PizzaExpress is teaming up with Ice Age: Collision Course this summer to provide great family days out. So, we’ve been asked by PizzaExpress to find out what MNers’ and their families’ dream pizzas would be.

Here’s what PizzaExpress have to say: ‘When it comes to PizzaExpress ingredients, we never compromise. After all, they’re the foundation for our great flavours. The same goes for our commitment to bringing fresh ideas to the table – such as our exciting new take on the Hawaiian Pizza.’

‘Inspired by Peter, our founder’s entrepreneurship and bravery to try new things, we’re always looking for new ways to delight our customers. How do we do that? By listening to them, of course, and bringing their ideas to life with a little creativity.’

So how would you customise your dream pizza? Are you a classic Margherita person or do you have more adventurous tastes? Where do you stand with pineapple on pizza? Are you the kind of person who likes lots of different toppings on one pizza, or do you prefer to keep things simple?

Whatever your favourite recipes are, post below about your dream pizza and you will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

roasted garlic, chargrilled chicken, avocado and pancetta

n0ne · 16/07/2016 07:42

Figs, gorgonzola, Swiss chard, walnuts on a spelt base

hidingwithwine · 16/07/2016 12:40

Chicken and sweet corn. However last time we were in Pizza Express I had to have a starter only, as I can't eat certain things and I was told in no uncertain terms that they "don't do sweet corn" My DH detests onions and was also told that no, onions couldn't be left off any pizza wtf

This family of 5 won't be back again.

k8vincent · 16/07/2016 14:03

Definitely not pineapple. I'd go for thin base, mozzarella, parma ham, red onion, spinach and goats cheese - and if I feel crazy I'd bung an egg on top! Oh, and artichokes, and some rocket? Maybe not all on the same section of the pizza.

GinThief · 17/07/2016 00:19

My absolute favourite is carbonara pizza with white sauce, Parma ham and lots of cheese/parmesan

Andbabymakesthree · 17/07/2016 09:32

Thin base. Good ham and pineapple classic. You can't beat it!

WuTangFlan · 17/07/2016 13:03

Thin base. Tomato sauce. Chorizo. Jalapeno peppers. Mozzarella. Sprinkling of black pepper.

Lots of mozzerella, chicken, mushrooms and garlic butter!!

VilootShesCute · 17/07/2016 17:48

Tuna, prawns, cheese, tomatoes. Amazing.

timeforabrewnow · 17/07/2016 18:19

Goats cheese, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, tomatoes and mozzarella - oh, and maybe a few juicy olives and pine nuts!

AdderDingAdderDong · 17/07/2016 18:33

A thin, firm but not dry base
Chopped, griddled tomatoes, a bit black around the edges
Buffalo mozzarella slices
Sauteed garlic mushrooms

I have made it. It was yummy.

bluemaid · 17/07/2016 20:01

Artichokes, roasted red peppers, goat cheese, capers, chilli and a fresh herb, basil will do, but parsley or rocket would be good too.

camelfinger · 17/07/2016 20:29

Pizza Da Morire was to die for. It had some blue cheese, bacon and possibly leeks. Someone won a pizza express competition to design a pizza and this was the winning entry. Don't think they do it anymore.

AgentProvocateur · 17/07/2016 20:50

Camelfinger, that's the one I described way back on this thread! Couldn't remember the name. They stopped doing it because it was too expensive to make apparently. Pizza da Morire, RIP Wink

Maclairey · 17/07/2016 21:05

Caramelised onions, pepperoni, chorizo, bacon and roquito peppers and lots and lots mozzarella, topped with fresh rocket. Yum.

keshimonster · 17/07/2016 21:51

Pineapple, pepperoni, mushrooms and extra cheese!

Tonkatol · 17/07/2016 22:09

Definitely a thin and crispy pizza with the usual tomato and cheese mix topping, preferably spread right to the edges. Then for toppings I would would choose caramelized onions, mushrooms, sweet peppers, rocket, sweet corn and pine nuts.

marshgirl · 18/07/2016 10:54

Mine would be Tuna, onion and sweetcorn.

Thumbnut · 18/07/2016 10:59

Roasted courgettes and cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, pine nuts and anchovies with a soft egg. No cheese!!

sofieellis · 18/07/2016 11:47

I prefer thin based (but not too thin!) with mushrooms, garlic, mozzarella, peppers, onions, spinach, feta and Quorn pepperoni. And sometimes a dollop of cottage cheese in the middle. I'm hungry now! :D

angiehoggett · 18/07/2016 12:46

I like a deep pan base with a tangy tomato sauce, pulled smoked ham, fresh pineapple and buffalo mozzarella

MaeBea · 18/07/2016 12:49

My favourite is grilled aubergine, avocado, capers and a sprinkling of mint on a classic margarita base. Sounds weird but is delicious.

CloudPirate · 18/07/2016 13:00

Thin base, tomato sauce, mozzarella, sliced mushrooms, prosciutto and dollops of mascarpone with a sprinkling of black pepper. Possibly with some fresh rocket on top.
