Fairy Non Bio is sponsoring the Mumsnet Talk App and wants to hear about the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. Maybe they’re 10 and still suck their thumb, or your teenagers tantrum like they’re toddlers? Do your kids refuse to cuddle you in front of their friends but need a hug in the night when they’ve had a bad dream? Perhaps they cry when they’re tired or want to cuddle up with their favourite blanket in front of the TV?

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say “Fairy Non Bio is good for anyone who wants a softer, more sensitive wash (that still leaves clothes clean!). Its gentle formula promises to be kind to both your clothes and your skin. Fairy Non Bio believes in the power of softness, and the strength that comes with showing your softer side.”

So, to celebrate the Fairy Non Bio sponsorship of the Mumsnet Talk App, they’d like you share the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. If you avidly check out Mumsnet's talk boards, you should download the app for yourself. It's free, and allows you to be part of the conversation wherever you are!

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

When they're poorly and they ask me to wash their hair xx

At 4 years old my son still sleeps in the position he was in in the womb... when I was getting towards the end of my pregnancy with him, the midwives could never quite work out which way up he was or what was what! A late ultatrasound scan taken for other reasons revealed he had adopted a sort of flat frog position, head down with his legs folded either side of him and his bum sticking up. He often slept like this as a baby (not that surprising) but still, at 4, resorts to this position automatically and I often find him like this half way down the bed in the morning. It seems even at this age he sometimes seeks the security of the womb..

It's usually when they think they're in trouble, or have made a bad decision. They look to me for hugs and encouragement.

Also when they're I'll, and want soup and Buttercup Syrup Smile

When they have arguments with their friends.

vonniebab2 · 10/11/2016 08:31

when they are not feeling well lots of love and hugs

When he's curled up asleep with his soft toy moose - it was in his cot from the day he was born - it was a gift from his auntie from her trip America and he's kept it so that always reminds me of his baby days.

The little one when she is tired throws babyish tantrums, similarly to when she was a toddler

southernsun · 10/11/2016 08:54

Our eldest still slept with the muslin squares he had as a baby up until just before his 7th birthday.

jandoc · 10/11/2016 09:01

on the odd occasion when he curls up next to me to watch tv

When I had my baby my oldest child aged 7 started to revert back to baby like behaviour. He would ask to be carried up to bed at night, ask for warm milk and wanted to know if we could buy him an all in one suit like his little brother wears, wanted baby snacks such as Farley's rusks.I figured my eldest needed lot's of extra love.

SSCRASE123 · 10/11/2016 09:14

My Lad will without fail start reverting to almost babylike behaviour when he sees his younger sister getting a cuddle or being held.

lizd31 · 10/11/2016 09:14

Well I don't know about seeing the baby in the bigger kids but I can definitely see it in me. I'm the biggest, bounciest baby you'll ever see. It made my nephew howl laughing.

I had hoped one of my DC would have grown out of it, but he still reacts rather childishly to my husband's teasing him

gamerwidow · 10/11/2016 09:27

My Dd (6) always wants to be independent but she can't resist a cuddle when she's tired or poorly. It's nice to still be needed to offer comfort.

ama6270 · 10/11/2016 09:29

My teenager when tired still loves a hug from me, we have to have the throw on us if we are on the sofa and pulled up under our chins or the duvet if we are in bed, mind you it isn't as comfy in the bed now she isn't a baby , but wouldn't change our precious togetherness time for the world

happysouls · 10/11/2016 09:31

When my son was growing up he still liked to have his hair and back stroked just like a baby being soothed off to sleep...but then who doesn't eh?!

CMOTDibbler · 10/11/2016 09:34

My big, smelly, 10 year old ds still wants to cuddle up in my bed and watch Scooby Doo when feeling a bit poorly. Its funny being snuggled up with someone so tall!

finleypop · 10/11/2016 09:37

My teenage son still sleeps with the teddy he has had since he was a baby.

kimbers85 · 10/11/2016 09:41

my 13 year old son calls me mammy when he wants something x

mo3733 · 10/11/2016 09:51

when my daughter had to go on a school trip which required an overnight stay i saw her fragility and nervousness at being separated from us for a night. it was heartbreaking but important that she went to improve her self confidence.

daisyswirl · 10/11/2016 10:02

My ds 2 who has just turned 21 still sleeps with his stuffed tog dog that he got when he was 8. It even goes on holiday with him! My dd 12 still holds my hand when we cross a road..she has aspergers and doesnt like to be touched so i treasure that. It really makes me miss when she was small and her little hand was in mine. Shes nearly as tall as me now though!

alsproject · 10/11/2016 10:16

My 5 year old sometimes just walks up to me and looks up at me with his arms outstreatched like he wants to be picked up

Annieg1234 · 10/11/2016 10:20

my two teens are 15 and 19. I constantly see the baby in them , the way they throw a strop when life dosent go their way and especially when they are unwell they still need mum to wrap them up in a duvet and give them some medicine and TLC. they never really stop needing their parents :)

hiddenmichelle · 10/11/2016 10:21

My 12 year old still insists on party bags at his birthday. We usually have a birthday treat with two other close friends of his and he would be devastated if the party bags were not there!
