Let's not even pretend any of us are going to get a good nights sleep but try and get a few hours when the kids actually do sleep. 8- 11pm is when my kids all tend to sleep, so i get my head down then. I drink water and green tea at night to relax me and have a bit of chocolate but tend not to go bed with a full stomach. In the morning i may still be a bit bleary but a cup of green tea and a splash of water tends to help me start my day the right way.

ouryve · 04/04/2016 23:18

Get rid of the kids.

megadude · 05/04/2016 07:22

I always notice the difference if I bother to double cleanse at night. Oh, and eat your fruit and veg too!

Roseberrry · 05/04/2016 07:51

Drink plenty of water

Turn off technology 1 hour before you sleep to ensure a good night sleep.

Take all make up off and use a night cream.

I also put tea bags on my eyes to reduce puffiness. I just wish I could find something that actually reduces bags!

Top tip. Don't have children!

However I wouldn't be without mine! So lots of water, any make up removed and limit alcohol? I actually dread to think how much older I'd look now of i still drank!

The secret is to have good dreams. Make sure you go to sleep thinking happy thoughts.

Ratbagcatbag · 05/04/2016 10:50

A couple of things for me. At least twice a week have an early night, like 9pm. With no TV on in the bedroom and phones left alone.

Never leave make up on, and if possible for me anyway, I don't wear mascara every day to give my eyes a break.

1033MICHELLE · 05/04/2016 11:54

EYE CREAM EVERY NIGHT AND LOTS OF WATER

FurbysMakeSexNoises · 05/04/2016 13:42

The one I'm terrible at following is not having screen time in the last hour before bed! That and ensuring you have at least eight hours of sleep. Sometimes a night off the telly can do wonders as well as a decent serum/moisturiser.

LordoftheTits · 05/04/2016 14:16

Plenty of water, green tea and enough sleep for me.

Bostin · 05/04/2016 14:28

I suffer from an eye disease and one of the symptoms is incredibly puffy eyes. Staying well hydrated and sleeping propped up with 3 pillows makes a huge difference.

Stujobohm · 05/04/2016 15:58

Always take make up off and use an eye serum :)

BadlyWrittenPoem · 05/04/2016 16:43

Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine.

GertrudeBadger · 05/04/2016 16:47

Sleep, and a good diet. And sleep...don't have children - they can mess with your ability to sleep :)

TheGreatDessert · 05/04/2016 17:03

Use cold chamomile teabags as a compress for tired eyes and get plenty of sleep!

JenRen88 · 05/04/2016 18:05

A good night sleep with no screens an hour before bed. Lots of water and green tea. On the days I wake up not quite looking bright eyed I will use a good eye cream and add some white eye liner to my waterline to make my eyes appear fresher.

RedKites · 05/04/2016 20:48

I imagine getting enough sleep consistently would help, but this is a theory I don't really get a chance to test these days!

littlepooch · 05/04/2016 21:36

Sleep
Water
Cool room
Fresh healthy diet
A good eye cream can leave things hydrated and looking a little fresher (and plump up the skin)

Monkeytrump · 05/04/2016 22:08

A good eye cream gently pressed around the eye sockets-not too close to the eye. Cool (but not cold ) cucumber on the eyes in the morning plus no central heating in the bedroom. And no waterproof mascara which needs to be 'scrubbed' off will definitely help the cause.... Halo

apple1992 · 05/04/2016 22:11

Getting an early night. Reading in bed helps me get a really good nights sleep.

dogdaysareover · 05/04/2016 22:17

NO sugar or alcohol. (sobs)

ButtonMoonLoon · 05/04/2016 23:26

My top tips
Drink 2litres of water a day
Try to avoid too much caffeine -I always try to start the day with a cup of hot water with lemon, and in the evenings drink fizzy water. No caffeine after 6pm!
Always wear sunscreen.

DillieDoily · 06/04/2016 00:07

Drink lots and lots of water. And have a good cleansing and moisturising regime not forgetting to remove all mascara. And try to get as much sleep as possible!

Halfling · 06/04/2016 09:01

Taking makeup off and cleansing properly at night preferably with a balm based cleanser
Applying eye cream
Applying highlighter at the inner corner of the eyes
Lining waterline with white/nude eyeliner

yoomoo · 06/04/2016 10:31

Drink plenty of water during the day (I drink 2 litres, feel rubbish if I don't!), remove make up followed by a decent cleanser and moisturiser. Before bed I have a pukka night time tea, think it's got camomile in and switch off all gadgets. In morning I use eye drops (dry eyes from laser eye surgery) and good make up to brighten the eye area. I think it makes my eyes look better anyway Grin
