We’ve been asked by Pampers to find out which songs get your babies grooving.

Pampers says, "Here at Pampers we know that babies love to get their groove on without a saggy nappy getting in the way. That’s why NEW Pampers Active Fit have Magical Pods, absorbent channels that help to distribute wetness evenly, so they don’t sag and stay up to 2 times drier than the next leading brand. We’d love to hear what song gets your baby moving – let us know by commenting on the thread below. Plus you can try new Pampers Active Fit for free here.

So, do you have a traditional lullaby that your baby loves? Maybe your toddler loves to boogie to the radio, or do you and your DCs even make up your own songs? Perhaps there’s a song that gets everybody moving in your family and you can never get out of your head!

Pampers would also love to hear about the stories behind the song, for example, what made them meaningful in your family, and why you think your baby loves a particular song?

Share the songs that get your babies grooving on this thread, whether they are nursery rhymes, top ten hits or theme tunes from their favourite shows!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 Love2Shop voucher!

Thanks and good luck,

My youngest is 18 months and loves Roar by Katy Perry. The only words she knows in it are tiger and fire, so when she wants to hear it she 'tiger fire on please' it's the cutest thing and the song mesmerizes her

DC3 (2) Peter Rabbit has a fly upon his nose, if I'm singing. Jump around by House of Pain if there is bed jumping to be done!!

DC2 (7) like Row your boat. As he got older he's a fan of Deadmaus.

DC1 (22) always loved Guns n' Roses and Metallica-any song.

My son is loving the new Coldplay tune at the minute...I did too until he had played it a hundred times!
His favourite kids song is row, row, row your boat though :)

amigotia · 15/03/2016 20:24

My son, who is 11 now, would only settle to Maroon 5's, This Love, as a baby. I remember I got the CD for xmas, whist I was pregnant with him and practically listened to it everyday. With this being one of my fave songs, it was probably on repeat, a lot! He still loves it to this day.

chezvic · 15/03/2016 21:19

As a baby she loved Wind the Bobbin Up and loved doing the actions, now she'll bob along in the car to Little Mix

kimnews · 15/03/2016 21:30

The classics; Twinkle Twinkle, Baa Baa Black Sheep, and Humpty Dumpty.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

AuntieMaggie · 15/03/2016 21:55

When ds was tiny I started singing the wheels on the bus to him as it was the only song I could remember Blush one night when he was crying and it became the song that calmed him even after I started singing others... I sang it for three hours one very early morning!!! Even now at 20 months he loves it Smile.

I also used to sing 'yummy yummy yummy I got milk in my tummy' to him after a feed which made him giggle and he loved singing Taylor Swift 'Shake it off' in the car Grin

When he was little he would tell me to sing by putting his hand on my mouth.

At bedtime instead of a story I sing him a song before he goes to sleep.

ksouthcott · 15/03/2016 22:04

Row, Row, Row your boat

ILikeBigBumpsAndICannotLie · 15/03/2016 22:19

Mnah Mnah by the Muppets, known as nanadoodoo here.

SerenaVanDerWoodsen · 15/03/2016 22:35

It was twinkle twinkle. But currently I would probably say wheels on the bus, closely followed by wind the bobbin and happy birthday. My youngest has a keen ear for a tune and could 'sing' twinkle twinkle recognisably when she was 9 months
