Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Were planning lots of day trips - cinema, beach, crazy golf. The thing my kids are most excited for though is the annual easter egg hunt with all the extended family on Easter Sunday :-) x

Loftzilla · 22/03/2016 08:52

I'll be secreting eggs in mysterious places, enjoying the smiles on my grandchildren's faces. Roasting the lamb with rosemary and wine, then enjoying some chocolate, simply sublime!

goose1964 · 22/03/2016 09:07

we're having a family get together

GrowAndRun · 22/03/2016 09:07

We hope to make progress in the garden. Also will be going to Easter church services. Expect some time during the holiday we are likely to find a NT egg hunt, kids enjoyed it last year

cinderellao9 · 22/03/2016 09:30

Good Friday we are going on a bear hunt. Easter Sunday to the in laws and Easter Monday to meet the Easter bunny with cookie decorating and chocolate eggs!

zoewowie · 22/03/2016 09:56

Going to visit family in Wales, and having a big massive easter egg hunt in the woods, we have 20 children in the family taking part and the adults are all going to be dressed as easter bunnies!

cathyov · 22/03/2016 09:57

Having all the family around for a roast dinner and doing our own special Easter Egg hunt. Great thing about Easter roast dinners never have to worry about the desserts as they cannot wait to be eating some chocolate!

hdh747 · 22/03/2016 10:20

Having a home roast dinner and seeing some friends.

Nix143 · 22/03/2016 11:34

I'm going to be decorating my hallway - oh the glamour!

sofieellis · 22/03/2016 13:35

My oldest kids are home from uni for the holidays, so we aim to spend as much time having family fun, as we can - oh and to eat lots of chocolate!

meggysar · 22/03/2016 13:42

If it's a rainy weekend we will be indulging in lots of chocolate, films and board games!

Rache36 · 22/03/2016 14:03

Slight change of plans, usually out and about with the family, enjoying walks and egg rolling etc. This Easter, I will be enjoying chocolate treats and crafts with my three little ones and DH at home, as I have broken my leg!!!ShockBlushChocolateChocolate Chocolate makes everything seem betterChocolateChocolateSmile

easter egg hunt in our village fair then visiting my mum for easter lunch! x

gillyweed · 22/03/2016 14:27

We made salt dough decorations this weekend; chocks, rabbits and eggs. We will go for a hunt this week to find some twigs and hang the Decs all up, possibly with some bright ribbons tied on too. This will be our kitchen centre piece.

I've just bought lots of small plastic eggs and a few chocolate eggs to put inside, I'll do a hunt (maybe in the garden) for my 3 yr old Dd1, she will have to share with her gains with her little brother and hopefully the rest of the family too!

We will have a big family meal next weekend; my sister will do the starter (maybe something with asparagus), I've got a huge leg of lamb for the main and my brother who is a chef is doing dessert! We might also make some chocolate nests for a treat too. We didn't have time to make a simnel cake this year but a spring themed dinner will be good!

We don't celebrate the religious side of easter but we will enjoy family, friends, good food and drink, and the start of spring!

Well wierdly I start my new job on Easter sunday so i will be working after being unemployed for 6 months! Yipee!

TLAF · 22/03/2016 15:35

Enjoy family time together

Schnarff · 22/03/2016 15:43

Working, working and more working :( Thankfully I will be close to the Cadbury Outlet shop in Gloucester so am sure I will be running in there for supplies of Creme eggs to cheer me up

BlueLeafTea · 22/03/2016 15:51

I'll be baking Easter goodies. Hot cross buns and a triple layer cake?

JulesJules · 22/03/2016 16:57

I am making a cake to take with us to my parents on Easter Sunday. Mum has requested a chocolate marmalade cake (Nigella's 'storecupboard cake' from Domestic Goddess).

I'm also going to take a homemade slab of chocolate decorated with swirls of white chocolate, freeze dried raspberries and mini eggs. The chocolate itself isn't homemade you understand Grin - I just melt it. pour it out and decorate. This is in lieu of an actual Easter egg.

I have knitted a few little creme egg concealment devices, hens and chicks, for the treasure hunt, and I made some for my sister's treasure hunt at work.

dozza33 · 22/03/2016 17:46

It's been a busy couple of months so it's going to be a relaxing easter. We've already done egg decorating for school though, we've got some Easter treats to make and I think probably making some easter bonnets too

marylegs23 · 22/03/2016 17:50
