To celebrate the re-launch of the Bassetts Vitamins range for all the family, they'd like to hear all about the things you like to do to have fun as a family.

Do check out our the video one of our bloggers made for them

Bassetts Vitamins say "we think family life is all about big puddles, big mud, big adventures, big tree-houses, big imaginations, big games, big days out, big messes, big noises and big fun - now we'd love to hear what fun times you and your family get up to which help you bond".

As the range includes vitamin products for all ages from 6 months, they'd love to hear from you, whatever age your DC are - whether they are teens or toddlers - what do you do to have fun as a family?

Add your comment to the thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for John Lewis.

Thanks and good luck.

We get the wellies on and go outside, there are plenty of nature reserves and parks around, and we always find little adventures to have :)

robyn297 · 01/11/2015 21:29

Rough housing and lots of tickling!

superhez · 01/11/2015 21:39

We like to bake (todays effort pictured) or play card games on rainy days and get out on our bikes when it's nicer.

We go on adventurous walks in the woods and the beach and have a treasure list of things to look for. For instance, types of birds, shells, trees etc.

VelvetGlove · 01/11/2015 22:01

We like to walk along the beach with the dog, enjoy a quiet picnic and go for 'mystery tours' in the car!

GrooveHeart · 01/11/2015 22:10

We love going for walks - today we've been to look for the Gruffalo in the woods - fun and good exercise.

Winter months we have Saturday night as family night ... We either play board games, watch a movie - with popcorn of course :) or complete a puzzle together.

Summer months is all about being outside, croquet or badminton on the grass, evening walks, beach days, camping exploring the local area and following walks (with the little yellow arrows to follow)

embabes7 · 01/11/2015 22:41

We just spend time together, even doing chores is a fun family event! we always eat together and we always put our son first :)

1MMarimoEasyYoga1 · 01/11/2015 22:42

We eat together and have a laugh

cluckyhen · 01/11/2015 22:50

We are quite outdoorsy so love to chuck the tent in the car and go off for a spot of camping. THat way we can go exploring, walking, climbing, nature trailing and enjoy evenings round our little fire playing cards.

baconbap · 01/11/2015 22:52

walks along the canal

Portabella24 · 01/11/2015 23:11

Earlier this year we got family membership of a gym and we try to do something active like swimming, doubles badminton or tennis as a family. Of course we still do the usual cinema, walks and even watching our local football team and I really value the time we spend as a family. My DS1 is 12 and DS2 is 10 and the time has flown by.

Blondie1982 · 01/11/2015 23:19

Bowling

mamof3boys · 01/11/2015 23:26

We take the dog for a walk as a blast of fresh air does us all good and it's something we can all do together. My boys love to take their scooters and race each other around the oark.

Lydia30 · 01/11/2015 23:31

Walking the dogs, geocaching, playing charades and monopoly. The list could go on and on

Themilseys · 01/11/2015 23:44

We are fortunate to live just 15 mins from the coast and we like nothing more to go for a walk and share a bag of chips watching the world go by.

angiem32 · 02/11/2015 00:05

We play board games on rainy days and also the Nintendo Wii which I think is perfect for all ages! We visit the park regularly with footballs to have a 'kick about' and spend time outside as a family! We also love to bake and will often spend a Sunday helping to prepare dinner and baking yummy treats like cupcakes, homemade ice cream and cheesecakes!

This used to be so easy when they were all young children, there was always a consensus of opinion amongst them as to where they wanted to go out to as a family, I think they used to discuss it in advance all the better to get us parents wrapped around their little fingers. It was usually a farm they wanted to go to, Pennywell farm or Paignton zoo, or somewhere else to do with animals and if they were happy and having fun then so were we adults. Now my two oldest have left home within a couple of months of each other and my youngest daughter who is 15 is the only one at home with us and its very difficult to bond and have fun, just organising so that we are all in the same place at the same time is nightmare enough. I do feel sorry for my youngest it must be very difficult for her to be the much younger (and therefore indulged by the other two) sister one minute and the centre of attention and then suddenly like an only child the next. I'd love to know if anyone who has been through a similar situation has any good tips.

Anything from making indoor tents to picnics, bike rides and of course doing the Daddy shuffle on a dancing game.

foxessocks · 02/11/2015 09:07

We love going for muddy walks and finding all the muddy puddles to jump in on the way. Then we find somewhere for hot chocolates and cookies and then somewhere else for a nice lunch. Especially like going to the coast for this and then get fish and chips too! A little nose in some gift shops to round the day off. It's all about muddy puddles for my 20 month old dd though!

sarah3875 · 02/11/2015 09:28

Although it's the laziest thing we do, Saturday night take away and telly is by far my favourite. It's so relaxing with no rush to get anywhere or sometimes it's completely crazy if we are jumping around the living room to some songs. x

marieawilcox · 02/11/2015 10:16

We like to go for Walks in the countryside or in the Lake District. We also enjoy baking and cooking at home.

lphillips25 · 02/11/2015 10:39

SIDNEY65 · 02/11/2015 10:52

We have a wrestle on the floor, that's always good fun
