Christmas morning is a time full of excitement and anticipation; especially for children excited about the gifts they’ve been left, but also for parents eager to see their children enjoy them. Mega Bloks would like you to tell them about your feelings once you’re watching your children play with their new toys on Christmas Day.

So, whether you usually feel completely captivated by your children’s happiness or you’re just glad that the shopping for the day is finally over with for another year, share your feelings below.

Here’s what Mega Bloks has to say: “Every parent wants what's best for their children: they want to build them up. And so does Mega Bloks.
Mega Bloks inspires little builders from as young as 12 months to discover, learn and have fun. It does this through endless construction play which encourages children to experiment with colours, letters, numbers, patterns and more."

All those who post a comment below sharing their feelings when watching their children play with their gifts on Christmas Day will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 ToysRUs voucher.

This is really the first Christmas that DS will be actively opening presents and getting excited about his new toys - I can't wait! He's already got some presents round the tree and has opened 2 already so now knows the parcels have something interesting inside and keeps asking to open them. Last year it was a warm and fuzzy feeling seeing our new little one trying to take all the new things in but this year I think it'll be even better!

hungryhungryhippos · 17/12/2016 21:12

My son is only 1 so I think I am going to be more excited than him when he opens his presents!

Purplehonesty · 17/12/2016 21:37

It makes me want to cry when I see them open the gift they really wanted and be so happy with it.
Last year dd (3) wanted a baby bath - that was all. I got a doll and a sponge too.
She unwrapped it, yelled yeahhhhh and went straight into the bathroom and bathed her dolls. She didn't care about anything else.
I did cry that day it was so cute.

I absolutely love watching the sheer delight on my child's face when he comes in the living room and sees the unopened presents,he's 3.5 so was only 2.5 last year but he was so extremely grateful for all the gifts and was so polite when opening them that I was filled with pride. He's a kind hearted boy full of energy and seeing him so happy brought a tear to my eye

My dd never really asks for anything so it's always a relief when she is thrilled with what I have chosen for herSmile

Jayfee · 17/12/2016 22:40

When I get surprise gifts right, I always feel specially chuffed.

shivermytimbers · 17/12/2016 22:44

The joy on their faces when they realise that Santa has been!

Anononoo · 17/12/2016 22:55

I love it. I love to see their joy and excitement. Nothing better,

Normally there's a general feeling of do our children know how bloody lucky they are. Then we start the champagne and I don't care much after that as long as they're happy and keep themselves occupied with the new stuff.

GiraffesAndButterflies · 18/12/2016 08:04

Relief that they liked it
General satisfaction at giving them pleasure
Hope that they will play independently a bit and the rest of us can drink cook the lunch Grin

BeeMyBaby · 18/12/2016 09:07

It's lovely watching them unwrap presents, but I try to make sure they only unwrap one every couple of hours as this makes it last longer and means they appreciate each individual present rather than not really paying attention and getting confused with their sisters things (as they are usually very similar)

toptoe · 18/12/2016 10:32

Joy to see them enjoy what we've worked so hard to get them.

redtrailer · 18/12/2016 12:09

Normally puzzlement wondering where the lost present got to.... always one!!

AskMeAgainTomorrow · 18/12/2016 14:07

Absolute relief if I've got it right and bought the right thing Xmas Confused

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 18/12/2016 15:05

I love to see their faces once they've unwrapped their present (and I've wrestled off all the packaging, wires and screws holding it in a vice like grip in shrink wrapped plastic.) Grin

I am so very happy - I love Christmas and I love to see them having a great time - love them so much x

TracyKNixon · 18/12/2016 17:40

I love watching my kids when they open their pressies - it brings back childhood memories of my own and I feel like a big kid again and cannot wait to play with their new toys too! I must admit, there are some toys I buy because I would love to play with them too lol! My daughters dolls house and my sons Star Wars Lego set are two examples! Hee hee!

essexchic · 18/12/2016 17:43

I feel happy and proud, all the stress leading up to xmas is worth it when you see them playing.

Ganne1 · 18/12/2016 17:43

Pride and pleasure if we've chosen the right balance of fun and education

andywedge · 18/12/2016 17:46

I love it, I'm not a fan of Christmas but my kids make me a fan of Christmas

CMOTDibbler · 18/12/2016 17:46

Christmas is pretty low key for us - there'll be just the three of us, and only presents from me and dh. But I love ds's glee at getting things he wanted, and his happiness at giving out the presents to each of us.

blondie123c · 18/12/2016 17:48

It really is the best part of Christmas for me, fills me with great happiness.

linasi · 18/12/2016 17:50

Oh where so I start?

Well the gifts they have specifically asked for I have satisfaction at making their faces light up that Mummy has sourced it for her... I'm bedbound so can't traipse through shops and have to do everything online you see...so these days it is a LOT easier than before I can tell you lol....

For the giraffe that I have chosen based on their interests I feel joy that the gifts they Didn't Realise They Wanted Til Now have made them so happy.

Love Christmas 🎄

linasi · 18/12/2016 17:51

Um gifts not giraffe 😂😂😂

alsproject · 18/12/2016 17:53

I feel relief and then joy when my son opens his presents and play with his gifts as it shows that he likes what we got him
