Fairy Non Bio is sponsoring the Mumsnet Talk App and wants to hear about the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. Maybe they’re 10 and still suck their thumb, or your teenagers tantrum like they’re toddlers? Do your kids refuse to cuddle you in front of their friends but need a hug in the night when they’ve had a bad dream? Perhaps they cry when they’re tired or want to cuddle up with their favourite blanket in front of the TV?

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say “Fairy Non Bio is good for anyone who wants a softer, more sensitive wash (that still leaves clothes clean!). Its gentle formula promises to be kind to both your clothes and your skin. Fairy Non Bio believes in the power of softness, and the strength that comes with showing your softer side.”

So, to celebrate the Fairy Non Bio sponsorship of the Mumsnet Talk App, they’d like you share the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. If you avidly check out Mumsnet's talk boards, you should download the app for yourself. It's free, and allows you to be part of the conversation wherever you are!

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

Mine is 4, when sits on my knee he 'sqidges' my chin and makes suckling shapes with his mouth. He's never had a comforter or dummy. He likes to use me as his comforter, and I love it too 😊

My DCs are a little older so i has been a while since they have had a babyish moment. But they always regress to being more child like and enjoying the simple things and games and building sand castles etc when we are on our holidays or at the beach which is so nice.

Elizasmum02 · 12/11/2016 23:37

my eldest is 14, she cant sleep without getting "tucked in"and i always have to say, there you go snug as a bug in a rug!

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 13/11/2016 08:38

Even though he is eight I love to go in a check on him and give him a kiss when I go to bed.
Sometimes I bug him too much or even deliberately that he stirs. He opens his eyes, smiles and throws his arms around me and immediately goes back to deep sleep. He never remembers these times but I do and they are precious to me in a time where I feel that I can hardly keep up with the pace he is growing up. Funny really that I used to feel overwhelmed by all the hugs he wanted! Time flies too quickly.

90% of the time my 3 year old thinks he has the abilities of an 8 year old - try telling him off though and it will be "I'm tiiiiiiiired" or "I need a cuuuuuuudle" in a tone that makes it sound like he's never been cuddled his whole life.

DS1 and DS2 are older teens but when we visit my nephews they have fun playing with their lego sets and sometimes end up bickering over who gets the best pieces.

doctorboo · 13/11/2016 13:17

I've got 3 boys; aged 5, 3 and 18 months.
My 5 year old is determined to be a big boy and wants to do everything himself (he also wants to be the 'boss') he's like this from the moment he wakes up, right up until bedtime - when without fail he snuggled under our cosy blanket with me on the sofa and have his hair stroked until it's story time in his 'big boys' bunk bed. I love it ❤️

FeelingSmurfy · 13/11/2016 13:56

Definitely when they are ill, even as an adult I want my mum when I'm not well!

Doodygirl2009 · 13/11/2016 14:34

When my four year old son smiles he looks like his step brother

milliemoon · 13/11/2016 17:37

When my boy is poorly he likes me to tickle the palm of his hand like when he was a baby

My 13 year old daughter (who is usually full of attitude) had to have some teeth extracted under general anaesthetic. She was very brave and cool about the procedure (much braver than I felt) and went in all cocksure.
After the procedure, I was called in to collect her from the recovery bay. She was very drowsy and in an anaesthetic/painkiller haze. She cried out excitedly, "Ahhh it's my mummy, give me a hug", then was saying "mum, mum you're so beautiful I love you".
I felt really emotional, it's not a side of her we see much anymore.

Maclairey · 13/11/2016 20:39

My nearly 4 year old comes into my bed every single night because "he needs me". To be fair, he is like this with a lot of stuff, has always been a mummy's boy, bless him. Upsets daddy sometimes though.

summerainbow · 13/11/2016 21:18

When my 25 year comes home with the news he has to have 1st filling. Lots of cuddles needed.

lhlee62 · 13/11/2016 23:00

When my 4.5 yr old is asleep she still has her baby blanket and she sucks her thumb to settle. It takes me back to when she was tiny.

itshappenedagain · 13/11/2016 23:04

My ds is 10, when he's worried about something he climbs in my knee. Just the same as he always has from being a baby, the only problem now is that's he's not much shorter than me so it's a bit like holding a large sack of potatoes!

LittleMoonbuggy · 14/11/2016 08:50

When she's feeling unwell, all she wants is to curl up on the sofa snuggled next to me. She never otherwise asks for me to sit next to her.

timeforabrewnow · 14/11/2016 10:56

I have an 11 year old - first year at secondary school - but still thinks a baby voice will get her what she wants....doesn't work, but we have a laugh about it.

Strawclutching · 14/11/2016 11:34

When my 3 year old only wants a cuddle from me.

stealthsquiggle · 14/11/2016 12:22

My taller-than-me 14yo still wants to snuggle on the sofa with me in the evening, especially if he is feeling insecure. The sofa is getting crowded but I seldom complain as I know how much I will miss it when he doesn't want to any more.

sherbetpips · 14/11/2016 14:10

my cool as a cucumber 12 year old who from the day he started school would not let me kiss him goodbye at the the school gate cannot go to sleep without a long snuggled in cuddle and a nonsense chit-chat with mum and dad. Also if no-one is about and we are out somewhere together I can sneak in a little hand holding.....

Firewall · 14/11/2016 15:34

When my 6 year old has his cuddle mummy time before bed

Doobydoo · 14/11/2016 18:01

When ds1 was 14 is now 17. Chased ds2 who was 7 now 9 round the house with light sabres....despite repeated 'it will end in tears' type warnings. Ds1 broke his big toe and cried and cried.......I was even able to cuddle him! Xx

Doobydoo · 14/11/2016 18:02

No idea why i put xx on end Confused

jocstoke · 14/11/2016 20:54

When my daughter was born my son reverted back to babyhood at times, crawling around saying goo goo gaa gaa!
