Luvabella would love to hear how your baby, toddler or pre schooler surprised you with their love for you! We all know this age can be tricky with sleepless nights, the "terrible twos", but that small people are also amazing at surprising you with a display of pure love. How does your LO surprise you with love - is it when you’re feeling low and they know just what to say, when they crack the biggest smile just for you, when they go to nursery and plant a big kiss on your cheek to say goodbye or when a special picture is created which you have to display on the fridge?

The team at Luvabella say “Discover so many real baby surprises with Luvabella! From the moment she opens her eyes and giggles, Luvabella will amaze you with her true-to-life facial expressions and personality! She moves, talks and plays just like a real baby. Through touch and play she affectionately responds to your love. Cover her eyes for a game of peek-a-boo, tickle her tummy and toes to make her giggle, or place a hand on her chest to gently listen to her heartbeat. You can even hold her feet to hear her say “mumma” and begin to babble! The more you play with her, the more she’ll talk. Her babble will transform into over 100 clear words and phrases! Caring for Luvabella is fun with her four interactive accessories! Use her spoon to feed her and she’ll chew with delight! If she’s not full, she may ask you for more. After her meal, help Luvabella learn new animal names and sounds with her Lamby toy! If she gets fussy, all she needs is her soother. When it’s time to go to bed after a big day of play, lull her to sleep with her bottle. Get to know all of Luvabella’s real baby surprises! 4 x C batteries required (not included). For ages 4 years and over.”

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where TWO winners will get - not only a £150 Argos voucher but also their very own Luvabella doll (a blond one) - worth £100.

Thanks and good luck

My daughter is very loving and constantly hugging me and she says "I love you" at least 10 times a day! She also loves arts and crafts and since she was about 18 months has made me heart pictures. She is awesome!

She would absolutely LOVE this doll!! x

I have two beautiful girls and they both surprise me with their endless love. My youngest recently said to me Mum I know the numbers don't run out but I love you to the end of the numbers lol. I'm pregnant with bubba number 3 and due any day and have had god awful morning sickness (read as all day!) and they have been the most amazing little helpers their 5 & 6 and honestly sick bucket grabbers, mummy hiders (if its happened when we're out!) their my world and they show me every day I'm theirs :)

DS3 would always use my hair as a comfort blanket when he was upset or feeding or anything - he would play with and stroke my hair for ages. As you can imagine, my hair was a mess for the first two years of his life! He still cuddles me and strokes my hair now - even though he's 16, just sadly not as often any more!

Helsbells68 · 07/11/2017 12:21

My DS was a toddler he used to pat me on the back when we hugged, now he instinctively knows when I am need of a hug.

malisa · 07/11/2017 13:52

My son is lovable little boy. He often coming to me for kisses and cuddles and telling me "I love you mummy". We usually, after lunch have " a cuddle time" when we hug each other and I read story. When he fallen down a little cuddle does a lot and soon he is happy again and on the move.

When playing with other children, and bringing me a cup of play tea and plate of play cake.Thoughtful love, which makes me feel loved and wanted.

My little one runs out of pre school and gives me a huge hug and always says the same sentence, I love you a thousand times! He's only there for 3 hours!

LostMyBaubles · 07/11/2017 16:28

My youngest (3) wakes up in the morning and when I stand by his bed he makes this squeal noise like a baby mouse.
He then starts stirring and gets up half eyed and rubs his nose against mine
He will do this for about half a min and then says morning mama love you

I've been poorly lately and all 3 of my children have been praying and saying God you can do it please make our mummy better 🙏 can't ask for more
That's how they show me they love me

Feeling very blessed to have them

Dangermouse80 · 07/11/2017 19:37

My son always insists I'm his best friend as well as his mum!!

tiddledpink · 07/11/2017 20:14

I was playing with 3yo DS the other day after a few stressful nights at work; when he jumped up off the floor and came running at me knocking me to the floor.
He then licked my face, proceeded to give me a huge kiss and told me 'mummy is my best friend; mummy, mummy you are my hero'

It's the first time he's ever said anything like that and it made me cry a little.

beckythomas · 07/11/2017 20:50

I am an expecting mum and would really love to hear such stories. I would like to share one story I came across on Youtube. Its not my baby's story. Its something came across. The Father of a little daughter says "I ate your candy..all of them..Sorry". The kid's face went small, then she became normal and says to father "Its okay. I still love you". The father goes "you are the best daughter...actually I did not eat them..they are all there for you". The little kid says "its ok..you can eat some.." :)

What an adorable kid!! I hope to see my baby growing like that :)

musicalmama · 07/11/2017 22:05

I always call my DS ‘darling’ to which he usually replies that he is not called darling and says his proper name. The other night I was cuddling him in to sleep and he said out of the blue, ‘mummy, you’re my darling’. My heart melted. Smile

Dixiestampsagain · 07/11/2017 23:55

My dd7 wrote me a song for me and accompanied herself on the ukelele- let’s nust say it made me cry!

daisydoodaisy77 · 08/11/2017 07:31

I have an 18 year old and a 3 year old so she picks up a lot of slang from my 18 year old. One day recently I slammed my toe in door frame. Holding back the verbal screams I wanted to shout out, I clenched my teeth and went red in my face. Had a tear roll down my face. Looked at toe it was going alovely black colour. My little one comes to me “ah babes what’s wrong” holding my head to her chest saying ”ssshhhh sssshhhh it’s ok” The sweetest moment in a very painful experience 😅

ohfourfoxache · 08/11/2017 08:20

DS1 will give me one of his most treasured possessions (one of his many muslin squares) if I’m tired and/or cuddling him.

And, rather beautifully, he will also give 15 week old ds2 a muslin if he cries! Ah, brotherly love.....

SimoneOfHouseDavies · 08/11/2017 09:52

My dd would always come and give me a big cuddle if I seemed sad, even if I wasn't actually, but she thought I might be!

When ds1 was about 2.5/3 he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! He was most upset when I explained why I couldn't marry him!

My youngest ds is 9 weeks and stares at me intently from wherever he is and follows me round the room with his eyes. Then when I pick him up he has a big smile!

PeterPrunus · 08/11/2017 11:21

My DS came and woke me up one morning and said he’d made me breakfast.
He’d peeled a clementine and put it on a dinner plate alongside carefully broken chocolate digestives.
He was 3.
I didn’t have the heart to tell him I didn’t like chocolate digestives and ate it all while he sat at the end of the bed beaming at me.
(It still makes me tear up now and he’s 13 next year! Blush)

OrangeCactus · 08/11/2017 12:48

I’ve been poorly with a cold for the past few days and each morning dd (3) has come in to my bedroom and given me her special blanket and bunny toy to cuddle to make me feel better. She also offered to get me the sick bowl but she didn’t quite grasp that I wasn’t sick in that way Grin

yasmin0147 · 08/11/2017 13:19

My little girl cracked eggs on a baking tray and said “mummy I made you breakfast” and my 9 month old has started saying mumma

malaguena · 08/11/2017 14:13

My daughter loves writing people cards. She wrote me one thanking me for things I do for me like driving her to school, and saying how much she appreciates her family. It was the sweetest thing, and I keep it preciously.

ailsasheldon · 08/11/2017 15:02

My twins had a significant speech delay and didn't utter a word until they were past 4 years. When they started speech therapy they learned to sign. One night the eldest twin, Toby , signed "I love you." It was a really special moment

badgermum · 08/11/2017 19:36

One time when I was feeling down having lost my Mum the year before I had a few tears and DS2 came up and threw his arms around me and just squeezed and squeezed and it was just what I needed at that time! A cuddle and a sniff of my childrens hair always lifts my mood

HerRoyalFattyness · 08/11/2017 21:29

Putting my 2 year old to bed tonight, we read a story then I tucked him in as I do every night.
Unlike every other night his sister (3) was already asleep, and he knew that. So when I went to leave the room he started crying.
I asked him what was up and he said "my not seed you today and (sister) is sleep. My want tuddles"
So because he hasn't seen me all day (I work long days) and his sister was already asleep , he decided he would get the cuddles id usually giver her.
So I went and cuddled him and he fell asleep in my arms.

faceremovinghairscream · 08/11/2017 23:02

My three year old sang me happy birthday, word perfect, the moment I opened my eyes yesterday morning. It was the loveliest thing I've ever heard Smile
