Fairy Non Bio is sponsoring the Mumsnet Talk App and wants to hear about the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. Maybe they’re 10 and still suck their thumb, or your teenagers tantrum like they’re toddlers? Do your kids refuse to cuddle you in front of their friends but need a hug in the night when they’ve had a bad dream? Perhaps they cry when they’re tired or want to cuddle up with their favourite blanket in front of the TV?

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say “Fairy Non Bio is good for anyone who wants a softer, more sensitive wash (that still leaves clothes clean!). Its gentle formula promises to be kind to both your clothes and your skin. Fairy Non Bio believes in the power of softness, and the strength that comes with showing your softer side.”

So, to celebrate the Fairy Non Bio sponsorship of the Mumsnet Talk App, they’d like you share the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. If you avidly check out Mumsnet's talk boards, you should download the app for yourself. It's free, and allows you to be part of the conversation wherever you are!

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

My darling daughter is a mum herself but still reverts to being my little baby, especially at Christmas when we are all together in our PJ's and dressing gowns snuggled on the couch watching Christmas films, her favorites are still the same as when she was 2 and my grandson is following in her footsteps. It doesn't matter how old they are they are they are still our babies

rachelmi · 10/11/2016 18:01

Usually when they are very tired and/or unwell.( Afterall who doesn't despite your advancing years feel a need to regress once in a while!)

strawberrisc · 10/11/2016 18:12

My daughter has always been a wonderful, caring individual but was an utter nightmare, tantrum-wise, during the 'terrible twos'. Now she's into the second year of secondary school and she regularly morphs into a combination of Kevin the Teenager and Vicky Pollard. All the teachers "hate her", when she gets the behaviour points (that I can see online) it's NEVER her fault! "The whole class were talking" "they only pick on me" "why do they hate me". The tears, the clenching of fists, the screaming...it's like she's a toddler again. I wish I could fast-foward this bit (especially as she's not even a teenager until February!)

When my 8yo wakes up in the night cold and scared and climbs into my bed for cuddles and warming up. The rest of the time she makes out that she is a big girl Grin

PussCatTheGoldfish · 10/11/2016 19:20

When my 5 and 7 year old get into bed for a cuddle in the middle of the night. We've only a double bed and DH is a big guy so it gets very squashed now. Somehow they always coordinate and come in on the same night.

My daughter is at Uni, and last week she was very down. we spoke briefly and she finished by saying " I wish you were here with me mum ". I am not ashamed to say I cried and she reminded of so many times in her childhood when she needed supporting, but then bounced back to support me in turn

tooneedyme · 10/11/2016 20:01

We still have the baby shawl and when our 5 year old is poorly that's all that soothes him.

spottypjs · 10/11/2016 21:03

when they are poorly and they just want cuddles

ell5454 · 10/11/2016 21:09

He goes all floppy and wants a cuddle when he's tired

mumgonemad2 · 10/11/2016 21:19

Whenever our kids get tired they like to snuggle up with us and have us gently tickle their Bellies, legs and arms and they love a good back scratch. We all enjoy the downtime even if for only 2 minutes.

beckyinman · 10/11/2016 21:20

At really random moments that you wouldn't expect! Like getting a bad result in a test there are tears, but no issues with a broken bone.

littleme96 · 10/11/2016 21:21

When they are ill or have hurt themselves, they just want a kiss and a cuddle from Mummy or Daddy.

lolamia91 · 10/11/2016 21:23

when shes tired she comes and snuggles up

rennie1811 · 10/11/2016 21:57

my 9yo is still my baby, she loves her cuddles at night and first thing in the morning

kerryv · 10/11/2016 22:28

My 10 year old daughter still has the most amazing tantrums, foot stomping and all!

LeeR1985 · 10/11/2016 22:33

My daughter always comes over for a cuddle when she's sleepy. Reminds me of when she was a baby and would fall asleep in my arms :)

snapple21 · 10/11/2016 22:43

Definitely when they are poorly and want snuggles again!

My all time favourite moment like this was when DS met Father Christmas in Lapland. He was 12 at the time and most unimpressed by the trip (we surprised him and younger DD by waking them at the crack of dawn one morning).

As a cool, sophisticated nearly teen he made it clear that he did not want to be dragged to see Father Christmas, and only begrudgingly came along "for his sister". He maintained his grumpy campaign for most of the trip and was still sulking in the queue for FC. DH and I had given up by this point and concentrated on keeping DD excited, which was considerably easier Grin

Then we got to the front and were let into the grotto. I have to say it was very well done a really gorgeous cabin with an impressively believable looking Santa. DD adored it of course, but what brought a lump to my throats was DS's face. His grumpiness vanished and for just a brief moment, I saw one again, the little boy who believed in the magic of Christmas and was still a young child at heart.

cbruin111 · 10/11/2016 23:35

They still lick the bowl after pudding!

GruffaloPants · 10/11/2016 23:38

My five year old loves to be carried. The other day she asked me to rock her to sleep like a baby, though I couldn't oblige!

Imnotaslimjim · 10/11/2016 23:40

My 10yo DS will still sneak a kiss from me as we're walking to the school gate. Not in front of his friends of course but I still get a peck on the cheek and "love you mum" as he walks away acting all cool to go the last few yards with his class mates.

xcxcsophiexcxc · 11/11/2016 00:15

My 8 year old often copies is 3yr olds brothers behaviour and speaks in his baby voice when he's in a funny mood !

ftovey7 · 11/11/2016 06:55

When my eldest stills calls her dad "dada" when he gets home from work

bridge16 · 11/11/2016 09:25

My nearly 7 year old had to come home from school this week poorly. Its the first time i have seen him really need his mummy in a while and certainly as hes the oldest of 3 boys. He just wanted to snuggle up with me and watch a film and it was actually quite lovely to have that time with him (despite him feeling so rough)

phillie1 · 11/11/2016 10:41

when my 18 year old tells me she wants to revert back to the carefree days of primary school, as she is scared of making big decisions like Uni, a job etc etc
