With Christmas around the corner, Homebase wants to know all about your festive favourites and the seasonal must-haves you just can’t live without.

Would Christmas without a tree not be Christmas at all? Have your baubles got to be a certain colour to fit in with the rest of the décor? And is there only one style of lighting you could ever have in your home?

Whatever’s essential to you this Christmas, visit homebase.co.uk and post a link below to the products you just can’t live without - and tell us why.

So for a chance to win a £300 Homebase voucher, simply take the survey and add a comment below.

Thanks and good luck,

The Turkey, I know lots of people do have something else but it wouldn't feel the same for me.

Has to be the good ole kettle. When Christmas shopping is getting to much and life is stressful there's nothing better than a cuppa!

Rachdayan · 27/11/2016 20:29

Christmas dinner. It just wouldn't be Christmas without a roast dinner with all the trimmings. Nothing else would do to replace that.

IamHappy1976 · 27/11/2016 20:51

Batteries. Fairy lights. And a small toy dog with a Santa hat who has adventures a la elf on the shelf!

I always get some funky new glasses for the table at Christmas and these are really pretty and fun!

I couldn't give up ensuring all my decs match. Literally brings me out in a cold sweat if i see a xmas tree with multi coloured baubles lol Even my lights match. This year i have a blue tree with blue and teal baubles and blue lights. My ceiling decorations are all blue and teal.

mamof3boys · 27/11/2016 21:21

Fairy lights. I love all the twinkling lights, and the more the better on the tree as far as I'm concerned. It just wouldn't be Christmas without them.

Maclairey · 27/11/2016 21:27

I couldnt not have a real Christmas tree. The smell of the Christmas tree when you come down every morning over Christmas is amazing! You couldnt pay me enough to have a plastic one and lose that authentic Christmas smell!

non twinkly warm light fairy lights by the hundreds, and pine boughs to make the house smell nice

KarenCBC · 27/11/2016 22:02

I've had the same stocking since I was a small child. That sense of tradition really means Christmas to me. I have a two year old and hope that his stocking stays with him for as long as mine has but I'm also heavily pregnant and expecting soon and so a new stocking for my newborn is the one thing I can't get through Christmas without. This knitted version is gorgeous!:

A tree with colour co-ordination and a few of the children's handmade ornaments!!

feeona123 · 27/11/2016 22:33

It has to be Christmas lights, I don't mind what colour just as long as I have lots of them!

HerRoyalFattyness · 27/11/2016 22:35

My mum. I don't know how I would manage Christmas without her.

fifimummy · 27/11/2016 22:43

Honestly??
I want to say songs blaring as we wrap the presents & talk about what we are thankful for ...whilst looking at my beautiful kids....
The reality is a HUGE selection of stinky cheese & biscuits & a cheeky cider when the kiddies have gone to bed Grin
