Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck!

Working

scrivette · 08/03/2016 19:04

I will devise an Easter Egg hunt for my four year old and then we will be going to my parents house for lunch.

I would also like to go to Church in the morning.

sweir1 · 08/03/2016 19:57

We plan on doing an easter egg hunt

amusedchrissy · 08/03/2016 20:42

a long weekend in Jordan

allybird1 · 08/03/2016 21:41

Hoping to visit cadburys world for the first time with the children. Also would definitely like to go to the national trust egg hunts. Would recommend them as did about 3 last year.

Foolishly I am having Dd's birthday party on good Friday & ds's birthday party on Easter Saturday!
Instead of a party bag I will be handing out Easter eggs & probably doing an egg hunt as one of the party games.
I imagine that I will be collapsed in a heap by Easter SundayGrin

randdom · 09/03/2016 09:36

I am looking forward to easter sunday with my son who is nearly two. Last year he was a little bit too young to get an idea of what was going on and we couldn't really do an easter egg hunt or anything like that. This year I think that he might have some of an idea (though I do worry that he is going to throw a bit of a strop at not being able to eat all the chocolate at once!

It will be also nice to have some time together just the three of us. Though unfortunately I am working on the Saturday morning I am putting that to the back of my mind so we can focus on having fun the rest of the time!

shydaylily · 09/03/2016 14:28

spending it with my family enjoying a roast dinner

emmamcmahon · 09/03/2016 14:36

We will be taking part in all the Cadbury's National Trust Egg Hunts around here. Nothing better - fresh air AND chocolate!!! Xx

MustBeThursday · 09/03/2016 14:59

DD's birthday is on Easter Sunday this year, so Easter weekend will involve an outing, probably to a farm, lots of new toys and an overdose of sugar in the form of both Easter eggs and birthday cake.

Lilymaid · 09/03/2016 15:09

Definitely not eating Cadbury's chocolate ... what a sad decline of a once excellent (and once British) manufacturer!

KIRANKAUR1985 · 09/03/2016 16:36

Going to get some nice plastic eggs and plant them around the house (garden too if not raining) and the kids can go on a hunt and then have a grand prize of easter eggs for them , I have my nieces and nephews coming and we will be having a nice dinner.

Oldbiddywilkins · 09/03/2016 18:24

We won't be doing a lot because hubby has a new job and now has to work Sundays. I'll be making the day special for the kids though, we always do an egg hunt, outside if the weather allows or inside otherwise.

Liquorice13 · 09/03/2016 20:14

My daughter's school are having the holidays in April, but wr will do some National Trust Easter Egg hunts over the bank holidays

hann24 · 09/03/2016 21:19

LineyReborn · 09/03/2016 21:55

Cadburys is horrible now.

With palm oil ffs.

deepcmum · 09/03/2016 22:49

eating eggs

CuttedUpPear · 10/03/2016 07:24

I'll be buying my children easter eggs that don't contain palm oil and actually taste of chocolate, thank you very much.
So not Cadbury"s.

schusc · 10/03/2016 09:01

We will be venturing to London for the weekend where we will be visiting the London Science Museum, The Natural History Museum and finally on Easter Sunday we will be exploring the marvellous toy store of Hamleys, exactly the type of Easter a 2 and a half year old needs :)

Blizy · 10/03/2016 09:21

We will be going to the children's farm, feeding the lambs seeing the new chicks, playboy the park and an Easter egg hunt.

lynwestie · 10/03/2016 10:14

Not very exciting at all but as my son will be away over easter we are going to take the opportunity to re decorate his room. I shall do that whilst Eating much chocolate.

hareinthemoon · 10/03/2016 10:40

My daughter will be visiting from uni and we will be chatting and hanging out.

Debsie123 · 10/03/2016 10:50

On Easter Sunday I will be cooking a lamb roast for my Dad and my children and I will be doing an Easter Hunt for the children. I've already bought the mini Cadbury creme eggs and mini Cadbury oreo filled eggs as well as Freddo frogs so that should keep the children happy. I might even make hot cross buns if I have time.

Getzbaby · 10/03/2016 11:34

Easter egg hunt with the cousins on Good Friday followed by a fish tea at the pub. We will go to Matlock Farm park one day for a fun family day out and then Easter Sunday it is a tradition to go to grandparents for Sunday lunch. My daughter will be spending lots of time at her grandparents over the Easter break while I'm at work so they have lots of Easter themed crafts for her to do.
