With Christmas around the corner, Homebase wants to know all about your festive favourites and the seasonal must-haves you just can’t live without.

Would Christmas without a tree not be Christmas at all? Have your baubles got to be a certain colour to fit in with the rest of the décor? And is there only one style of lighting you could ever have in your home?

Whatever’s essential to you this Christmas, visit homebase.co.uk and post a link below to the products you just can’t live without - and tell us why.

So for a chance to win a £300 Homebase voucher, simply take the survey and add a comment below.

Thanks and good luck,

I have some baubles on the tree that my parents had when I was a child and some baubles my now adult children made at playgroup.

Have to have a poinsettia www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/red-poinsettia-in-pot-370259

libra101 · 27/11/2016 11:52

I love to have fresh lovely houseplants in the home, especially at Christmas.

The Poinsettia symbolises the festive season, with its bright, cheerful foliage, and welcoming appearance.

Homebase always have a great selection of plants at competitive prices, and I will be calling in at our local Southport store, to pick up the premium Poinsettia, among other decorations.

We need a new set of lights for our tree and the brilliant white seems to be good for us:

I wouldn't be without a special Santa sack to put all my daughter's pressies in www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/stocking-fillers/no-peeking-til-christmas-santa-sack-372308 or that extra-special wrapping paper for my husband's gifts www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/blue-and-silver-luxury-wrapping-paper-378176

forgetmenotta · 27/11/2016 15:48

It wouldn't be Christmas for me without a tree and beautiful baubles www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/heirloom-glass-baubles-18-pack-371204 for each years memory but I adore this majestic stag that could adorn my mantelpiece and be adored by my children. www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/jumbo-silver-glitter-stag-369948 and the beautiful www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/pink-lustre-champagne-glass-370799 for the Christmas table toast.

love this door garland made of pinecones looks so pretty for christmas

Ikea1234 · 27/11/2016 16:42

Yes, my Christmas decorations have to all be black and white. Yes, I am the ONLY one who knows how to put the baubles on the tree correctly. Yes, my table has to all be co-ordinated in black and grey, with matching cutlery, wine glasses and tableware. Yes, my wrapping paper has to all be co-ordinated with the bows, wrapped with invisible tape and matching tags.

And yes, I am just a little OCD! 😃

My Christmas decorations, Its just not Christmas with out the shining star that cheery Santa you sit on the fire the place, the wooden house that's lights up that is topped with snow on its roof, the tinsel and not forgetting the mistletoe.

VelvetThunder · 27/11/2016 19:12

With two small ones they love watching the lights and are fascinated by them. This would look so pretty hanging up.
