The team at Royal Caribbean cruises would love to hear what onboard activity you’d pick should you find yourself onboard one of their cruise ships - and what would be top of the list of things to do for your partner, kids or parents?

We'd all love the water activity and cinema!

Dd would love the kids club - though we would join as she's only 17 months but I like that you have thought about little ones too. She'd also love swimming and the kids waterpark.
Dh would love the mini golf and rock wall
I would love the cinema.
Dd is about to embark on her 4th cruise and we have a 5th booked before she is 2 but we haven't tried royal carribbean with her but we have cruised with them in the past.

We love RC cruises and have been on two! Going on one next year, too.

Kids are now 8 and 11 (when they will be 9 and 12). I've shown them this thread. What they'd chose: FlowRider Surf Simulator, Games Arcade, Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Rock Wall, Roller Disco, Kid's Waterpark, Swimming, Perfect Storm Waterslides, Ultimate Abyss, Whirlpools, Xbox Games and Zip Lines. In fact, they prefer sea days to port days now, even with excursions! They both love the kid's clubs, too and especially the disco nights. DD, age 11, is very sportive and adores watersports especially, and since we live in Scotland, any opportunity she gets to try new ones in a nice, warm setting she jumps on. She's quite the daredevil, too, so the zip line and rock wall she'd definitely punt for (in fact, we both went on the rock wall on the Navigator). DS is more into the gaming so the arcades, Xbox games and laser tag would be right up his street.

DH and I like things a bit more mellow so would prefer the Learn to Dance, Mini Golf, Ice Rink, Rock Wall and Whirlpools. These things are also more like a date, something we could do together whilst the kids enjoy themselves in the club or, since we go with my family, whilst they enjoy another activity in the company of family.

As a family we also love the live music on the Lido deck and the dancing/zumba stuff on the deck, loads of fun, and the outdoor cinema, whilst my mother and I manage to take in a show or two in the evening.

My dad's favourite tshirt? 'Life's Better Cruisin'!'

13 year old dd would love the swimming pools and all the water activities and is desperate to do the FlowRider® Surf Simulator, she has seen it on the tv and thinks it looks amazing. DS is 10 and would like anything to do with films and games, so the cinema and arcade.

I would like them to read in the library...

I'd pick indoor skydiving as I've never tried anything like that before.

DH would probably pick the surf simulator - just for a laugh!!

DS (5) would pick the zip slide or waters slides.

DD (2) would go for the rock wall or dancing!

All sounds such fun!!

We all love Laser Tag so that would be our favourite as a family.

Teen DCs love anything to do with water so they'd be running through all the waterpark stuff.

DH is a sucker for mini golf and would get us all together for a round.

I'd try the indoor skydiving - I've always wanted to have a go at that.

DC would choose:
Cinema - as long as it was something geared to under 10s
Circus school - they tried bungee jumping for the first time this summer and loved it, this would be right up their alley
Games arcade - they think it's fun
Ice rink - they want to try ice skating
Learn to dance - another favourite activity
Mini golf - they've never done it and really want to
Reading - if we passed by they would want to go in
Water park/swimming - every day, they would nag until we went!
Roller disco - provided they were old enough/ the venue had skates in their sizes
Zip line - probably yo young but they would be interested

Indoor skydiving for me! Water slides for DP (32 and three quarters). Swimming pool for DD (9 months). Thanks MN, now I want to book a cruise but I've got no money!

I would pick swimming, water slides and whirlpools.

DP would pick swimming, games arcade and ice rink.

DS is 3 and would enjoy stay and play activities at a kids club, but not being left within a childcare setting, swimming and the kids water park.

We would likely stick together to experience each other's favoured activities as a family on this type of holiday.

We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise on the Navigator this summer with DS(10) and had a wonderful time.

DS loved the swimming, the rock wall, the sports court, mini golf and the arcade. He would like to try the water slides, the x-box gaming, the escape room and the laser tag too. We actually ran out of time for him to try the FlowRider as we were that busy, but he has plans to try that as soon as possible on our next cruise.

DH and I really enjoyed the whirlpool and I would love to learn to dance. As a family we would either watch a show in the evening or play cards or read in the library.

We have booked to go on the Navigator again next summer and our adult DDs have decided that they don't want to do their own thing and are coming with us. Maybe we'll be on the same cruise @expatinscotland

Definitely a panic room! DH and I recently did one and absolutely loved it!

The more I look at the list the more I realise what a perfect holiday that would be!
We would do all of it and thoroughly enjoy it too.

I'd do Learn to Dance and Roller Disco. My kids would love the video games, climing wall and zip wire.

Can't wait, TheWoolly, but we will be out of Miami next Summer for our cruise. My parents live near Galveston and regularly cruise with RC and Carnival as they are retired and can just leave their car in one of the car parks near by and hop on the ship. In fact, they even got stuck on a ship during Hurricane Harvey as the port was closed and they were unable to land!

I'd pick Learn to Dance, Swimming and Circus school (if it was for adults).
Son would pick Rock Wall and Escape Room.
Grandson would pick Dreamworks Experience, Rock Wall, Flow Rider Surf Simulator, Zip Line.
Daughter in Law would pick Learn to Dance, Escape Room, Cinema.

It's a little while since I've been on a cruise, must plan another one soon.

My DS would love the circus school! I would be all about the ice rink and I'd like to try the rock wall too.

This list is incredible! We'd love the water park, zip slides, dodgems... All of it really!?

My three DC'S would love the circus school and dodgems. I personally would love the whirlpool

Wow that is quite a list! It's hard to pick because as a family we would try most things on the list. Personally I like the sounds of whirlpools. DH would be all over the rock climbing. DS (5) loves water parks - he adores swimming too. DD (1.5) is happy to generally tag along. She likes swimming and eating. She likes the cinema and just hanging out.

As a golf addict, I think DH would love to play mini golf with the kids. I'd love to try the indoor sky diving as it's something we've never done before and we'd all love the water slides!

Circus school
It has it all dressing up, activity and lots of opportunities for a giggle!

DS is 9 and he would want to try everything: the Flowrider, the indoor skydiving, the dodgems, the golf, the waterslides, whirlpools, zipwire, rockwall, ice rink, waterpark and lasertag. Given half a chance he would probably enjoy the arcade and the x-box etc as well - although we would probably disagree about how much he should use them!

As a family we would enjoy the Cinema and the Escape Room - but I would probably want to have a go at all the activities as well....

It's certainly a pretty good list. I have never been on a cruise because I was fairly sure I would be bored - but looking at all that has made me think again.

Definitely the mini golf that would be great for all the family and you can play more than once on holiday and not get bored

The DC would love everything. This is their idea of heaven.

DP and me, some water fun, perfect storm slides sound good, but reading in the. Library sounds especially relaxing.

DD, aged 12, would love roller disco, zip lines, water park, and escape room, as well as everything else.

I think they would be amazed at the number of things aboard a ship. They find the cross channel ferry with a bingo master exciting enough.

I asked my son aged 12 which activities he would choose out of all of the activities above and he said 'how on earth could I choose out of all those fun things!' So there you have it! He would be happy with ALL the activities on offer!!

As a family we would enjoy all the swimming activities and the cinema. It all sounds good fun to me.
