Luvabella would love to hear how your baby, toddler or pre schooler surprised you with their love for you! We all know this age can be tricky with sleepless nights, the "terrible twos", but that small people are also amazing at surprising you with a display of pure love. How does your LO surprise you with love - is it when you’re feeling low and they know just what to say, when they crack the biggest smile just for you, when they go to nursery and plant a big kiss on your cheek to say goodbye or when a special picture is created which you have to display on the fridge?

The team at Luvabella say “Discover so many real baby surprises with Luvabella! From the moment she opens her eyes and giggles, Luvabella will amaze you with her true-to-life facial expressions and personality! She moves, talks and plays just like a real baby. Through touch and play she affectionately responds to your love. Cover her eyes for a game of peek-a-boo, tickle her tummy and toes to make her giggle, or place a hand on her chest to gently listen to her heartbeat. You can even hold her feet to hear her say “mumma” and begin to babble! The more you play with her, the more she’ll talk. Her babble will transform into over 100 clear words and phrases! Caring for Luvabella is fun with her four interactive accessories! Use her spoon to feed her and she’ll chew with delight! If she’s not full, she may ask you for more. After her meal, help Luvabella learn new animal names and sounds with her Lamby toy! If she gets fussy, all she needs is her soother. When it’s time to go to bed after a big day of play, lull her to sleep with her bottle. Get to know all of Luvabella’s real baby surprises! 4 x C batteries required (not included). For ages 4 years and over.”

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where TWO winners will get - not only a £150 Argos voucher but also their very own Luvabella doll (a blond one) - worth £100.

Thanks and good luck

If I'm feeling down he will give me a hug and do one of his amazing drawings to cheer me up - he is great at art and his creations always make me smile.

I hope you don’t mind a grandma answering this because obviously my granddaughter isn’t my baby.

I don’t get to see her so often because we live 4 hours away but I was visiting when she was 7 months. I hadn’t seen her for about 6 weeks and I crept in very quietly because it was nap time. My daughter had just lifted a very sleepy girl out of her cot and as soon as she saw me she stretched her arms out for me to hold her. She snuggled up into my neck and just held on like a little panda. I was so touched it brought tears to my eyes.

A couple of months back I was talking to my daughter on the phone and she asked my granddaughter if she wanted to speak to grandma. She couldn’t understand the concept of phone calls and when we had all finished talking and ended the call she apparently burst into floods of tears telling my daughter to open the door and let me in because I was outside.

As well as loving her beyond words I feel that this love is returned whenever I see her. Even if she does come tearing into my bedroom at 6am.

They say love you, and hug.

Mummyoftwo91 · 31/10/2017 17:31

My toddler tells me I’m her best friend and that she loves me every day, that unconditional love makes me feel so special, she only ever sees the good in me

the middle of the night smiles

My little girl is 7 months old but she is not a cuddler in any sense of the word. She likes you to be there but doesnt like being cuddled or held much. Every so often she'll reach her arms out to me and let me give her a real cuddle, arms round my neck, and going "ahhh". It's really lovely.

oliversax · 31/10/2017 18:06

My toddler hugs my leg in a vice like grip as I try to do the housework. Very sweet but makes it difficult to get anything done.

Pinkiepromisex · 31/10/2017 18:17

Through a sob “ mummy I want my bones to be with your bones when You’re dead. I don’t want you to die”
Me “ that won’t happen for years and years” ds “ yes it will”Shock

mo3733 · 31/10/2017 18:27

my child can sense if i feel down and knows to make me laugh she does this little dance for me. its hilarious and cheers me up

pops5007 · 31/10/2017 18:29

My toddler isn’t verbal but will stretch his arms out wide like in the book how much I love you and then come and gives me a kiss.
He always saves his biggest smiles for me and doesn’t stop smiling till I give him a hug.

feefeegabor · 31/10/2017 18:43

My daughter was a very loving baby - she was always giving me wet kisses and hugs - so sweet!

asuwere · 31/10/2017 18:49

xcxcsophiexcxc · 31/10/2017 19:06

Spices001 · 31/10/2017 19:36

Marg2k8 · 31/10/2017 19:53

My children are older now, but I still have little letters they wrote to me saying "I love you mummy"

koalab · 31/10/2017 20:01

My 11 month old loves sitting in trolley seats and sometimes she pulls me in for a hug from them. Always puts a smile on my face Grin

vickyors · 31/10/2017 20:04

I tripped over and caught my toe on the corner of a kitchen cupboard. It hurt, and I doubled over, attempting not to swear with the pain. I was crying, and my toddler came over and put her arm around me and leant her head into me to check I was ok. It was beautiful, and so kind..

Cailin7 · 31/10/2017 20:18

It is lovely when our Dcs give hugs. They are less frequent the older they get but that just makes them feel even more special

mummykate87 · 31/10/2017 20:26

It's absolutely when she smiles at me! Parenting is the hardest job out there and that moment when her face lights up reminds me that we're in this together and brightens my world!

Mrsevo1 · 31/10/2017 20:40

I'm in agony with back pain at the moment me find it hard to move! I've gone to get up out the settee today to hear "no no no no no mommy!! You need to wait for daddy to help you because you've got a poorly back and we don't want it hurting". My heart just melted-how can a three year old be so caring and thoughtful 😍😍😍

Lisapaige24 · 31/10/2017 20:45

Mine has a habit of saying to me when am feeling low or stressed mummy you know what I love you as much as I love Gizmo ( the dog ) and as much as chocolate which always makes me feel better then will run over and give me a kiss and big cuddles he seems to know when to say the sweetest things when I need it the most to give me a huge burst of love

lostintime17 · 31/10/2017 20:47

My 4 year old daughter says to me ‘I just can’t tell you Mummy how much I love you. When I’m near you my heart beats faster because I love you too much’
My 2 year old has just learnt how to say ‘I luff you mummy’
Proud Mummy to two beautiful daughters here!

pennwood · 31/10/2017 20:48

When my daughter was little she would say she loved me paper money when it was a special moment to her which I found really lovely.

PugwallsSummer · 31/10/2017 20:53

When my 10 month old crawls to me and climbs up my legs for a hug. She nuzzles her head into my shoulder and I feel so loved.
