Fairy Non Bio is sponsoring the Mumsnet Talk App and wants to hear about the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. Maybe they’re 10 and still suck their thumb, or your teenagers tantrum like they’re toddlers? Do your kids refuse to cuddle you in front of their friends but need a hug in the night when they’ve had a bad dream? Perhaps they cry when they’re tired or want to cuddle up with their favourite blanket in front of the TV?

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say “Fairy Non Bio is good for anyone who wants a softer, more sensitive wash (that still leaves clothes clean!). Its gentle formula promises to be kind to both your clothes and your skin. Fairy Non Bio believes in the power of softness, and the strength that comes with showing your softer side.”

So, to celebrate the Fairy Non Bio sponsorship of the Mumsnet Talk App, they’d like you share the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. If you avidly check out Mumsnet's talk boards, you should download the app for yourself. It's free, and allows you to be part of the conversation wherever you are!

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

when my 4 year old is playing with his 1 year old brother...he can go from bigger boy to baby again in a matter of seconds (as long as he thinks mummy and daddy have not seen)

omgitslani · 14/11/2016 22:41

When they are poorly or tired you can definitely see them acting younger than they are. I get more cuddles for sure! Even they way they talk, like how they structure their sentences can make them seem like toddlers again!

MrsFrTedCrilly · 14/11/2016 23:10

On cold days walking to school a freezing cold hand will slip into my pocket along with my own, just like when he was little. By the time we've reached the school gate there is sufficient warmth to ditch me😄

redbook · 15/11/2016 10:03

My DS (3) has long passed the baby stage (sob), but every now and then he wants to be a baby and asks if he can be. So he crawls around, speaking baby talk and doing baby things. I think he sees babies around him getting lots of cuddles, getting away with more and generally having an easier life so he wants to regress!

grannybiker · 15/11/2016 10:21

Always when they're poorly!
Otherwise, just when they fancy some TLC from Mum

linkypie1976 · 15/11/2016 11:52

My 17 year old showed me the baby in her when she was unwell and all she wanted was to snuggle down with her mummy and watch tv.

Bicnod · 15/11/2016 12:39

DS2 (5) shows me the baby in him every evening when, having rampaged though his day with fierce independence, he wants me to lie down next to him on his bed as he is about to fall asleep, wraps all his limbs around me, snuggles up tight and says 'I wish we could stay like this forever...'

Me too baby boy, me too

rachaelsit · 15/11/2016 13:52

My eldest son (3) is baby ish a lot now he has a new baby brother - wants Carried like a baby, wants milk at night again! I humour him Smile

Pinkangel23 · 15/11/2016 14:17

My DS-nearly 8 still sucks his 2 middle fingers when he's tired just like he did when he was a baby/toddler. Also if he's watching In the Night Gardeb with his baby sister he seems to revert back to toddler age!

VioletRoar · 15/11/2016 14:48

Reading these had made me smile.

I like it when my 8yo watches peppa pig "for the baby" (who's generally wandered off bored)

Also ds1 is 11, too cool for hugs but asks for a "hand squeeze" every night before bed

EscapeFromHubby · 15/11/2016 15:27

I took my very grown up 16 yr old to Disneyland Paris last month and she turned into a little kid again when she saw all her favourite characters!

Theimpossiblegirl · 15/11/2016 18:05

My DDs are 13 and 15 and consider themselves to be very grown up.
I love the fact that they still want to be snuggled in every night (apart from sleepovers, that would be pushing it).

unadulterateddad · 15/11/2016 19:36

when my DS (10) is asleep he still makes the little sighs he's made since he was a baby. I used to love sitting in his room when he was a baby listening to him make these happy little noises

Disabrie22 · 15/11/2016 23:48

When my oldest jumps to hug me like I've gone a million years when I arrive home after a 20 min shopping trip!

FeelTheNoise · 16/11/2016 01:07

When my DS, in his late teens, has a really good shift at work and he's all bright eyed and bushy tailed when he's telling me all about it :) just like when he was younger telling me about his day at school

FourKidsNotCrazyYet · 16/11/2016 04:52

I have a huge roll of carpet currently sat in the hallway. My husband works abroad and it's far too heavy to lift. Anyway my two younger boys have been having so much fun playing on it. Balancing, making obstacle courses around it etc. My daughter is nearly 17 and very into her horse, with sadly little time for her younger brothers. Last night I could hear them all chatting away and laughing, I come down to find DD balancing and ballet spinning like a 5 year old, smiling and laughing without a care in the world. I sat and watched them for a while. It was beautiful!

My son is 11 and started secondary school last September.
He now thinks he's jack the peanut, with his new friends.
The other night he was being a little cheeky, so I told me I was going to send a video of him sleeping to his friends,
He still has a teddy bin his bed.
He then went and got the teddy and said he doesn't want it and headed to the bin.
Later that evening I found the teddy hidden in a kitchen cupboard .
I simply placed it back in his and no more was said.Smile

ThomasRichard · 16/11/2016 10:29

DS is nearly 7 and 'a big boy' who is outraged when I try to kiss him goodnight but when he's asleep he looks positively angelic and so much younger.

HerRoyalFattyness · 16/11/2016 11:08

My son is 8 and still sleeps with the teddy he's had since birth. He will also hold my hand in the street if he's feeling upset and wants a bit of reassurance.
But he won't kiss me goodbye in front of his friends in the mornings.

KnottedAnchorChief · 16/11/2016 12:56

My son is very keen to be seen as grown up and a 'big boy' at nearly 8. He still has his cuddly dog every night at bed time though. This was his baby toy and although he has never shown any interest in any other soft toy, his doggy at bed time is absolutely essential.

atupri · 16/11/2016 15:01

When my 6 years old DS start to talk like a baby or make a tantrum after school.

badgermum · 16/11/2016 15:05

My oldest boy was about 13 at the time and I had washed his bedding and moved his soft toys off of the end of his bed but hadnt put them back as I was going to put them away in a drawer as he was getting too old for soft toys now he's into video games and music, anyway after he'd gone to bed I heard him calling for me n a panic I rushed to his room to find him quite upset that his 'bears' had gone, I quickly replaced them and all was well again

Sammyislost · 16/11/2016 16:53

We watched a slightly scary film at halloween, and of course, it totally threw the children when the light went off at bedtime, and the shadows became creatures of the imaginations and they came running out of the room demanding we left the door open and the landing light on! Bless them :)

Tonkatol · 16/11/2016 18:01

I have a scar on the upper inside of my arm - when dd was a baby, she used to pinch it when she was feeding or I was rocking her to sleep. She is 10 now but if she gets tired or is unwell, she will cuddle up on my lap and her fingers search for my scar and she starts pinching it.

Patriciathestripper1 · 16/11/2016 19:53

When my 9 year old had a friend home for a play date she ran upstairs to hide her peppa pig videos and baby dolls before the friend saw them!!
