Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons has just created a new tool where you can upload your favourite pictures and create your own personalised video to celebrate moments shared with your children.

Cadbury would love for you to try it out and create your own Memory Lane with the memories with your kids that you love. So, try out the memory lane tool, and share the link to your own memory lane, or tell us what you thought of the memory lane tool.

All those who either share the link to their memory lane or leave a comment on their experience with it will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £265 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks, and good luck with the prize draw!

Just to let you know that I've tried the memory lane tool and was very disappointed too. I thought the pictures were far too small, cropping some of the photo out and the 360 didn't work for me either.

I love the idea of linking Cadbury's with memories like this as it's getting back to the traditional brand we love. It was easy to make and quick upload, I like that it links with facebook, sweet idea but bigger pictures/ more freedom to move the photo so you get the right crop would be great :)

Oh I thought this was going to be memory lane as in let's all remember when Cadburys were made in the UK without palm oil and tasted delicious. Weeps

Came through quickly but I didn't think much of it, unfortunately. Waiting to see bits of photos I already have - why?! Might work better if it was more interactive e.g. Opening doors to find pictures - kids might enjoy that.

I love the idea, but it needs alot of work.
It didnt load my photos properly and cropped random parts out.
Sorry to say but Cadburys should stick to making good chocolate. This isn't something I'd use again

Easy to do but disappointing outcome. It would have been nice of the app had asked a little bit about each photo so that relevant info could have been used in the Memory Lane. I linked my Facebook account but it only gave me very limited pictures to chose from and when they were uploaded into the app they were too small to really see and most had been cropped and had heads missing.

Good idea but a lot of scope for improvement.

Seems a pointless tool to me, I thought it might be a nice little slideshow you could share on instagram or facebook. I made mine out of my daughter's 'firsts' and thought I might be able to caption them 'first steps' 'first birthday' etc.

I also didn't like the fact it didn't create it for your there and then, if you have the time to put the photos in you have the time to watch it as well but by the time the email comes through you are probably busy. Mine took an hour to arrive.

It also took forever to load and I just got a 'still' 360 view and wondered what it was all about as there isn't anything to show it loading, then I got a snippet of the music and it moved a little but stopped again. Our broadband isn't fibre optic but videos aren't normally that slow to load.

I also only wanted to put my daughter's name in not mine as I don't really feature in it but it wouldn't let me leave it blank.

Like others have said I can't really make the photos out, they were uploaded in high res but on the street they look blurry and are cropped.

I am so surprised at how awful this is for a big company like Cadbury!!

Received the link and followed the instructions. What a loads of rubbish could only see 2 photos and 1 of them was not very clear. Quite disappointing.

Good concept but images too small and cropping problematic.

I don't really see the point, as people have said the pictures are too small and the street scene is very clunky. The photos need to be the focus and it needs to be quicker to use. I wouldn't use it as I'd want something more personalised in its format if I was going to share photos on this way.

It's a cute little novelty but took alot of effort for something I'll probably never look at again.
Maybe a bit more work on making it more user friendly will pay off. Thankyou though

It's a great idea but there are issues with this.
Having it made instant instead would mean more people would use it, as waiting for a link makes it more of a faff.
The looped music was a bit annoying, maybe something more relaxing sounding would work better rather than this jangly tune.
My Internet connection is good but it kept buffering and didn't flow very well. The 360 worked but I couldn't zoom in or move along the lane. It was all so tiny I couldn't really make out what was written on the walls or see the pictures properly.
The pictures were cropped so my dd wasn't in most of the pictures!
As I have more than one child it would've been easier and more enjoyable to put them in at the same
Time rather than make two memory lanes.
Great idea though! Just needs a bit more work.

My email never came :/
I watched the example one though. I liked the music... The tool is ok for what it is, but like others have said the pictures are small.

Still waiting for mine to come through, I use moonpig for a lot of products ie cards, calendars. Moonpig show you instantly and have great and results.
This is a poor attempt technology these days is sooo much better. Instant photos/videos or whatever are easy to do... don't see what the faffing is all about on this one. Not impressed sorry

Great idea but probably needs a bit of tweaking as it wasn't great in practice. Would be willing to give it another go with version 2.

It was easy to use but the photos in finished result were too small and unclear for there to be any point using it. It would also be nice to be able to include multiple children in one video.

Mine wouldn't even load, not the text nor the email link! Waaah.

Doesn't sound particularly promising anyway. Keep trying til you get it right Cadbury 👍🏻

I like the idea of the promotion but I couldn't seem to find all of the photos: perhapssome were too small. It was a bit fiddly on my phone.

I'm sorry but it's absolutely awful. The pictures are minute and it really is an utter waste of time.

Also, if you're listening Cadbury- bring back our chocolate. The plastic rubbish you are currently trying to palm off on us is horrible

It was really easy to do, but I was so impatient waiting for it to come through - that bit took so long! But it was worth the wait!

Hmm I can see the nice idea behind this, but it's not ready yet. Perhaps a nice christmas one would be nice, we love buttons and always have them in our stockings!

After my previous post I did eventually get it set up but couldn't play it on my macbook when it was sent to me, I had to do it on a Windows netbook and wasn't really that impressed with it - the photos were small and although it said you could click and move the cursor to look at things I couldn't.
