We’ve been asked by Pampers to find out which songs get your babies grooving.

Pampers says, "Here at Pampers we know that babies love to get their groove on without a saggy nappy getting in the way. That’s why NEW Pampers Active Fit have Magical Pods, absorbent channels that help to distribute wetness evenly, so they don’t sag and stay up to 2 times drier than the next leading brand. We’d love to hear what song gets your baby moving – let us know by commenting on the thread below. Plus you can try new Pampers Active Fit for free here.

So, do you have a traditional lullaby that your baby loves? Maybe your toddler loves to boogie to the radio, or do you and your DCs even make up your own songs? Perhaps there’s a song that gets everybody moving in your family and you can never get out of your head!

Pampers would also love to hear about the stories behind the song, for example, what made them meaningful in your family, and why you think your baby loves a particular song?

Share the songs that get your babies grooving on this thread, whether they are nursery rhymes, top ten hits or theme tunes from their favourite shows!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 Love2Shop voucher!

Thanks and good luck,

You are the sunshine of my life - Stevie Wonder!

Shiraznowplease · 05/03/2016 21:17

My ds used to love the song '10 fat sausages sizzling in a pan', he used to chuckle so much on the bang part he would give himself hiccups

KarenCBC · 05/03/2016 21:57

I had a compilation tape called 'all aboard' that I loved I in the 80s. A couple of years ago I found an lp version in the charity shop that my dad managed to get on a cd for me. My 2 year old son now loves it. I have to play 'Robin Hood riding through the glen' over and over and over.

Round and Round the Garden was my baby's first favourite song, he used to giggle so much at the tickly under there part, even if you didn't tickle him. Aww bless.

We went to a baby group where I was introduced for the 1st time to "Wind the bobbin up." She LOVED it. I'd never heard it before and was totally bemused by what it was all about and why a baby would find it such fun... Actually, I'm still bemused all these years later!

It has to be the 'Wheels on the bus', as it allows wonderful actions, and many verses are possible but .................

Old MacDonald is also popular again with many verses of different animals and they enjoy the sounds to make

Peabody25 · 06/03/2016 11:30

My little boy's two, and one of his favourite songs has always been wind the bobbin up! he loves singing along now and doing all the actions.

The other one is the Thomas the tank engine theme tune! We always watch an episode of Thomas before bed, and it's random but I love just having the three of us all curled up on the sofa singing away to it, and getting requests to "sing mummy, sing!"

Never in a million years pre-children could I imagine things like that!

Jade5093 · 06/03/2016 12:41

I'm a gummy bear song - on YouTube. He lives it and tries to copy the just dance version of it!

Seeyounearertime · 06/03/2016 12:44

My Little One loves lots of music but her favourite is Disko Boy by Shantel.

happysouls · 06/03/2016 13:01

Ahh my son loved UB40 "Baby come back"! I think he was around the age of 2 but it used to get him dancing and attempting to sing!

birdling · 06/03/2016 13:02

Both of my children have fallen asleep to me singing California Dreaming to them. It seems a bit boring without the backing music, but perhaps that's why it works. My youngest currently also enjoys a good row your boat :-)

wrenfamily · 06/03/2016 14:53

row row row your boat and he likes to do the actions

cocochips · 06/03/2016 17:41

Twinkle twinkle little star....

hownottofuckup · 06/03/2016 21:33

Daddy finger, mummy finger, baby finger where are you... And on and on it goes! She can make that one song last nearly the whole day! Grin

callkiki · 06/03/2016 21:41

Our house by Madness as it's always playing in the car rides

fm201069 · 07/03/2016 07:56

bruno mars uptown funk

duckbilled · 07/03/2016 12:38

My toddler loves to join in singing don't cry by guns'n'roses to her baby sister. If the baby gets upset she says "sing roses now"!

manfalou · 07/03/2016 13:10

My eldest loves all music, he's a right little groover

BreconBeBuggered · 07/03/2016 13:32

DS1 loved Tiger Feet, by Mud. Can't even think how he first heard it, as he was born in the mid 90s. DS2's favourite was Razorlight's America, though his hearing of the lyrics was a bit sinister and he always sang 'Watching a murder'. Jolly little chap.

gggg1 · 07/03/2016 20:11

My 7 month old son loves Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, it always makes him smile. I think he must have heard me sing it with his older sister when I was pregnant with him.

fridaykitten · 07/03/2016 23:11

DS loves 'Ally Bally Bee' while bouncing on my knee - always giggles when i fly him up in the air at the 'make you jump' bit!

Pinktilgate · 07/03/2016 23:38

My little boys favourite song was LMFAO Sexy And I Know It! He was about 8 months when this was out and he just loved to dance!

TheToys · 08/03/2016 00:42

Row row row your boat.

rachelmi · 08/03/2016 19:30

My son loved 'The Wheels on the Bus ' and it drove me bonkers!!

SingingMyOwnSpecialSong · 08/03/2016 19:37

13-month-old DD loves Uptown Funk. We discovered when she was just a few months old that it cheered her up instantly, even in the middle of a total meltdown. She had terrible reflux and is often quite unsettled, Uptown Funk probably saved our sanity.
