Simple spaghetti with grilled asparagus and cheese

Hmmm risotto with mushrooms asparagus and beans followed by gelato and glass of fizz pure Italians!

So so so simple and yet so utterly delicious;

Fresh pasta ( I prefer tagliatelle), crushed garlic, a good splosh of good quality extra virgin olive oil and a few handfuls of grated parmigiano-regiano

Yum yum YUM!

lasagne -same as spring and winter !

Greedy guts here, 3 courses please (well if I'm out I might as well go all the way)
Bruschetta (can't get enough of this)
Then a prawn or fish pasta, light, maybe chilli based instead of cream
For dessert it has to be as many flavours of gelato as possible
My tummy is rumbling!

A Bellini and some stuzzicchini while I watch the world go by. And then a goats cheese pizza, please.

I love a caprese salad -creamy mozarella, buffalo tomatoes, bit of basil and drizzle of olive oil! can't beat it!

Summer meals are about enjoying the outside and not working too hard. So for me, while I'm usually happy to do carbonara from scratch, come summer I like to do an assembly job. Prosciutto crudo, ripe, juicy figs and the best quality bufala mozzarella I can find. Topped with rucola and Drizzled with balsamico and extra virgin olive oil, with any juices mopped up with a chunk of warm ciabatta. With a large glass of rose of course! Gioco e' fatto! Buon appetito....

Pizza thin base with goats cheese and drizzled with honey

I love tiramisu and think it's a great way to finish a meal. I make my own and it's definitely worth taking the time to ensure it's perfect.

Polo Cesar Salad. I had one off Doma square in Milan on a beautiful relaxed day and eating another just takes me back there.

Plain old lasagne with a lush fresh salad!

Does a Bellini count?! Not a meal but it's the bit I'm interested in A mozzarella and tomato salad is a favourite with me, food-wise.

I had the most amazing pizza in Rome - it was just white sauce, buffalo mozzarella and basil leaves. All washed down with prosecco

I absolutley love bruschetta on a summers days! Suck a lovely tasting and quick to prepare snack!
