We’ve been asked by Cadbury Buttons to find out about the everyday precious moments you share with your child, that fill you with joy.

So, what are your everyday shared moments of joy? Perhaps it's singing along in the car to a favourite tune or re-reading a favourite book together? Maybe it's watching a favourite movie together for the umpteenth time, or that last cuddle before they go to sleep?

Whatever your shared moments of joy are, please share them with Cadbury Buttons (and each other!) below. If you have any pictures of these moments, please feel free to share them below, we’d love to see them! All MNers who post on this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Please note your posts and images may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Standard Insight T&Cs apply

Thanks, and good luck!

Cuddles before bed

Baking biscuits together and then decorating them with icing and sprinkles and cadburys chocolate buttons! Good fun and a treat to have with an afternoon cup of tea

spottypjs · 22/05/2016 18:38

I love the pictures they draw for you :)

hiddenmichelle · 22/05/2016 18:59

Love bedtime when they are tucked up and they ask me to lay down with them for a bit...so quiet and peaceful and love the smell of them after their bath!

hiddenmichelle · 22/05/2016 19:00

Love seeing my husband help with their homework and doing their spellings - he is so patient and just love that it is not all down to me too!

Mozarmstrong · 22/05/2016 19:03

All silly little things make my dreary day soo much brighter that's what children give you love and laughter .

I have been lucky enough to have my step-son Lucas in my life for almost 4 years now, and I feel exceptionally lucky to have seen him grow up so much over the time I have known him. He has accepted me into his life and his dads, and has made me know the happiness and pride a young life can bring.
From little moments like all cuddling up to watch a film, and just sitting down to eat as a family, I cherish the moments I'm privileged to share with him.
Now that me and his dad are getting married, I see even more wonderful family moments to come, and hopefully I can give him a little brother or sister one day! :-)

Sitting down having a cuddle and watching a movie before bed. I wouldn't change it for the world :)

janeyf1 · 22/05/2016 19:13

Doing quizzes together. The little one sounds so sure of herself even when she is wrong. Impressively confident already!

Lisapaige24 · 22/05/2016 19:15

When we're all sat down for dinner and tell each other how are day has gone but our daughter says something ditzy as she always does and the hubby has to torment her that makes me smile cause it never gets old especially when it's the only time of the day any of us spend together as a family but we always laugh everyday ❤️

Dencop · 22/05/2016 19:22

Sitting doing Homework and watching them get more confident with reading, writing and the way they talk about their school day ups and downs is a gentle reminder to enjoy every moment as they are growing too quick

kiki725 · 22/05/2016 19:27

being there for DD after school. she runs to me full of smiles :)

loopylin · 22/05/2016 19:33

julieef · 22/05/2016 19:43

Just spending as much time with them as possible is loads of memories

cluckyhen · 22/05/2016 19:46

The kitchen - I love been in there with the DC as they are always so keen and eager to help!. We have a blast too

Gilla01 · 22/05/2016 19:47

Reading stories to them both, with them snuggling against me, is priceless.

theresacoo · 22/05/2016 19:49

My heart burst every time my son says ' I love you Mummy'

bridge16 · 22/05/2016 19:50

Watching my two boys relationship grow is so amazing. I never imagined how close they would be and watching them together is such a joy!

Ganne1 · 22/05/2016 19:53

I love going out to eat with my children, and my husband and I would never consider eating without them (except works dos). We always try to find vouchers so that we can afford a better meal for less money, but eating out without them just wouldn't be the same.

ZiggyStone · 22/05/2016 20:11

Bathtime!

My little one's imagination runs wild in the tub! We just flew to the moon in a spaceship made of chocolate, but the chocolate "doesn't melt because it's magic chocolate" . We then had to fly back because it was getting dark and everybody was hungry. Who knows where her imagination will take us tomorrow!

Ikea1234 · 22/05/2016 20:26

When I pick my son up from school, and he asks if I have had a good day at work....makes me realise that banging on about good manners has paid off!

cocochips · 22/05/2016 20:26

Bedtime and reading a book to my little one

shivbrown · 22/05/2016 20:33

My son Joshua brings me so much joy every single day, He is the most happiest little boy, We are always out in the fresh air and having fun on bike rides together. He turns two in 6 weeks and every single day he is learning new words and just growing into his own little character I love it.

Having Joshua was the most perfect thing that could of ever happened to me, Hes in bed now but I can not wait for him to wake for his morning cuddles and his "Cooockoo" (Peppa Pig episode with the clock)
