Fairy Non Bio is sponsoring the Mumsnet Talk App and in light of this they’d like to see what you have to talk about when it comes to your household washing schedule. Do you manage to get by on just a couple of loads a week or do four a day just to keep up with your kids? Perhaps you’re lucky enough to be able to send it all away to be done for you? Do you have a set day for each kind of washing load or just shove things in as they look like they might need doing? Whatever your washing schedule, let Fairy Non Bio know by sharing in a post below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “Fairy Non Bio is good for anyone who wants a softer, more sensitive wash (that still leaves clothes clean!). Its gentle formula promises to be kind to both your clothes and your skin, and so it’s suitable for the whole family, no matter how many washes you’re doing each week.”

So, alongside the Fairy Non Bio sponsorship of the Mumsnet Talk App, they’d like you to talk about the washing schedule your household has. If you avidly check out Mumsnet's talk boards, you should download the app for yourself. It's free, and allows you to be part of the conversation wherever you are!

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks, and good luck with the prize draw!

About 10 loads a week. Me, DH, toddler and newborn. It's relentless!!

marshgirl · 18/12/2016 21:07

I try to get most of my washing done through the weekdays as I have enough to be getting on with at the weekend. I average about 7 washes a week, 5 on weekdays and 2 at the weekend, mainly because of school uniform. I have two white washes and 5 dark washes.

stefalfie11 · 18/12/2016 21:08

We wash 3 loads a week, 2 for clothes and one for bedding.

ozbird1 · 18/12/2016 21:09

Usually 4

mixture of 2 x whites
1 x towels
1 x darks - sometimes 2

Clairemike21 · 18/12/2016 21:11

House of 5 I do 7 loads a week

grandee2 · 18/12/2016 21:16

It works out 3-4 loads a week except those weeks I get my grandson to bring down his washing and it jumps up a couple of loads. Then of course when I change his bedding and find all those socks the average goes up again. Am I the most disorganised person, no please don't answer that.

taz10 · 18/12/2016 21:17

about 4or5 a couple of mixed washes 1or2 whites and a bunch of towels

RiSo · 18/12/2016 21:27

Probably about 6 or 7 a week, there are 5 of us in the house though, and my husband has to have clean uniform every day. I don't wash every day, I try to do it around the weather or if it is raining how much wet clothes I have already hanging around.

xcxcsophiexcxc · 18/12/2016 21:29

I do about four but I have a little one on the way in feb so I bet that's going to increase to atleast several times a day x

Annimousey · 18/12/2016 21:29

We're a house of two adults and two young children. We do about 3 loads a week, but it'll be more now we have a new washing machine!

kamaxtra · 18/12/2016 21:34

3 - 4 total per week

mamof3boys · 18/12/2016 21:35

I do all of the washing over a weekend and probably do about 10 loads in total. There's me, my husband and our three boys and they seem to go through a ridiculous amount of clothes. By the time I've finished ironing it all on a Sunday night my laundry basket is almost full again.

fazkin · 18/12/2016 21:40

I have one mixed and one white load every week. Every other week I also have two more loads for the bed linen

Sid98 · 18/12/2016 21:45

6-7 loads a day

Liquorice13 · 18/12/2016 21:45

About 10 loads each week

Vanillafox · 18/12/2016 21:47

7 - one a day

spottypjs · 18/12/2016 21:58

Probably about 3/4

Nicabo22 · 18/12/2016 21:59

I probably wash 4-5 times a week being a family of 4. I work with bodily fluids so have to do a separate hot wash for my stuff once a week then being terrible I don't separate colours whites or darks it all juat goes in together when I have enough for a load.

melonpanini · 18/12/2016 22:00

I have a 10kg capacity washing machine and I do about 4 loads a week.

Bellroyd · 18/12/2016 22:04

Just the two for us. To many people wash their clothes too often.

Annieg1234 · 18/12/2016 22:07

we do

1x whites
3x darks
1x towels

i really hate doing the laundry when its too cold or wet outside to dry it!

MrsDramaQueen · 18/12/2016 22:14

I feel like I am forever doing washing. I do 4-5 loads a week if not more. I don't have a regular day for washing, just do it as when it's needed.

Stevens4 · 18/12/2016 22:14

We do 3 white loads a week and 4-5 dark washes a week I put it on in the morning and the hubby racks it or puts it out on the line and because we have a downstairs bathroom and are blessed with underfloor heating…..bliss, the clothes go on a rack during the winter months dries lovely overnight, or if it is dry and windy even during the winter chuck it on the line and then radiators to air off. Having written it down it really makes me wonder where it really does come from and I’m starting to think kids are bringing home their friends clothes to wash as well.

ememem84 · 18/12/2016 22:16

Just dh & me.

1x towels
1x bedding

Then maybe a load every other day. Split into darks and lights.

feeona123 · 18/12/2016 22:18

Probably do about 5 loads a week! It's a nightmare at the mo as we don't have a tumble dryer so am drying in the bathroom, so we have to wait till one lot is dry before can wash some more!

No set days, just when it needs to be done!
