To help celebrate the new Pregnancy Tracker app, sponsored by Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure - we'd love to hear all about your pregnancy cravings.

The new app guides you through pregnancy week by week, sharing expert info and the experiences of thousands of other women who've been through the same things at each stage.

We all know that pregnancy can make people do some rather strange things - and 90% of pregnant women will experience antenatal cravings. Some can't get enough of one specific food, while others find themselves creating flavour combinations they'd never have dreamed of pre-pregnancy.

From inhaling everything sweet in two seconds flat, to middle of the night munching, or the sudden urge to taste things that aren't even food - what did you crave while waiting for your baby to arrive?

Share your wacky and wonderful pregnancy cravings with us - and help make other pregnant women currently experiencing them feel a little better about their latest hormone-induced feast.

Anyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for the store of your choice PLUS a month's supply of Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure!

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Cheese & onion crisps.....loaded with vinegar haha

CK12232 · 22/02/2016 09:50

I don't really have any of my own to tell, but a few years ago I was working with a girl who was due to have a baby and all she craved was coal! I had a coal store at my house so had to bring in lumps of coal for her to lick

kaymondo · 22/02/2016 11:00

With my first it was snickers and with my second it was cheese.

This time it's the individual M&S strawberry trifles - and it has to the the M&S ones, others brands just don't cut it! This baby is apparently a trifle snob Blush

CAT FOOD!!! And I was vegetarian at the time

skyeskyeskye · 22/02/2016 13:16

when I was pregnant I had a real craving for coco pops and for wagon wheels. I never went anywhere without a stash of wagon wheels in my handbag!

Funnily enough, I went right off cheese when I was pregnant.

hiddenmichelle · 22/02/2016 13:16

lime cordial and nutella

nbano1 · 22/02/2016 13:17

Banana dipped in Nutella and rainbow sprinkles.. Mmmmmh

MAT12 · 22/02/2016 14:20

Mine with my daughter was either mashed Brussel sprouts or runner beans with gravy and brown sauce and now my daughter is a massive fan of mashed sprouts with gravy and brown sauce

Segga86 · 22/02/2016 14:27

I had cravings for pork pies and salad cream when I was pregnant with DS

cagsd · 22/02/2016 14:54

I never had any weird or wacky cravings with any of my pregnancies; in fact with my first two I never had any craving of any description! But with my third, I couldn't get enough of ripe, on-the-vine tomatoes! I would get through at least a pack a day - cost me an absolute fortune as they had to be those finest type ones that were really ripe and greenhouse! Luckily the craving only lasted a month or so, so I didn't bankrupt myself totally!

sallyhartley · 22/02/2016 14:55

With my first pregnancy, my local Holland and Barrett where selling home made 'Muesli Rock Cakes'. I couldnt get enough of them. I worked at a dental surgery and every lunch time would have to buy one !

wonkylegs · 22/02/2016 15:02

With my son I craved McDonald's strawberry milkshake, I'd never had it before but just somehow knew it's what I needed.
This pregnancy I'm craving jam doughnuts but as I have gestational diabetes I really can't have them and will have to wait FIL baby is out - can I celebrate the birth with a doughnut & a glass of bubbly?

PeaceLoveAndJaffaCakes · 22/02/2016 15:28

Salt and vinegar crisps and orange juice. Together Envy

Belmo · 22/02/2016 17:41

This time round it's been pineapples and, weirdly, Alpen (cheap muesli apparently won't do..)

gBean · 22/02/2016 17:53

Orange ice lollies. All day. Half the night. I'd literally wake up at 3am absolutely desperate for one (and have one)

Hopelass · 22/02/2016 18:54

Just downloaded the app as early pg with no. 2. I didn't have any cravings with dc1 which was disappointing because I really wanted to! Time will tell with this one Smile

kierschtorte · 22/02/2016 18:59

Throughout the early months I had such terrible sickness that some days all I could keep down was a few salt and vinegar crisps. I don't usually eat crisps but I lived off them for many weeks, babies turned out fine of course.

DontKillMyVibe · 22/02/2016 19:02

Food. Any food.

Can't. Stop. Eating. Blush

coughingbean · 22/02/2016 19:07

Dirt, like actual earth Blush
I would go into the garden and dig at the ground, the wash my hands and pick the bits of grit out of my nails with my teeth.
It was only a few months after birth I realised it was a craving! BlushBlush

Rcollins91 · 22/02/2016 19:08

Marmite on everything!!!

NotCitrus · 22/02/2016 19:11

I hadn't had one for years, but when I was about 4 months I had a fortnight of really craving a good cigar. Didn't have one, but was really glad when that passed!

Otherwise just chocolate milk, fish and fruit, and eggs. Which I lived on for the remaining time of both pregnancies!

kamaxtra · 22/02/2016 19:25

Tacos...a lot of tacos!

IonaAilidh11 · 22/02/2016 19:30

i would stop the drier half way and take out the the half wet half dry towels and sit and smell them, use comfort pure and the smell was my craving

mumsbe · 22/02/2016 19:42

Hi my craving was a raw onion whole but peeled thankfully and a tin of cold peas out of the tin.
Before I could even think about it the tin was empty.
The things I couldn't have were fizzy drinks chocolate or tea and coffe. On the upside I actually lost weight when I was pregnant.

asuwere · 22/02/2016 19:55

Slush! I had to buy myself a slush maker cup thing and had one every day (made from flavoured water so not unhealthy).

Also scampi fries with ds1 although I couldn't find them anywhere which was really frustrating! (Although probably a good thing as not so healthy!)
