Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

ToucanPlay · 14/03/2016 13:39

I've bought the kids an easter egg each, a Cadbury buttons one (I live for them) and I'm also going to but some of the little plastic hollow eggs and do a treasure hunt kind of thing. Maybe each plastic egg will have a few mini eggs in too, just to keep them going. Smile

We will be doing if fun things if weather stays dry. Nice walks to forests beaches gardens parks. Also doing the old traditional Rollins eggs with me children....

stefalfie11 · 14/03/2016 18:30

we're going to see my in-laws in germany which will be really good fun and a nice way to spend it with all of the family! We'll have to make sure we tell the easter bunny of our temporary address change though, dont want to miss out...!!

moopymoodle · 14/03/2016 18:55

Good Friday dinner at my Nanas, egg hunt the Sunday and going to Eureka on the Monday :)

Supermam · 14/03/2016 19:27

We'll do a small Easter egg hunt around the house and the garden, if it's not too wet & cold. We always go to our local NT mansion, as it's a bit of a tradition with us, now. I may try to make a Simnel cake...but I say this every year! (Another tradition!)

TattieHowkerz · 14/03/2016 19:53

We will go on the Cadbury Easter egg hunt at a local country house - 3rd year in a row so becoming a tradition. We've got friends visiting so will also take all the kids to the park to see the animals and do some crafty stuff.

We're running away to my Granny's caravan at the seaside! Good old Skegvegas!!! We'll pig out on chocolate eggs & then run up & down the beach with the dog so I don't feel guilty ;)

kaycm25 · 14/03/2016 21:21

Lots of arts and crafts and an Easter Egg hunt on the Sunday.

Feelingblue222 · 15/03/2016 02:09

We always end up doing 3 egg hunts - one at home in the morning then one at each set of GPs. Skipping one is unthinkable!

I do realise how ridiculous this is as we still haven't eaten all the eggs from Easter 2015...

Setting up the Easter egg hunt in the park

Hosting ILs for roast hoggat & simnel cake

Church on Good Friday as the Egg Hunt timings don't allow for on the Sunday

Trying to source a dairy free Easter egg for me!

carz1985 · 15/03/2016 07:31

We will be spending time together as family while we don't have work and will be having a roast dinner and we will probably go out for day to zoo or something and also might even try and find an easter egg hunt near us for my daughters.

ha2el · 15/03/2016 08:43

I'm spending Easter with my Mum. We always make each other laugh, so I'm looking forward to it very much.

easter egg hunt in the morning and after a lovely sunday lunch we will go for a walk

JS06 · 16/03/2016 10:00

We're off to Yorkshire, near Thirsk to spend a few days over the Easter holidays in a lodge in the woods. Really looking forward to it as there's a hot tub on the deck and a sauna inside. Woo hoo! Likely to do a tiny bit of sightseeing and also we're doing a 4x4 trek thing which teen son really keen on as he's going to be one of drivers with us in the back (biting our hands). Yikes! Fresh air, mud and glory here we come!

Emrob86 · 16/03/2016 10:54

The only plan is to spend time with family who is visiting and to eat lots of chocolate! :)

ProbablyMe · 16/03/2016 11:32

Unfortunately we will be spending Easter at Birmingham Children's Hospital because my DS age 12 is having surgery and will still be recovering. He's desperately hoping that he can eat normally by then as he wants choccy!!

emily13 · 16/03/2016 12:28

Eggs for breakfast, the chocolate kind. Then we're planning a long walk in the woods to build up an appetite for a big roast dinner.
