Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck!

We are going to stay with family and we are doing a small mountain hike to build up our appetites. I'm curious to know how my smallest child will cope. He's too heavy to carry these days.

Then we are having a massive meal together, followed by an egg hunt.

wrenfamily · 06/03/2016 14:49

we are planning on taking our son for his first trip to the zoo

lu44cy · 06/03/2016 15:04

Well , this year I am arranging a big Easter Egg Hunt - It will be over a large area and will be really good fun - not sure who is more excited me at arranging it or the big kids that are taking part

iut044 · 06/03/2016 15:45

Setting out a nice easter egg hunt for the kids!

markbarlow68 · 06/03/2016 16:04

We have a tradition of rolling decorated eggs down a local hill (Birkrigg) with a variety of local children. Great way to have fun and take in some fresh air in beautiful scenery

Coming off my low carb diet for the weekend and stuffing my face with chocolate!

I will be travelling back from Rome and Venice on Easter Sunday

cluckyhen · 06/03/2016 17:51

I'm a little unsure what we will be doing as we have just found out the the hubster will be heading to Italy for work and my oldest will be revising for GCSE's but hopefully the sun will shine so we can at least head to the beach

Lauzipop1 · 06/03/2016 17:53

We usually arrange a few day trips but seeing as Easter is so early this year we're pretty unsure. I know we are arranging a shopping day to Dublin with the oldest girl. The youngest is just excited about the Easter bunny and the annual easter egg hunt in the garden. x

Every Easter we love to go on a National Trust Easter egg hunt with our extended family, and we try and go to a different place every Easter. This year we will be going to Lanhydrock in Cornwall. If the weather is good we will take our bikes and a picnic. If it's not so good we will have something lovely to eat in the National Trust tea room.

OhHolyFuck · 06/03/2016 18:33

Moving house! Inbetween that though, I'm going to do a little Easter egg hunt for DSs and maybe go geocaching on the day

finleypop · 06/03/2016 18:51

We will be going to Smithills Farm, to see the newborn lambs, kids & chicks & take part in the fab egg hunt in the woods

laurac1987 · 06/03/2016 19:48

We will be chilling out, relaxing, trying to get outside much more and eating plenty of chocolate!

tubbss · 06/03/2016 19:52

We will be going to my parents where they do an egg hunt every year for their grand children then tucking into a brilliant Sunday lunch

Crumblevision · 06/03/2016 20:00

Easter Egg hunt at local farm on GF, probably a bit of BH decorating on the Saturday 😂, followed by edible Easter Bonnet making (Rich Tea biscs, topped with melted choc and large marshmallows then decorated). Sunday, mini egg hun in the house to see where the EB has left the eggs, and then huge roast lunch. Consuming Easter Eggs aplenty. Monday - prob usual Brit visit to B&Q/Homebase 😂

mave · 06/03/2016 20:34

I will be eating lots of eggs with my kids!

StickChildNumberTwo · 06/03/2016 20:39
