Luvabella would love to hear how your baby, toddler or pre schooler surprised you with their love for you! We all know this age can be tricky with sleepless nights, the "terrible twos", but that small people are also amazing at surprising you with a display of pure love. How does your LO surprise you with love - is it when you’re feeling low and they know just what to say, when they crack the biggest smile just for you, when they go to nursery and plant a big kiss on your cheek to say goodbye or when a special picture is created which you have to display on the fridge?

The team at Luvabella say “Discover so many real baby surprises with Luvabella! From the moment she opens her eyes and giggles, Luvabella will amaze you with her true-to-life facial expressions and personality! She moves, talks and plays just like a real baby. Through touch and play she affectionately responds to your love. Cover her eyes for a game of peek-a-boo, tickle her tummy and toes to make her giggle, or place a hand on her chest to gently listen to her heartbeat. You can even hold her feet to hear her say “mumma” and begin to babble! The more you play with her, the more she’ll talk. Her babble will transform into over 100 clear words and phrases! Caring for Luvabella is fun with her four interactive accessories! Use her spoon to feed her and she’ll chew with delight! If she’s not full, she may ask you for more. After her meal, help Luvabella learn new animal names and sounds with her Lamby toy! If she gets fussy, all she needs is her soother. When it’s time to go to bed after a big day of play, lull her to sleep with her bottle. Get to know all of Luvabella’s real baby surprises! 4 x C batteries required (not included). For ages 4 years and over.”

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where TWO winners will get - not only a £150 Argos voucher but also their very own Luvabella doll (a blond one) - worth £100.

Thanks and good luck

My toddler is always saying I love you out of the blue... and I always have to eat the love hearts from their haribos pack. Now thats true love from a child ;)

PenguinQueen · 01/11/2017 09:55

My toddler strokes my face and says "awwww cuggles" melts my heart 😍 especially after a tough day

ameswright2906 · 01/11/2017 10:06

My 2 year old comes up to me and gives me the biggest, loveliest cuddles. My 4 year old strokes my head when I'm not well and tells me to "lie down and get some rest". My 5 year old makes me lovely cards and drawings at school.

To me, 80% of the time, I am stressed and can't stand being a parent but that 20% of smiles, laughs and happy times makes it all worth while. I wouldn't change t for the world (except maybe hire a nanny haha)!

InvisibleKittenAttack · 01/11/2017 10:24

When dc1 was around 2, I was woken up at an ungodly hour on Valentine's Day by a song to the tune of "happy birthday" but changed to "I love Mummy" - still melts my heart to think about it.

ShowMeWhatYouGot · 01/11/2017 11:36

My toddler looks for reasons to kiss me, he will very gently hit or bump into me and give the areas he "hurt" kiss's or cuddles x

NeverTwerkNaked · 01/11/2017 11:59

I was very low and crying the other day (because something fairly awful had happened), and my daughter just lay down next to me and stroked my face gently and said "luff you, luff you". she's so wild and boisterous normally, it was magical to see her show how much she cares

iut044 · 01/11/2017 12:26

By hugging me when I am feeling down .

TorNayDoh · 01/11/2017 12:28

1yo DN looked at me and beamed and said "Auntie Tor" for the first time last week.

nad79 · 01/11/2017 12:37

My son has autism and when he is feeling loving, he usually will lick my hand and cheek! He can also repeatedly run and slam into me, doesn't sound affectionate but it's how he shows it. He also told me I made his heart spin. He loves spinning, so I guess that's a good thing. He makes my heart spin too.

Thirdload · 01/11/2017 12:43

My littlest one will be going beep beep and pressing my nose when she suddenly leans in for a slobbery kiss followed by a vice-like hug round my face. It's lovely Grin

TellMeItsNotTrue · 01/11/2017 12:49

Trying to put on a front and pretend everything was fine, adults didn't look past that front but DD gave me her disgusting comfort toy and patted my arm, it was so hard not to burst in to tears but I gave her a big hug and went to the bathroom and had a cry before pulling myself together and going back out and cuddling up with DD and a Disney film on tv

southernsun · 01/11/2017 13:02

That smile that instantly pops up on his face when you have been apart and he sees you come to pick him up.

Hmumto3 · 01/11/2017 13:06

My 3 yr old daughter would pick up flowers for me everyday and give my kisses, hugs and cuddles randomly. When I am upset she will come up to me and give me the biggest cuddle and say I love you...so little yet so precious

Obie4 · 01/11/2017 13:55

I have a 23 month old and a 35 month old. They get extremely jelouse of each other if me or there dad is paying one more attention that the other.
Last week after a lot of arguing between them for my attention, my youngest had a nap on the sofa, my older daughter lay next to her and kept quietly kissing her.
Then she sat up and said, Thank you mummy, your great, you got me mine best friend.' Pointing at her sister. 'I love you mummy'
I always feel a little guilty having them so close together and not often having one on one, so this was so lovely I cried a little. X

rackhampearl · 01/11/2017 14:10

I passed out in my kitchen a month ago and when I came to my two year old was kissing me repeatedly and she said 'good morning mummy, I gave you a magic kiss to wake up up' still melts my heart when I think of it.

LouieAl84 · 01/11/2017 14:12

When my two year old is in the trolley and I’m stressing, chucking random food items into it and inevitably spending the fortune, he’ll say ‘Mummy, you’re gawjust’. I hope he means I’m gorgeous! 😘😍

CatRash · 01/11/2017 14:36

The great big grins!

Sleepysausage · 01/11/2017 14:51

Our toddler regularly asks one of us to cuddle with her, she'll then shout for the other and wants the three of us to cuddle 'all together' it's just so cute! She will say she misses us after we've been apart, nursery/work.

SSCRASE123 · 01/11/2017 15:21

My youngest has taken to coming downstairs early in the morning when I'm the only one up just to give me cuddles and sit with me until I have to go to work. Beautiful start to the day.

Rachie1986 · 01/11/2017 15:26

When I had a migraine and none of the medicine I needed, my husband went out to find me some but left my 3 year old at home as she wasn't yet dressed. She asked me to come downstairs and play so I told her I needed to lie on the bed with my eyes shut because of my head. She promptly lay down next to me and kissed my forehead periodically, supplemented with comments of "poor mummy bad head" and "I love you better mummy". She stayed there until my husband came back!

adorabelle13 · 01/11/2017 15:56

My little girl Poppy has developmental problems and possible ASD. So she is very much in her own little bubble. But if she ever sees me down she climbs up on my lap, gives me the biggest cuddle and says "uvv oo" (love you).

It never fails to surprise me how protective and caring she is of me.

DD is 6 now but has always written me notes. She learnt to write mum very early on.... Then the rest would be scribble. Next word was love .. then I love you.
Now she writes letters to her friends .. and receives them back. It very sweet to hear them talking about Thier BFF's when they are only 6!

Beach11 · 01/11/2017 16:07

My DS gives me lovely compliments- mummy you look beautiful, mummy your perfume smells delicious. And if I look a bit sad or down he say happy face mummy, mummy look at my happy face & gives me a cuddle

BonjourMinou · 01/11/2017 16:43

I get lots of kisses and cuddles and told I am so beautiful! But the time really sticks out in my mind, when my daughter was aged 3 (she is now 4) at a family barbecue where she was introduced to some people we hadn't met yet, she proudly introduced me, saying "that's MY MUMMY!". I could feel the pride radiating from her, it was just lovely.

My son tells me I love you mummy
(He's 2), and comes up to give me the sweetest cuddles, laying his little head on my shoulder.

I have such sweet children, I am very lucky.

Littlestchristmastree · 01/11/2017 17:05

My baby has sensory issues and as a result gives the biggest, strongest and best ever cuddles!! Dd1 when she was a baby used to give tons of big wet soppy kisses that often involved sucking on my chin 😍
