To help celebrate dads everywhere this Father’s Day, the team at Google would love to hear your tales of how your dad or your children's dad claims to know EVERYTHING, or at least thinks they do Grin.

Please share your stories of all the amazing things your dad or your child’s dad knows (or things they claim to know how to do).

The team at Google say “Google Home is a hands-free smart speaker powered by the Google Assistant, and it may just save your dad or your child’s dad’s blushes this Father’s Day. Ask it questions. Get real-time answers for the whole family, including the latest on weather, traffic, sports, finance, local businesses and more. It's your own Google, always ready to help”.

Below is a video about Google Home:

My Dad thinks he knows all the rules to Rugby. But after watching quite a few matches with him, i think that there might be one or two rules he's a bit vague on!

AR2012 · 13/06/2017 16:25

My Dad WWas a very wise man. Didnt claim to know everything but had sound advice when needed.

emmav6 · 13/06/2017 16:48

hubby is NEVER wrong!!! unfortunately for him our eldest is getting smarter by the day and can match him in a game of trivial pursuit. Unfortunately for me they are equally sore losers haha

emmmaaa26 · 13/06/2017 17:07

My dad claims to know everything, even when proven wrong. I just let him have it.

we went camping last year and borrowd a tent from a friend. he offered to show my dad how to put it up was a sixman tent to which my dad scoffed and commented he was an experienced amper and would put it up in a jiffy. arrived on site, two hours later dad finally asked our camping neighbours for assistance!!!

My dad knows a lot, having done some very unusual jobs in his past! One thing I think is pretty cool is that he knows how to expertly deal a deck of cards (he used to be a casino manager), and knows how to play all the major casino card games. He's hard to beat!

feefeegabor · 13/06/2017 19:01

My Dad does know just about everything - he's amazingly clever and has such a great memory. We keep trying to persuade him to do a games show - he'd clean up!

finleypop · 13/06/2017 19:09

My dad does not know what an opinion is. If you have a different opinion, you are actually wrong.

For example, I like spicy food. Wrong.
My favourite colour is blue. Wrong

devito92 · 13/06/2017 19:15

Thinks he knows how facebook works and so obviously hasn't got a clue

juju3 · 13/06/2017 19:32

My DH claims to know everything about rollercoasters - he's always off riding them - and when he's not he bores everyone talking about them

spottypjs · 13/06/2017 19:48

My dad can do everything and knows everything, took him 15 years to build an extension on the house though haha

Lisapaige24 · 13/06/2017 20:03

My Children's Dad actually knows a lot he is extremely good at most things but he is really bad at cooking and seems to to think he is great so much so that he hovers over me trying to tell me how to cook a meal so we buy him a cook book every Father's Day to help him with his knowledge of cooking skills

twinklenicci · 13/06/2017 20:22

My Dad THINKS he knows everything , which is quite frustrating, especially he he's harping on wrongly about something , which you know is wrong and he wont admit :)

Ikea1234 · 13/06/2017 20:32

My dad reads the Daily Mail, which apparently is gospel, so that means he knows absolutely everything......yeah right.

LeeR1985 · 13/06/2017 20:49

My old man likes to think he knows everything but really doesn't. Any time he has a question related to technology, he tries to guess how it works or how to fix it and is always wrong!!

IonaAilidh11 · 13/06/2017 21:39

my dad apparently knows everything!

Flickabella36 · 13/06/2017 21:40

My dad is so bad at DIY but insists he knows how to do it! He spends ages banging crashing and swearing before giving in and asking for help! Of course the instructions are always wrong and bits are missing!! 😂😂

pfcpompeysarah · 13/06/2017 21:55

My stepdad (my dad passed away years ago) always seems to think its okay to leave things until the last minute and it all goes pear-shaped, or he will claim to know the way to a particular place but we then have a tendency to get lost, but he is fab in every other way so I can live with it!!

stefalfie11 · 13/06/2017 22:16

My dad thinks he knows everything there is to know about every topic! No point arguing with him either because you will lose Grin

sbruin1122 · 13/06/2017 22:17

the answer is always in the toolbox lol!

Sleepysausage · 13/06/2017 22:35

My husband is great with roads and is brilliant at route planning. He's a great travel partner, he knows all the best ways to avoid traffic jams

cluckyhen · 13/06/2017 22:50

My dad was amazing. He was involved with scouting from a young age and he was a font of knowledge that everyone looked up to. There wasn't much he didn't have a clue about and i am so grateful that he taught me all the practicalities that many girls didn't know in my era

KittyKat88 · 13/06/2017 23:09

My hubby loves to be the font of all knowledge for out girls! He's quick at doing sneaky google searches whenever they ask questions and they are always amazed at how quickly he answers all their questions! Shock

lhlee62 · 13/06/2017 23:20

My dad is really old school and thinks that he knows best about everything, to be fair he does know a lot!

Sid98 · 13/06/2017 23:45

My husband think he knows how to fix everything
