the scar spot. Even now, a few years later, if she is giving me a cuddle, she sometimes unconsciously searches for the scar.
