In the run-up to the release of ‘The Angry Birds Movie’, from Sony Pictures, we are very excited to announce a new addition to the range of emoticons on Mumsnet – The Angry Bird! Angry Bird

The Angry Birds Movie Synopsis:

In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely – or almost entirely- by happy, flightless birds. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis, We're the Millers, Horrible Bosses), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated role since Frozen), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride, This Is the End, Eastbound and Down) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to this trio of unlikely outcasts to work out what the pigs are up to.

You can read more about the film here.

To celebrate, Sony Pictures want to hear your best ‘Angry Bird Moments’. So do share them here - whether it be your biggest pet peeve, a moment that got your feathers well and truly ruffled, or something that made you want to break everything in the room, in true Angry Birds style!

I have a few angry bird moments :-
Driving seems to turn me into an "angry bird" especially cyclists and people who hog the middle lane on the M1.
Cold callers of which I seem to get loads who don't get the message!
My husband leaving me the car without any petrol in it making me late for work!!
Teenage boys who refuse to wash or leave their room!
And I could go on and on

Need a doctor's appointment. Same day appointments have to be made by phone and lines open at 8 am. I start ringing just after 8.55, and keep trying. As soon as it hits 8, it's engaged. Engaged for the next 10 mins or so, every time I try and I literally ring, hear the busy tone and try again. When I do finally get through, all the appointments are booked or the most convenient times for me are! And I get told to try again tomorrow at 8! I def feel like a Angry Bird at those times.

I do leave a note in the suggestions box about getting a call waiting system but still waiting for that to be introduced...

Thankfully I don't need the doctors that often, but when I do and this happens it really gets me

I turn into an Angry Bird when kids whine, when the train is late, when I'm ignored, when I'm patronised, when my cup of tea lets me down, when the weather changes and I don't have an umbrella...it's a long list

Perfect timing for this question.

This Sunday when it was super hot, my 22 month old daughter had a massive tantrum in a coffee shop. She is the happiest, most chilled out little girl so for her to have a paddy, told me she was needing my love more than ever. Well the other patrons threw me death stares and tutted as she raged at me for 20 minutes. It was clear I was trying to soothe her and she eventually fell asleep next to me yet the death stares continued but not one person came to speak to me, where I would have quite happily defended my actions.

I was furious for the rest of the day. How have people forgotten what it's like to have children or even that they were children once themselves? Dogs bark and children cry sometimes, that's life. A little empathy would have gone a long way. That was the Angriest this Bird has been for years!

When I am just about to pull into the mummy car parking space at Sainsburys and some inconsiderate git slides in before me giving me a smug sideways glance... then they get out in a power suit, aged about 30 with no flipping kids in sight.... meanwhile I struggle with my twin pushchair and 2 crying two year olds!

My Angry Bird moment today (haha) was when a small child at soft play cried and SCREAMED about not having a cake for at least 20 minutes while her mum sat chatting away without looking!!! Other children were distressed by it, and my eardrums were more than mildly offended!!!!

:) can't wait for this movie!!

DH snoring his head off and then getting angry when I kick him. Well it's that or I smother you with my pillow, which would you prefer.

When the DCs suddenly decide they don't like a food they've enjoyed since they were weaned.

Having no mobile signal, it's the 21st century, come in, how can there be somewhere in the UK with no signal?!

Oh you wore those trousers for 2 seconds before you decided you wanted to wear the other ones? That's ok, just throw them in the linen bin. I just love washing and ironing them, it's a real hobby of mine, I mean what else could I be doing all day? Angry Bird
