With Christmas around the corner, Homebase wants to know all about your festive favourites and the seasonal must-haves you just can’t live without.

Would Christmas without a tree not be Christmas at all? Have your baubles got to be a certain colour to fit in with the rest of the décor? And is there only one style of lighting you could ever have in your home?

Whatever’s essential to you this Christmas, visit homebase.co.uk and post a link below to the products you just can’t live without - and tell us why.

So for a chance to win a £300 Homebase voucher, simply take the survey and add a comment below.

Thanks and good luck,

Candles...LOTS of them! I have them lit every evening. I've started investing in soy ones though, for the sake of health.

The essential has to be batteries and cleaning products for all those spills that always happen with a house full of people

moosexxx · 26/11/2016 21:08

Christmas decorations, and a turkey with all the trimmings.
And a tub of sweets!

We have these in our living room in a pretty mosaic style metallic vase, it looks so pretty and instantly makes the room so much cosier when they are turned on.

Maybe a not very exciting answer, but I just love lots of little white fairy lights draped around (not just on the tree).

I really love the light up penguin family here www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/light-up-penguin-family-370949 but cant really justify paying that amount just before christmas

LeeR1985 · 26/11/2016 22:54

  • Without these plastic storage boxes my house would miss order and organization. Love only the version with secured lid.
