PizzaExpress is teaming up with Ice Age: Collision Course this summer to provide great family days out. So, we’ve been asked by PizzaExpress to find out what MNers’ and their families’ dream pizzas would be.

Here’s what PizzaExpress have to say: ‘When it comes to PizzaExpress ingredients, we never compromise. After all, they’re the foundation for our great flavours. The same goes for our commitment to bringing fresh ideas to the table – such as our exciting new take on the Hawaiian Pizza.’

‘Inspired by Peter, our founder’s entrepreneurship and bravery to try new things, we’re always looking for new ways to delight our customers. How do we do that? By listening to them, of course, and bringing their ideas to life with a little creativity.’

So how would you customise your dream pizza? Are you a classic Margherita person or do you have more adventurous tastes? Where do you stand with pineapple on pizza? Are you the kind of person who likes lots of different toppings on one pizza, or do you prefer to keep things simple?

Whatever your favourite recipes are, post below about your dream pizza and you will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

Annamaria0 · 14/07/2016 17:55

Thin crust, lots of good quality cheese, wild mushrooms, rocket.

gardenmama · 14/07/2016 18:33

I like the idea of a sourdough base with a rich tomato sauce topped with fresh buffalo mozarella, basil, char grilled arctichokes, and perhaps a drizzle of pesto and olive oil.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 14/07/2016 18:48

My favourite pizza is the one you already do, spinach, garlic, Parmesan, and egg. NO olives!!!

The one above sounds delicious, asparagus, pancetta and egg. Yum yum.

I know they are in no way authentic but I do like a pepperoni with bbq sauce.

Roseformeplease · 14/07/2016 19:08

Something I had in France - Goats' Cheese, really good ham and spinach. Amazing...

Starlingsintheslipstream · 14/07/2016 19:38

I don't think you can beat a traditional tomato and mozzarella. Bit boring, maybe, but definitely my favourite. Love the Pizza Express Romano bases.

Jouls · 14/07/2016 19:50

My dream pizza would be the usual lovely Pizza Express base with cheese and tomato, with slithers of sweet potato, chorizo, melted cheese and rocket.

SooBee61 · 14/07/2016 20:28

Rhubarb and custard

Mindfulofmuddle · 14/07/2016 20:54

Stone baked thin crust, tomato and oregano base with crayfish and rocket. Twist of black pepper and sprinkle of chives for garnish. Perfect Smile

Anj123 · 14/07/2016 23:20

Mine would be salmon, asparagus and olives on a thin crispy base with a green salad. Delicious!

FastWindow · 15/07/2016 01:13

Tonight, i bastardised a Tesco Meat Feast (that's pepperoni, smoked ham and ground chilli beef) with frozen chargrilled veg - aubergine, courgette, peppers and toms- added fresh sliced mushrooms, fresh ripped basil, garlic salt and a spray of olive oil to crisp it up. I would have added black olives but they'd gone off. Then dollops of tzatziki after cooking. Mmmm.

Shinynewbed · 15/07/2016 01:35

I love Spanish type flavours so mine would hav e to be
Chicken, chorizo, roasted red peppers, red onion, piemento peppers for a bit of heat and a bit of good salami. Few slices of good mozzarella drizzle of chilli oil and you have perfection. And it must be an extra thin crust.

Ahhhh mouths watering!

JammieDodgem · 15/07/2016 01:52

Pesto, mozzarella, and sun dried tomato.

The fresh garden peas we have at the moment would go nicely too I think!

OkLumberjack · 15/07/2016 10:07

Hallumi cheese, chorizo, black olives and chargrilled peppers, drilled with olive oil.

My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

OkLumberjack · 15/07/2016 10:08

Drizzled not drilled with olive oil. Drilling a pizza with olive oil would make it time consuming and weaken the structure of the base Wink

catsilversilk · 15/07/2016 10:14

Anchovies, artichoke, capers and olives (possibly without cheese). Yum!

cookie09 · 15/07/2016 12:29

Oh my i love love love Pizza however its not good for the waistline when you have a full one to yourself. Now i like spice so i would have a thin base, with spicy beef mince, peppers, onions, jalapenos, cheese, tomato and a few red chilli flakes. Making my mouth water now Grin

We're like Jack Spratt and his wife:

For me, loads of herby, garlicky, olive oily tomato sauce and no cheese then lots and lots of veg, regular stuff like mushrooms, peppers, onion, spinach, cherry and sun dried tomatoes etc. and more unusual stuff like courgettes, asparagus, artichokes and even grated carrots or peas, which I once had on a pizza in Malta and was surprisingly good. Amazing bread is important and the best way to have the quantity of veg I like with no cheese to stick it on is to make it into calzone.

For DH, a gluten free base, of which he only eats the crust, pesto in place of tomato sauce, lots of cheese and spicy meat.

DS would want to eat any kind of pizza. He loves it but is allergic to dairy and tomatoes and at 9 months is too young for the salt content in ready made ones, so I usually put red pepper puree with mixed veg and basil infused olive oil on top of a chapati and then grill it so he has one he can eat when we have pizza at home.

I actually do like chewy base , not too thick, but definetely not a paper thin soggy bottom.... Grin

I love a good eggplant pizza, which is incredibly hard to find. So please do one! It should be nice soft slices of eggpant, crisp and garlicky. tomato sauce and mozzarella with some herbs/rocket on top. My kids would also love this one!

flapjack35 · 15/07/2016 16:47

All my favourite things, Cheese, Pepperoni, Ham, Steak pieces, Mushrooms, Red Onions and sweetcorn

Whitecoconut · 15/07/2016 18:58

Lobster, crayfish and prawns, deep pan with seafood sauce.

merryxmas9 · 15/07/2016 19:18

Mine would be VEGAN cheese, roast Garlic, leafy kale, cubes of butternut squash or sweet potato, chilis and mushrooms !

MustTidyUpMustTidyUp · 15/07/2016 20:04

Thin but not crispy base. Creamy or tomatoey topping. Crispy pancetta, caramelised onion or leeks, artichoke, a teeny bit of anchovy maybe. Smattering of olives.
Actually, changed mind. 4 seasons which are....

  1. Creamy topping with crispy pancetta and caramelised leeks
  2. Slightly spicy sausage and mushroom with olives
  3. Cheese-tactic quarter maybe with Gorgonzola? Def some mozzarella and def not goats cheese
  4. Fave vegetables- artichokes, courgettes, sweet chargrilled peppers and some anchovy for luck.
OMG I just put on 3 lbs thinking about that.
sunshine75 · 15/07/2016 20:27

Red onions, roasted red peppers, goats cheese. Oh, and finished off with a drizzle of olive oil.

bambooleaves · 15/07/2016 20:41

I like pineapple and lots of cheese!
