Luvabella would love to hear how your baby, toddler or pre schooler surprised you with their love for you! We all know this age can be tricky with sleepless nights, the "terrible twos", but that small people are also amazing at surprising you with a display of pure love. How does your LO surprise you with love - is it when you’re feeling low and they know just what to say, when they crack the biggest smile just for you, when they go to nursery and plant a big kiss on your cheek to say goodbye or when a special picture is created which you have to display on the fridge?

The team at Luvabella say “Discover so many real baby surprises with Luvabella! From the moment she opens her eyes and giggles, Luvabella will amaze you with her true-to-life facial expressions and personality! She moves, talks and plays just like a real baby. Through touch and play she affectionately responds to your love. Cover her eyes for a game of peek-a-boo, tickle her tummy and toes to make her giggle, or place a hand on her chest to gently listen to her heartbeat. You can even hold her feet to hear her say “mumma” and begin to babble! The more you play with her, the more she’ll talk. Her babble will transform into over 100 clear words and phrases! Caring for Luvabella is fun with her four interactive accessories! Use her spoon to feed her and she’ll chew with delight! If she’s not full, she may ask you for more. After her meal, help Luvabella learn new animal names and sounds with her Lamby toy! If she gets fussy, all she needs is her soother. When it’s time to go to bed after a big day of play, lull her to sleep with her bottle. Get to know all of Luvabella’s real baby surprises! 4 x C batteries required (not included). For ages 4 years and over.”

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where TWO winners will get - not only a £150 Argos voucher but also their very own Luvabella doll (a blond one) - worth £100.

Thanks and good luck

My 8 month old ds puts his arms round my neck and grips hold of the hair at the back of my neck while giving me kisses. This happens everytime he has been away from me, even just for an hour!

WonderLime · 09/11/2017 00:19

My LO is only 3 months old. However, he has just started smiling at me when he spots me from across the room. There is something so lovely about being recognised and him being delighted by my presence.

BetterEatCheese · 09/11/2017 07:07

When Dd was 3 she handed me a piece of her biscuit. I said 'good sharing dd' and she replied, 'that's not sharing, it's love.'

Blew me away!

tabbaz123 · 09/11/2017 08:38

Quite honestly it is those lovely smiles - when they look for comfort or reassurance or just a mischievous glance and then the lovely smile that lights up their face - lights up my heart instantly

Wilberforce2 · 09/11/2017 13:48

My 3.5 year old forces me to smile! If I’m a bit grumpy or sad (as I have been over the last few months due to a bereavement) she comes over and asks if I’m ok and even if I say yes she won’t leave until I smile. It can’t be a little smile though it has to be a big genuine one, she just stands there saying “smile Mummy, no bigger than that” then says that’s better, gives me a cuddle and off she goes. I asked her why she does that and she says if everyone is smiling then everyone is happy! x

my youngest son leaves me little messages now he can write a few words :)

ChoosyTulip · 09/11/2017 20:00

My almost 4yo has a communication difficulty and uses makaton sign language. There is nothing more beautiful than her doing an Eskimo kiss to me then signing ‘love mummy’ 💕

littledinaco · 09/11/2017 21:25

Mine write me little letters telling me I am the best mummy in the whole wild worldGrin

They do little surprises like set the breakfast table up with a little card for me and my favourite mug.

When shopping with their dad, they are always choosing things they think I will like, socks, pyjamas, candles - costs him a fortune!

Easylikeasonntagmorgan · 09/11/2017 21:58

My toddler blows me a kiss, and gives me a toy from her cot every night when I put her to bed

morethemerrier · 09/11/2017 23:42

I have 4 children, the eldest of whom is Autistic so as he struggled with expressing his emotions he was never a particularly 'huggy toddler'. He is now 18 and has been through some challenging times since leaving school, standing at 6ft tall he towers over me, after dropping him off at a friends house recently he leaned down (I am a 5ft short arse) and kissed the top of my head,he has never done it before and caught me by surprise! My heart swelled with love and it was a moment I will remember forever, it was an unforced natural act made even more special because I know how rarely he is able to express his feelings.
My girls on the other hand (aged 5 and 7) write me notes and hide them under my pillow, draw pictures of the whole family and write how much they love us. And we have invented 'the mummy hug', which is utilised when anyone is hurt or upset its a specific magical hug and sends out a force field of love that conquers all sadness, and fears including mine!

ohlittlepea · 10/11/2017 07:08

I wasnt prepared to be a hero to my dd she does wonders for ny self esteem! Most lovely thing shes said lately:

dd: When I grow up I will get a big snuggly cardigan juat like you mummy?
Me: You like snuggly cardigans.
dd: No, I just like you.

maclinks · 10/11/2017 18:19

I suffer with arthritis , some days I am very bad last week my 3 year old will ask me if I was well, I told them I hurt a bit today so would be a bit slow. They went and fetched their favourite snuggle blanket cover me up and said, this make me feel better mummy

NextIndia · 11/11/2017 08:38

My DD age 4 kisses my ‘boo boos’. If I burn myself on the oven and there’s a horrible blister, or if I cut myself chopping veg I do this a lot and there’s a bleeding cut, she doesn’t see the yukky-ness of it, she just sees that mummy has hurt herself and wants to kiss it better. She is an absolute angel and she melts my heart, every day. 😍

Realitea · 11/11/2017 16:21

I used to absolutely love it when my dd used to try to kiss me on the nose! It was the cutest thing. Wobbling her head around to try to focus properly on the target, grabbing my cheeks tightly with her little hands and then planting her drooly open mouth on my nose. Grin so funny!

SadClown · 11/11/2017 22:25

I asked my nearly three year old who his best friend was and he said his big sister is ❤️ I knew I'd love my babies, I hoped they'd love me, but every single day I'm blown away by how much they love each other.

PodgeBod · 11/11/2017 22:42

Tonight I was holding my 2 year old by the window to see the neighbours fireworks and she started stroking my hair and told me “mummy, I love your hair”. It’s a small thing but after a dreadful day at work it meant a lot, that she had a specific part of me that she loves.
My 14 month old loves me completely Grin she makes my day, everyday. Her idea of the perfect day is one in which mummy never puts her down, not even for a second!

flapjack35 · 11/11/2017 23:54

My daughter age 4 comes over to me, gives my hand a squeeze and says 'I love you very, very much mummy'

RainyDayBear · 12/11/2017 07:19

My toddler will always share her food with me - she is very insistent, I don’t really want to admit how often I will eat something she has already partially chewed! Also, the lovely cuddles and big smiles Grin

1moreRep · 12/11/2017 07:39

it was when she put her arm around me and stroked my back in the same way i do her- it was adorable

Letty7 · 12/11/2017 07:45

My son is almost one and loves to touch my face and just stare into my eyes smiling. It melts my heart every time.

katiefish · 12/11/2017 09:57

Just gives me hugs and kisses when feeling low, she has a sense and can just pick up on it

SpandexPandas · 12/11/2017 14:39

My little one came up to me the other day and said "Mummy. You are SO BEAUTIFUL" It absolutely made my day because I don't have the best self confidence to so hear it from a 4 year old who doesn't lie and had no reason to was so pure and lovely. I would absolutely love to surprise her in return with her very own LUVABELLA doll! She is so desperate for one! Thanks guys xx

My 3 year old is pretty wild and is usually far too busy for cuddles. So when he runs up for a big cuddle and tells me that he loves me it feels particularly special!

katieskatie82 · 12/11/2017 17:23

i always love it when my little boy brings drawings home from nursery with lots and lots of kisses on them for me x

Ymamiss · 12/11/2017 18:46

My 2 year old points to his ear then at my chest, then cuddles me with his ear pressed to my heart. It melts me, every time.
