Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck!

We'll be taking our caravan her maiden voyage with our 2 children. We're so excited, hope the sun shines!! 😊😊

fm201069 · 11/03/2016 23:46

we're going to have a well earned rest and some choccie!

halfthewaytothemoon · 12/03/2016 00:06

does sleeping it off in an alcoholic haze sound a bit out there or am just an irresponsible Mum... I am happy to include a chocolate egg or two in my excesses as the kids might by reading this!

caker · 12/03/2016 04:45

I'll be having a baby! And hoping I'll be home in time for DD's birthday, who was born at Easter too :)

CrockedPot · 12/03/2016 05:11

We will be going on our annual family Easter break, so that will be ten of us in a cottage in Cornwall. Easter Sunday will involve a big roast dinner and an egg hunt, and the rest of the week we will be walking, reading and going out to sea. We can't wait!

DarthPrincess · 12/03/2016 09:21

We've already started here, my 6 year old helped me make some easter window decorations and we've made an easter tree for our little decorations.
We will spend easter Sunday at mass. For us its a double celebration, my daughter was christened on easter Sunday 5 Years ago.
We will have Easter egg hunts on my grandparents farm and eat plenty Easter eggs and hot cross buns! I see easter as fun time to spend with the kids ( and calories don't count at Easter Grin )

KittyKat88 · 12/03/2016 09:51

We'll sign up for one of the Breakfast with the Easter Bunny activities locally. We'll also go for a wonder in our local 'bluebell woods' and the DH and I will take some chocolate eggs and gold coins to 'scatter' en route which the girls can then hunt for! They loved that last year Grin

marshgirl · 12/03/2016 13:52

My other half will be working, my daughter is old enough know to be out socialising so I will probably spend some time spring cleaning.
After this we will all spend time with my family , exchanging eggs, the little ones will have an Easter egg hunt in the garden and lent will be over so I can eat my chocolate eggs plus other things as I gave all good treats up . Cannot wait.

Wjjkl · 12/03/2016 16:09

We will be doing our first Easter egg hunt with our little boy then probably to a pub for a nice Sunday roast!

CSUK · 12/03/2016 16:22

I will be home alone over Easter, probably working in my garden, attempting to level it for a nice paved area to sit in the sun, when summer comes.

happysouls · 12/03/2016 21:58

I will mostly be hiding my Cadbury Mini Eggs in my tummy and not letting anyone else know where they are.

sparklyblue81 · 12/03/2016 22:40

We have an egg hunt in the garden every year so we'll be doing that again, making some Easter crafts & doing some Easter baking. I've bought my son Easter Hama beads this year so we'll be adding that on the list :)

We're off to meet family friends for half the week. It always works there. the husbands go off cycling, DSs pair off and play, DDs pair off and play. Then my friend and I get some piece and quiet.

catgirl2 · 13/03/2016 10:19

Off to my parents farm to watch baby lambs skipping. Plenty of chocolate and grandma's roast!

Ntinyn · 13/03/2016 13:43

My husband has been working really long hours so really looking forward to a family day out in London with toddler and lots of walks and family time. Also looking forward to setting up an egg hunt for the first time and cooking a fab roast.

purplevamp · 13/03/2016 18:37

We're going round my Mums for Easter Sunday and hopefully eating lots of Cadbury Easter Eggs!

Kannet · 13/03/2016 19:18

First Easter as a mummy to my beautiful six month old ds. Going to sleep and eat lots of chocolate

planepointer · 13/03/2016 20:03

Seeing old friends in London at the beginning of the weekend, then the rest of the weekend we have the luxury of no commitments!

annarack99 · 13/03/2016 20:22

off to france to visit family

Thecatknowsshesboss · 13/03/2016 22:01

We've been making an Easter Bonnet this weekend as DD couldn't wait any longer to get started on it. It's now a riot of colours and stickers and DD loves it hopefully it'll survive till Easter as she keeps trying it on! We'll do a hunt in the garden for eggs as well as DD has already announced her intention of searching for eggs as soon as she wakes up. Unfortunately, she usually wakes up at 6am so someone will be hidding eggs very late on Saturday night in the dark.

Tean1 · 13/03/2016 22:15

We're going out on our canal boat, hope it doesn't snow, with a big bag of creme eggs for the kids.

phillie1 · 14/03/2016 08:53

treasure hunt and eating lots of chocolate
