I craved chips wrapped in Newspaper like they used to be back in the day! My poor husband was having to go and get me chips then wrap them in newspaper for me to enjoy! I have no idea if it was the different smell of the newspaper but thats what i wanted!!!

wjanice121 · 21/02/2016 10:19

Oranges. I eat about 10 a day.

jennybe1 · 21/02/2016 10:33

Pickled onion monster munch at the moment- I don't even like them normally!

sweir1 · 21/02/2016 10:35

Chocolate on everything (roast dinners, stir fry)!!

pattygr · 21/02/2016 10:37

When I was a child, my cat had kittens. We gave 2 to my married sister and 2 to a trusted family friend. There was 1 girl left nobody wanted. My dad took her to the pet shop to be sold. My mum kept worrying what would happen to her if no one bought her. We ended up going back to the pet shop and buying her back! She ended up being the centre of attention and a much loved pet!

During my pregnancy my sister and brother in law stayed with us as they were inbetween houses. My brother in law cooked the most amazing meals but I had EVENING sickness and really couldn't face food. I'd reheat whatever he cooked in the morning when I was really hungry so I ended up eating corned beef hash and lasagnes for my breakfast!

I had mars bar milkshakes and poured over dark red apple wedges that had been dipped in peanut butter with DS1 (when I'd finally stopped being sick!)

Ready Salted crisps dipped into tomato ketchup and vinegar with DS2.

Curry and chilli peppers with DS3, I used to sit in the cinema with a plastic cup full of jalapeño peppers to munch on.

DD it was honey and peanut butter on toast and gummy bears.

Waitrose trifle, I had terrible heartburn and everything tasted horrible. I remember crying on the phone to my cousin, as I spooned my way through a family trifle, that my baby would come out with a trifle addiction. He was a very healthy baby!

I spent every day throwing up and every night demanding my husband bought me chicken and sweetcorn soup from one particular chinese takeaway. I lived on the stuff for months.

nbaskers20 · 21/02/2016 11:48

Big Mac Sauce, I was obsessed with it for a sizeable portion of my pregnancy just couldn't get enough of it.

sminkysminky · 21/02/2016 11:52

A friend of mine had the weirdest cravings when she was carrying her first son.
She told me she used to eat soap, only Imperial Leather, chalk, only white, and pilchards with everything, including on pizza, with custard and to dunk in her tea!!
It makes me glad to be a man and to not have to go through all that strange stuff.
Funny thing is her son (now twenty two) to this day hates all kinds of fish.

kacky · 21/02/2016 11:55

My second child must have been born with a very weird sence of taste because I couldn't get enough of bounty chocolate bars thinly sliced and tomatoes on sliced white bread.

glennamy · 21/02/2016 11:57

Kippers, raw onion & mustard sandwiches :)

Ohwoolballs · 21/02/2016 11:59

I went through a salty stage when I was suffering with morning sickness (I think my body needed the salt to make the water I was drinking work?!) so I ate nothing but "party" packs of mini pork pies and salt and vinegar crisps. It only lasted a week but my DP thought it was hilarious! I was also crunching on ice lollies at 6am on the train platform as I couldn't even keep water down that early 😩 Got some great looks off the other commuters!

I also had a while of scoffing wotsits, but I could have done that before being pregnant....

5madthings · 21/02/2016 12:01

Oddly healthy cravings here, preg with Dc6 and eating celery, babycorn and radishes. Also water biscuits and pretzels.

amanda08 · 21/02/2016 12:03

Mcdonalds Chocolate Milkshake! And generally the craving kicked in at around 10.30pm lol. Much to his credit my hubby made many a late night run to get me one :)

rachelmi · 21/02/2016 12:05

I went totally OFF coffee but ONTO pickled anything!! Yuk now though

sm2012 · 21/02/2016 12:11

I just wanted salty things all the time! Crisps, lots of salt on chips, salted butter! Also loved juicy things like nectarines and strawberries :)

simone12345 · 21/02/2016 12:13

mine was apples and peanut butter just loved dipping pieces apple into the peanut butter yummy

HelenPlant · 21/02/2016 12:25

I always craved cotton wool! Not sure why....something about the texture, I think.

LeeR1985 · 21/02/2016 12:50

My partner went through a bad craving of pickled onions and cheese. She would sit there with a jar of pickled onions and a block of cheese and just eat away!

jomulan · 21/02/2016 13:06

I had cravings for banana and lemon curd sandwiches :)

nettymay · 21/02/2016 13:15

Raw Rhubarb - I was in the garden in the early hours searching under a metal bucket that covered it!
