Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

We will be spending the weekend with family and doing a lovely Easter Egg hunt for the children.

vcoxee · 06/03/2016 21:00

We will be traveling in Indonesia so I'm not sure we will get Easter eggs over there due to the heat ... so I guess we need to start eating some right now!

Lovewhereilive · 06/03/2016 21:32

Walking up a mountain hopefully, Easter egg hunt, family/ friends round for food. That's it!

kittykomp · 06/03/2016 21:48

chilling with the family

kacky · 06/03/2016 22:02

We are doing a bunny bounce for charity. Children all have to dress up as bunny rabbits and either bounce randomly around the hall or get a few chances to bounce on the bouncy castle. It should be brilliant fun🐰🐰🐰🐰🍫🍳

BellaWella86 · 06/03/2016 22:05

A pretty chilled out one this year - a nice egg hunt in the garden with the kids, followed by a roast dinner and some family games.

Ikea1234 · 06/03/2016 22:14

We have decided to broaden our horizons and have booked a day trip to Copenhagen!! It was £15 each return, and we have found a couple of free walking tours, made a list of stuff to see and will have a nice. Meal before flying home again!

ButtonMoonLoon · 06/03/2016 23:15

Church in the morning, then home to prepare and have lunch after which we will be off for a nice walk!

Big family dinner with all the extended relatives and always have to have an Easter Egg hunt

devito92 · 07/03/2016 06:39

Moving house should be fun

jan1ey · 07/03/2016 07:40

Eating cadburys eggs with my family :)

Sellins · 07/03/2016 10:03

We don't really celebrate Easter, but appreciate the bank holidays to get the garden started

jenniwren12 · 07/03/2016 10:06

we're hoping to take the children away for a couple of days to the seaside

MAT12 · 07/03/2016 11:53

Having the family over normally around 20 of us in total. The kids have a brilliant time by doing the usual, An Easter hunt, Easter basket decorating and decorating some eggs. You can pick up lots of cheap crafts from the pound shop which are great for the above activities

helly27 · 07/03/2016 12:05

We always do one of Cadbury's National Trust egg trails.

Kriek · 07/03/2016 12:38

We live near several National Trust properties and take part in the Easter Egg hunts at those. It has become a tradition that we visit Box Hill and roll down the side!

We eat a lamb roast and drink lots of prosecco with friends. It is nice to take the time to breathe and enjoy time together. The kids will take part in an egg hunt around the house and garden.

duckbilled · 07/03/2016 12:45

We are going to a local steam railway heritage weekend to have a ride on the train and meet the Easter bunny!

jandoc · 07/03/2016 12:54

no plans as of yet

manfalou · 07/03/2016 13:08

We will do a easter egg hunt around the garden on easter Sunday then a lovely walk somewhere, over the rest of the easter weekend we try and find fun easter hunts to attend with friends... one usually at the local farm =)

BreconBeBuggered · 07/03/2016 13:37

Easter egg hunt, even though the youngest is 13 now. Tradition, innit. We might take the hunt over the PIL's this year, as our garden has too many places for egg concealing and we didn't find last Easter's final egg till about September, when the new dog proudly snuffled it out of a hedge. He was most put out not to be allowed to wire in to the contents.

Marg2k8 · 07/03/2016 13:56

We're off to a wedding.

CombineBananaFister · 07/03/2016 14:52

Easter Egg hunt around our apartment block (we have lovely accommodating neighbours and no garden) then off to the Scarborough for fish chips, icecream and a fresh walk on the beach - because there aren't enough calories involved in Easter Sunday already hehe Wink

bobble5366 · 07/03/2016 15:45

hoping for a dry day for the 'annual easter egg hunt' keeps the children busy for eerm....at least an hour. The roast will be in the oven for around 5pm. We will go to the local park for a run around and kick about, and weather permitting a row on a boat. With the chocolate calories burnt off we will return home to eat lunch, then put a dvd on, and eat some more chocolate mmmmm

mumsnit · 07/03/2016 15:47

Visiting family near the seaside - yay! We don't get to see the sea very often where we live so the kids are super excited.

Other than that, we'll be stuffing our faces with chocolate Chocolate if any of it survives until Easter Blush

farhanac · 07/03/2016 15:51

Chocolate binge
