Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck!

Hitting the beach for some rock pool hunting then home for a roast dinner and a great film to watch whilst eating some lovely easter eggs

Here's a little poem about our Easter time,
I'll try to make it brief, maybe even rhyme.
Daddy will have some time off work,
So we can spend some days together
We're hoping for some sunshine and
perhaps some warm spring weather.

Some time together in the park,
On the swings, slide, and climbing walls.
Its mummy & daddy's Birthday's,
They want to take me to Football!!!
They'll be a few journeys for our transport crazy son,
Buses, trains, trams... No doubt we'll have great fun!

I'm hoping for some Cadburys mini Eggs
Honestly I'm really not addicted. :-O
The boys will have a treasure hunt
And have to answer lots of questions.
They'll hopefully find the treasure of lots of yummy treats
Which mummy is hoping will last the Easter week!

Easter crafts at Church followed by an Easter Egg Hunt and Chocolate Egg Raffle x

simplydivine05 · 20/03/2016 18:44

We're off to London to see family on Good Friday, will be doing an egg hunt at a farm on the Saturday and will come home on Sunday after a roast, to do our usual egg hunt at home, courtesy of the Easter bunny!

redheadandgoingtobed · 20/03/2016 18:50

We are going to Ireland to see family. DD13 now prefers truffles to easter eggs, so she asks the easter bunny for those. Wink

A big family get together and lunch on Easter Sunday

GrooveHeart · 20/03/2016 20:29

We'll be having a family get-together, having a trip to the coast and doing an Easter egg hunt.

My husband will be working nights from Thursday to Monday :( the bane of being married to a Junior Doctor.

rachieroomumoftwo · 21/03/2016 09:11

We are having much needed family time, my six yr old is helping me make all the treats, mini egg brownies, egg shaped cookies, we are upcylcing some branches we pruned to have a easter themed centrepiece.
Got a golden egg (ine for each boy) to fill as the big prize at and of the Easter Egg hint round the house and garden. Lots of family fun

Easter is around the corner
And it's time to have some fun
Would it be too much to hope for
A little bit of sun?

It's time to celebrate this Easter
As my little one turns three
And what has he asked for?
Only a Mad Hatters Tea!

But it's not to be a simple lunch
"Oh no, no way" shouts he,
"I want to have my party'
In amongst the trees".

So camping we will go
My four kids and me
While daddy trails behind
Carrying goodies for our tea

We'll have a little treasure hunt
As we traipse through the gorse
Searching for some bunny rabbits
Cadburys chocolate ones of course!

So while daddy sets up the tent
And our Mad Hatters Tea
We will have a great adventure
As my little one turns three!

We are going on an Easter egg hunt on the Saturday, it's my sons birthday on Sunday so we will be having a birthday tea party.

Iggi999 · 21/03/2016 18:38

Oh it's tonight that Dispatches programme about Cadburys is on isn't it?

el2606 · 21/03/2016 20:01

We are going to be relaxing and eating lots of Cadbury chocolate Easter eggs (the Twirl ones are my personal fave!)

Pimmpom · 21/03/2016 21:12

Family coming over on Easter Sunday, so I will be cooking a leg of lamb and lots of Easter Eggs afterwards. Smile

Ethan260908 · 21/03/2016 21:12

Well I had hoped to do more of the same with my son who is 7, but he came home with a letter saying he could go to footie camp. Perhaps this is a sign of the times, I won't be able to spend as much time with him playing hide and seek and all the other games we have played over the years.

Laflouder · 21/03/2016 22:32

We usually go to a National Trust egg hunt somewhere in Cornwall where we live, but this year we are going to stay in Wales with my husband's family, and will be doing our own egg hunt for our sons and their cousins. Just hoping for some good weather!

janemphoto · 21/03/2016 22:47

We are having our extended family staying over for a few days to catch up.

glmcall123 · 21/03/2016 22:55

If the weather's dry we'll be having an Easter egg hunt in the garden, if it rains we'll hold it in the house. Great fun and delicious prizes whatever the weather.

princesssmitheee · 21/03/2016 23:37

work :( nooooo

31weeksgone · 21/03/2016 23:43

It's my baby daughters first Easter so she's got a little bunny dress and we're going to the local village daffodil day and egg hunt, followed by roast dinner. That's Sunday anyway, bank holiday Friday & Monday we're replacing our kitchen Shock

ohlittlepea · 22/03/2016 05:15

Easter is one of my favourite times of year! On Friday were hoping to join the cadbury egg hunt at Box hill, such beautiful surroundings! On Saturday our nieces and nephews are joining us for a big roast and egg hunt in the park. I'm working Easter Sunday but sure that my little girl and her dad will have a lovely peaceful day eating chocolate together! On Monday well probably visit a farm near us which has lambing, good times.
