We’ve been asked by Pampers to find out which songs get your babies grooving.

Pampers says, "Here at Pampers we know that babies love to get their groove on without a saggy nappy getting in the way. That’s why NEW Pampers Active Fit have Magical Pods, absorbent channels that help to distribute wetness evenly, so they don’t sag and stay up to 2 times drier than the next leading brand. We’d love to hear what song gets your baby moving – let us know by commenting on the thread below. Plus you can try new Pampers Active Fit for free here.

So, do you have a traditional lullaby that your baby loves? Maybe your toddler loves to boogie to the radio, or do you and your DCs even make up your own songs? Perhaps there’s a song that gets everybody moving in your family and you can never get out of your head!

Pampers would also love to hear about the stories behind the song, for example, what made them meaningful in your family, and why you think your baby loves a particular song?

Share the songs that get your babies grooving on this thread, whether they are nursery rhymes, top ten hits or theme tunes from their favourite shows!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 Love2Shop voucher!

Thanks and good luck,

One two three for five for the older.
You are my sunshine for the younger.
I used to play Prince when I was pregnant and Elton John's Tiny Dancer.

Row, row, row a boat

naomicm · 11/03/2016 23:52

My eldest loved (and still does) Yellow by Coldplay she would literally headbang to it, no idea why it's not even remotely a headbanging song 😮

polosarethefoodofgods · 12/03/2016 00:02

My lb loves a CD with all the traditional nursery rhymes, but his absolute favourite is when I sing (badly) Brahms lullaby. When he was smaller I used to sing Parnell happy to him and he liked that too

cuddles159 · 12/03/2016 07:26

My eldest DS is 20 now and towards the end of my pregnancy Disco 2000 by Pulp was in the charts so was forever on the radio. My unborn DS used to go BONKERS in the womb whenever it came on! After his birth, he wriggled and waved his arms along to it. To this day whenever he hears it he says, "Ooh, my song!"

Wjjkl · 12/03/2016 17:41

Current favourite is the song about Harold Helicopter in one of his Thomas books. Also likes a song that was made up by his Daddy - not sure it's a chart topper..

melski1989 · 13/03/2016 12:55

DD LOVED Gwen Stefani's 'The Sweet Escape'! She'd stand in front of the TV whenever it came on and shake her little baby butt!

planepointer · 13/03/2016 13:29

Stevie Wonder's Superstition - excellent taste!

Ntinyn · 13/03/2016 13:39

It has to be the wheels on the bus!! Driving me absolutely nuts. I dread getting the bus now as she sings it sooooo loudly. 😳

RUTHGROVER · 13/03/2016 15:07

When my youngest son was a baby and a bit grizzly he loved "In the End" by Linkin Park. He would just suddenly stop crying and just be mesmerized!

DD - Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand
DS - Owl City - Fireflies

Thecatknowsshesboss · 13/03/2016 21:56

I always sang Rock a bye baby to DD when trying (desperately) to get her to nap - she didn't believe in naps. Now aged 6 she likes me singing it to her before bedtime and says she loves my singing it. I wince as my singing voice is terrible though!

Tean1 · 13/03/2016 22:19

Round and round the garden, like a teddy bear
One step, two step, and a tickle under there!

marylegs23 · 14/03/2016 15:51
