Fairy Non Bio is sponsoring the Mumsnet Talk App and in light of this they’d like to see what you have to talk about when it comes to your household washing schedule. Do you manage to get by on just a couple of loads a week or do four a day just to keep up with your kids? Perhaps you’re lucky enough to be able to send it all away to be done for you? Do you have a set day for each kind of washing load or just shove things in as they look like they might need doing? Whatever your washing schedule, let Fairy Non Bio know by sharing in a post below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “Fairy Non Bio is good for anyone who wants a softer, more sensitive wash (that still leaves clothes clean!). Its gentle formula promises to be kind to both your clothes and your skin, and so it’s suitable for the whole family, no matter how many washes you’re doing each week.”

So, alongside the Fairy Non Bio sponsorship of the Mumsnet Talk App, they’d like you to talk about the washing schedule your household has. If you avidly check out Mumsnet's talk boards, you should download the app for yourself. It's free, and allows you to be part of the conversation wherever you are!

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks, and good luck with the prize draw!

About 6. 3 of bedding and towels. 2/3 for clothes. Usually 2 coloured, 1 whites. But DS is now needing his own separate wash to get teenaged boy whiff out of his clothing. So, extra hot and more powerful detergent.

cocochips · 18/12/2016 20:27

About 5

MORGIE52 · 18/12/2016 20:28

fayesmummy · 18/12/2016 20:28

9 or 10. There are 5, 2 adults 3 children. Uniforms, bedding, PE and swimming kits etc.. plus my husband works in a kitchen so his clothes need a good wash!

jmszel · 18/12/2016 20:29

Minimum here is 3 nappy washes, 1 bedding wash, 7 mixed washes a week. Quite often its a few more than that though

becsmatthews · 18/12/2016 20:30

lhlee62 · 18/12/2016 20:46

There are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids and I would say at least 4-5 loads a week. I would say slightly less in the holidays as we don't have any uniform to wash, school or work uniform.

dadshere · 18/12/2016 20:48

We do at least one coloured, one whites and one bed lined each week. Sometimes more

renas · 18/12/2016 20:49

SofiePendragon · 18/12/2016 20:55

I do 3 loads of dd's nappies a week, 1 darks, 1 lights and 1 towels/bedding etc

sm2012 · 18/12/2016 20:56

I have three children and on average I do about 3 loads of washing a week. Although it feels like more as we constantly have the airer up at the moment, much prefer washing in the summer when it can all go out on the line!

pfcpompeysarah · 18/12/2016 20:56

I probably do about 4/5 loads a week, sometimes extra if I am doing bedding/towels and things that need special care... I never worry about separating by colour though, I just stick it all in together and so far I have been lucky!!

feefeegabor · 18/12/2016 20:56

Probably about six - and there's only three of us and I have a large drum machine.

littleme96 · 18/12/2016 20:59

About 3 or 4 loads a week here - I tend to bung everything in together, except sheets and towels which get washed on a higher temperature.

JoJoBaldwin · 18/12/2016 21:04

About 6 a week, the washing machine always seems to be on!

beeelaine · 18/12/2016 21:05

aaaah only 3 of us but the man gets so mucky at work so each week there is Man's Workwear (grubby stuff), bedding which is king size and a single, Colours, whites and underwear and towels and lastly the handwash that i rinse and spin in a little 80's spinning machine. 5 different machine loads a week - but we have one of those big 12kg machines and it weighs the load to keep the water amount economical etc - some loads are full and others half/two thirds. In summer i wait for a full load but in winter i just do it every week otherwise its a pain trying to dry everything!
