If you've got a great recipe you knock up with a juicer, nutrition extractor or even an old-school blender then Lidl want to hear about it. Whether it's a vitamin-boosting smoothie, a cold-busting soup or even a nut butter, please share it on this thread

What creative recipes have you mastered with a blender or juicer? Maybe you have a genius recipe for filling your kids chock-full of vegetables or fruit, or you've worked out a way to use it to make something you'd normally have to pay loads more to buy in a shop? Do you use the chopper for making short work of rubs or marinades? Or maybe you use the crushed ice to whip up summer drinks and knockout cocktails. Whatever your surprising use of a blender or juicer is, Lidl then we'd love to know more.

Lidl want to hear about these recipes to celebrate their launch of their new Silvercrest Kitchen Tool Nutrition Mixier on 18th January for (£29.99 - hurry while stocks last Grin)

Everyone who posts a recipe on this thread will be entered into a prize draw where five MNers will each win a £50 Lidl voucher.

Thanks and best of luck,

MNHQ

My regular breakfast smoothie is half a banana, quarter of an avocado, small handful of frozen berries (eg raspberries or blueberries) one Tbs almond butter, a handful of spinach and half a tsp of spirulina (trust me, if you add more you will regret it!) and one cup of almond milk, all whizzed up till smooth. You can add a tsp of maple syrup if you like more sweetness.

Another substitute is to use coconut milk with a bit of water instead of the almond milk.

It tastes so lovely and you can feel it doing you good.
