In the run-up to the release of ‘The Angry Birds Movie’, from Sony Pictures, we are very excited to announce a new addition to the range of emoticons on Mumsnet – The Angry Bird! Angry Bird

The Angry Birds Movie Synopsis:

In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely – or almost entirely- by happy, flightless birds. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis, We're the Millers, Horrible Bosses), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated role since Frozen), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride, This Is the End, Eastbound and Down) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to this trio of unlikely outcasts to work out what the pigs are up to.

You can read more about the film here.

To celebrate, Sony Pictures want to hear your best ‘Angry Bird Moments’. So do share them here - whether it be your biggest pet peeve, a moment that got your feathers well and truly ruffled, or something that made you want to break everything in the room, in true Angry Birds style!

Loud people on the bus bring my boiling Angry Bird, whether they're on the phone or talking "shoutingly" among themselves. Football fans, the worst!

My Angry Bird moment was yesterday as I went to enter a department store, I opened the door and I let an older lady through and she said thank you, however just as I went to walk through two other 'ladies' much younger just walked straight through and said nothing to me so I said to them in a loud voice 'You're welcome...'

Just when I see people being rude to others, makes me want to shove them (I do in my mind, never in reality!).

My Angry Bird moment, just this morning, was upon being all virtuous at having put my final load of laundry on until the weekend - discovering that I had forgotten to load one forgotten sock from a dirty pair, immediately after hearing the washing machine buzz into life and my washing load to start.

The single lonely sock sitting in the laundry hamper is giving me the rage! AngryGrin

bad manners, they cost nothing yet lots of people don't say please or thank you. It boils my blood!

I had a fairly epic angry bird moment on sunday. We have had my hubbies parents and sister in law to stay from overseas and I went all out on Sunday making a 5 star, 5 course sunday lunch. Which I told them about and the time of eating. So of course they went out in the morning, came back 2 hours later then the planned meal time and with the news that they had grabbed something to eat whilst they were out so were not very hungry -_- It took all my powers to keep my mouth closed in front of them but I had to remove myself from the house for an hour as I was so angry lol

Idiots who park in bus stops, idiots that park on the pavement. Anyone that parks badly actually. I've had to struggle many times because of people who are badly parked. Why should I have to walk my children in the road because someone was too lazy to walk a tiny bit Angry
Also parents outside my local primary school who would rather run across a busy road and risk their and their children's lives, rather then spend an extra 20 seconds using the crossing. Really gives me the rage!

What I can call my 'Angry Bird moment' would have to be when I visited a friend of mine recently. I spent the day before cleaning my car as I take pride in my lovely new car. When I arrived at my friends, she had no room for me to park on her drive so I parked just outside her house. I remember as I pulled up, the sound of the birds crowding from the trees above me. The next day we planned to go shopping, so out we walk and my car was covered from roof to tyres in bird muck! My mate laughed and said she lives near a load of angry birds!
