Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck!

We are planning on doing an Easter egg hunt at home on Easter Sunday. I will get up before the kiddies and be the Easter bunny! I have little plastic eggs which I usually fill with sweet goodies such as haribos, maltesers, cadburys buttons etc and the children go around the house and garden with a basket and fill it up with the eggs that the bunny has left for them! We will do this in the morning and then have a roast dinner in the afternoon. After this we will have a go at making our own Easter eggs using a kit I brought last year in the sales and hopefully if all goes well (fingers crossed!) we will have a movie evening and replace the usual popcorn with our Easter eggs! ;)

It's my DS's 2nd birthday on Easter Saturday, so we have a busy weekend! He is having a soft play party with his nursery friends on Good Friday, will be seeing all the family on his birthday on Saturday. For Easter Sunday he will be doing his first Easter hunt, and I can't wait :) Then we are planning to take him on a National Trust Easter Hunt at Speke Hall.
Oh and then on the Tuesday we are going to see the real bunnies and chicks at the Beatrix Potter attraction in the Lakes. I am so excited!

On Good Friday we are having an extended family get-together-picnic at a local Country Park with our own egg hunt for the children, Easter Saturday we are getting together with friends, then Easter Day itself is started with the Easter bunny egg hunt around the house with the clues leading to the childens big easter eggs . The we are having a big family lunch with a homemade Cadburys Creme egg cake-dessert

Easter egg hunt with riddles to lead to the next clue hidden around the house and so on and the final clue leads to the egg prize.

My hubby found a 6 day holiday at a campsite in the south of france for under £400 inc flights!! So it's a bit last minute but we're off on holiday YAY xx

I home-educate three of my four kids, so we have a lot of fun doing Easter crafts, mainly baking chocolate nest cakes with Cadburys Mini Eggs, they add the perfect touch! My eldest two do like to fight over who gets to lick the bowl afterwards mind! :-). Its the best time to scoff tons of chocolate, and work it off the best way possible by going to the park for a kick-around, Easter is brilliant fun, although it falls on my hubbys birthday this year lol, and the clocks go back an hour too, so poor hubby not only has to share his birthday with us, but also lose an hour of it! :-)

My DH has Easter off this year as he will between jobs! We get to spend lots of time together. We will be visiting family, doing an Easter Egg trail and taking the dogs for lots of walks in the fields. Oh and eating a hundred Cadbury eggs (and that's just me!)

cathisherwood · 17/03/2016 09:01

I think we will be selling at the local car boot sale on the Sat - the children actually like this but will probably come home with more junk that they get rid of - then an easter egg hunt trail at our local NT on the Sun

iwantanewcar · 17/03/2016 09:26

My Easter will be quiet as my son is away with his dad. So we will celebrate later in the holiday by having local friends come over for hotcross buns just before school goes back. It will be social and gives everyone a chance to see each other. I am not religious so will use the actual easter time to see family and garden.

TheBigRedBoat · 17/03/2016 11:28

We will be going to an egg hunt at Speke hall or rufford i hope! And we'll be spending the weekend making easter crafts and baking mini eggs nest cakes. My children are very excited!

kungfupidge · 17/03/2016 17:26

Dianic · 18/03/2016 11:09

We're having a lovely roast dinner, I'll be baking "tear and share cinnamon rolls" and we're going to visit our new baby grandson for cuddles! Might do a little "back yard cleaning" too, weather permitting!

Bechoole · 18/03/2016 12:04

Off to London, going on the Duck Tour and food in Chinatown, yummy!

rosyredapple · 18/03/2016 15:39

We will be decorating my step-childrens bedrooms and preparing the nursery for the arrival of our 1st baby together... Exhausted already but I can't wait!

DingleberryFinn · 18/03/2016 20:32

I will mostly be working. And stuffing my face with chocolate.

angiehoggett · 18/03/2016 21:13

Joining an egg hunt at a national trust property and we've having our own egg decorating competition at home

Hopezibah · 18/03/2016 22:26

hoping for some sunshine as we are desperate for some days out at local parks and playgrounds as well as easter egg hunts and crafts etc

Zobo30 · 18/03/2016 22:54

Last Easter my baby girl was in hospital - this year we aim to make it special for the whole family. We're going to a funday, some motorcyclists are coming to see the children at the local community nurses offices and give them eggs, going to Church and Easter egg hunts! My five year old is most excited about seeing the motorbike s and I'm looking forward to seeing my children happy xx

Wargghhhh · 18/03/2016 23:34

On Easter Sunday we will be doing an Easter treasure hunt around the house, followed by a lovely roast dinner. Later, providing the weather is nice we'll go to our local park for an egg hunt - we might even go roller booting too!

vixxx666 · 19/03/2016 16:19

I'm hoping to take the kids on a trip to LegoLand and spend some time catching up with family!
