PizzaExpress is teaming up with Ice Age: Collision Course this summer to provide great family days out. So, we’ve been asked by PizzaExpress to find out what MNers’ and their families’ dream pizzas would be.

Here’s what PizzaExpress have to say: ‘When it comes to PizzaExpress ingredients, we never compromise. After all, they’re the foundation for our great flavours. The same goes for our commitment to bringing fresh ideas to the table – such as our exciting new take on the Hawaiian Pizza.’

‘Inspired by Peter, our founder’s entrepreneurship and bravery to try new things, we’re always looking for new ways to delight our customers. How do we do that? By listening to them, of course, and bringing their ideas to life with a little creativity.’

So how would you customise your dream pizza? Are you a classic Margherita person or do you have more adventurous tastes? Where do you stand with pineapple on pizza? Are you the kind of person who likes lots of different toppings on one pizza, or do you prefer to keep things simple?

Whatever your favourite recipes are, post below about your dream pizza and you will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

Bacon (not ham), sweetcorn (not tinned), sliced tomatoes and lots of black pepper.

Do appreciate you are trying with the gluten free base but sadly it does currently taste like cardboard. The gf superfood salad is nice though!

A decently herby tomato sauce, chargrilled peppers, rocket, kalamata olives, red onions, & a few dots of (preferably vegan) pesto. Optional mozzarella or parmesan.

PamBagnallsGotACollage · 04/07/2016 14:10

My favourite design your own pizzas are:

Chicken, crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes and pineapple

and

Tuna, onion and spinach.

Now I want pizza for tea.

I'm not actually a vegetarian, but I do like lots of veg on my pizza, and don't like the really greasy pepperoni/meaty ones, so my usual request is slightly odd - usually I order a spicy vegetarian pizza & pay for ham or chicken as an extra topping! That way you get loads more veg than a standard ham or chicken pizza :D

Anchovies, black olives, capers , peppers onions

RepentAtLeisure · 04/07/2016 14:58

I once had wild boar pizza at a dinner party. It was very nice, quite salty.

I would like roast chicken and shredded pork with mushrooms (but no BBQ sauce, must be tomato.)

sarahlux · 04/07/2016 15:00

Has to be a thin base with tomato, cheese ham and garlic :)

Singbluesilver · 04/07/2016 15:24

Thin crust base. Lots of cheese. Tomato, black olives. Those spicy piquante peppers,.
Yum. This is making me hungry!

foxessocks · 04/07/2016 16:32

I am absolutely a classic margherita person although I do like sweet corn too! And a really thin and crispy base.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 04/07/2016 16:32

I love so many different things on pizza. Think I'll have to chose 2 as I can't chose!

  1. A really good spicy pepperoni with plenty of sauce.
  1. Spiced chicken, roast peppers, red onion, sweetcorn.

Really don't like ham on pizza and definitely no pineapple!

AgentProvocateur · 04/07/2016 16:37

Mine is one that Pizza Express stopped selling recently as "the ingredients were too expensive" Angry it had dolce latte cheese, pancetta and artichoke.

sharond101 · 04/07/2016 16:38

I am a simple margarita type of girl but used to get a pizza at a local restaurant with bbq chicken and banana on it and it was awesome. I make a homemade pizza spread with cranberry sauce, topped with caramelized onions and cheese.

Macarena1990 · 04/07/2016 16:39

Just bring back the Parmense!

Parma ham, asparagus and a fried egg. Was gutted when it was discontinued!

Owlkiss · 04/07/2016 16:40

Actually, I had my dream pizza last time I was in pizza express!

If I remember correctly it had butternut squash, chilli, spicy sausage, goat's cheese and spinach. I wasn't sure about the butternut squash, but it was delicious.

I love any pizza with an egg in the middle, but if the egg isn't cooked to perfection, the whole thing is ruined. I like quite a runny egg so I can dip the crust of my pizza into it.

MilesHuntsWig · 04/07/2016 16:45

Normal base, not too thin and not biscuit like.

Garlic and tomato sauce base with mushrooms, olives, peppers and chargrilled tofu, topped with a little chopped rocket and drizzled with basil oil (no cheese).

LavenderSugar · 04/07/2016 16:45

Thin base, tomato and basil sauce, pine nuts, mozzarella, grilled chicken and really fresh red onion. Doused in chilli oil.

tinyterrors · 04/07/2016 16:46

Stonebaked Base, thin but not rock hard or cardboard like.

Tomato, basil and roasted garlic sauce. Topped with mozzarella, cheddar, caramelised red onion and chilli beef.

mogloveseggs · 04/07/2016 16:47

Your pollo ad astra pizza is my favourite pizza ever! There's just something about those peppadew peppers that take it to a whole new level taste wise. Am drooling just thinking about it Grin

poocatcherchampion · 04/07/2016 16:47

I'd like:
One third smoked salmon and cream cheese
One third prawn and rocket and
One third anchovy and mozzarella

If you could deliver it in the next 20 mins I'd be delighted. Grin
Rumbly tummy.

RhubarbAndMustard · 04/07/2016 16:52

I'd quite fancy a shredded duck and hoisin pizza, or maybe with pineapple.

If I'm having a stodge day, I'd love a sausage and baked bean pizza.

BreakHerOffAKitKat · 04/07/2016 16:56

My local gourmet pizza place has some delicious and unusual combinations. My favourite is Indian Ocean - Tikka king prawns and scallops, garlic, onion, coriander, spinach, squeeze of lemon and a drizzle of yoghurt - amazing!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 04/07/2016 16:58

Pineapple, spinach, tuna and pine nuts. And maybe some jalapeños.

TheImprobableGirl · 04/07/2016 17:00

I always thought having two smaller pizzas as a 'half and half' option would be good. And I would have a Roquito pepper sauce on the first, with yellow and red peppers, fresh green chillies and Piri piri chicken on the first. A lovely decent ham hock and fresh pineapple, with mozzarella cheese on a tomato base would also be good, or a green pepper, mozzarella, green chilli and steak pizza.

All stonebaked, but with a puffier crust for dipping in a sweet chilli or fresh garb and herb dip :) potentially on a 'choose three dips' tray

Ashhead24 · 04/07/2016 17:01

Proper cheap pepperoni pizza is my guilty pleasure. Nothing spicy, just the slightly greasy cheaper end sausage with lots of gooey cheese. Failing that I do like to try anything unusual, so a pizza of the month that changed would be good.

DraenorQueen · 04/07/2016 17:02

Goats cheese, pancetta, asparagus and black olives. God I'm hungry.
