Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

We make biscuits, hot cross buns and have an Easter egg hunt in the garden. I usually look up some craft ideas. We then go to my mums for a roast dinner.

createbeauty · 06/03/2016 08:13

We will hopefully go out for an Easter Hunt and spend time together as a family.

libra101 · 06/03/2016 08:24

Depending on the weather, hoping to go walking in the countryside with the children and grandchildren. Also enjoying a home made country pub lunch.

steviestarship · 06/03/2016 08:31

We'll be having an Easter Egg hunt in the garden for our two daughters. Also got crafting materials to make bunny masks for the whole family.

seeingdouble2 · 06/03/2016 08:36

Happydaz16 · 06/03/2016 09:17

Well for the next 3 Friday's on the lead up to Easter weekend, I'll be baking with my kids, and doing some Easter crafty stuff. Friday is always treat night in our house!

I'm off all sweet stuff this lent, so the kids will enjoy licking the bowl and tasting the eagerly awaited finished product.

And me! I'll have to wait till Easter Sunday to enjoy a day full of chocolate chocolate and some more chocolate lol.. After all it will be 8 weeks and I think I deserve it!

We have are egg hunt after dinner on the Sunday and the kids love it..

Easter Egg hunt with the family

grumpymummy3 · 06/03/2016 10:26

We will have an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday Morning and eat lots of chocolate and then a family dinner with both sets of parents. Then some chilling family time before back to work.

gingercat12 · 06/03/2016 10:31

We'll visit grandparents and make crafts. Likly to bake cakes. Grandparens will insist on visiting friends and family and DS sprinkle them with fragrant water - Eastern European tradition.
I'd love to go to a Cadbury Easter egghunt, but it is always just one weekend when we visit family. As a result we'll go to an Easter egg hunt at an independent stately home a week earlier.

pusinky · 06/03/2016 11:05

We're going to the south of France for the weekend.

Peabody25 · 06/03/2016 11:26

We'll be going to church op Sunday morning, then going to mum and dads for Sunday lunch with all the trimmings.

Mum used to do us a brilliant Easter egg hunt with rhyming clues when we were little, so she's carrying on the tradition with my little boy who's two and a half.

My mums got a big birthday this month, so on Easter Monday me, my mum and sister are going away for two nghts, just the three of us as a surprise. We've loads planned and it'll be lovely to have that quality time together, chatting, laughing and having loads of fun.

OutToGetYou · 06/03/2016 11:42

We're off to a wedding on the Saturday which will hopefully have a chocolate theme, then because we'll be close by them, we're visiting my cousin and her wife and their two lovely boys - there will most certainly be a chocolate theme then!

Dss is off to scout camp on the Monday, and we're off to Jersey for four days with dp's 81yo mum. Really looking forward to it all.

samcornfield · 06/03/2016 11:59

We will have an Easter egg hunt around the garden. The kids will have little baskets (Including my 23 year old!)

LuckyBluie · 06/03/2016 12:10

Baking a special Easter cake and taking part in a HUGE Easter egg hunt in our garden Smile

birdling · 06/03/2016 12:55

We're having the in-laws over for a yummy roast dinner (Cooked by husband). I adore my in-laws so it's a lovely way to celebrate. We'll also have a Easter egg hunt in the garden after the Easter bunny has been :-)

hbakfam · 06/03/2016 13:00

Having a roast dinner and lots of chocolate!

Maddaddam · 06/03/2016 13:45

We'll do an egg hunt in the garden, and the two teens will pretend they're too old and are just joining in to make it fun for dd3. But they are all chocoholics so they'll race around madly once they get started.

Purplehonesty · 06/03/2016 13:53

We have guests arriving to stay for a week on Easter Saturday.

For the first time this year I am going to have a little white Easter tree and hang ornaments on it. The kids can choose a new one each Easter like I do with Christmas so it will build up a nice collection.

We will have an Easter egg hunt in my dads garden next door as he has lots of fantastic hiding places, nooks and crannies.
I'll hide plastic eggs and chocolate eggs - three different colours one for each child to save the older children getting all the eggs!

Then we will have a nice lunch with family so about 9 of us in total and a walk somewhere.

After that I am on holiday for two weeks so I can't wait! Will be having lots of day trips with our visitors to local places.

At work we are having an Easter fun day with the Easter bunny visiting, stalls, bouncy castle, face painting, lots of nice Easter baking etc. Can't wait!

leanneth · 06/03/2016 14:20

We will be having an egg hunt around our house and garden. We have a set of plastic eggs and fill them with little chocolates and clues about where to find more!
