To celebrate the re-launch of the Bassetts Vitamins range for all the family, they'd like to hear all about the things you like to do to have fun as a family.

Do check out our the video one of our bloggers made for them

Bassetts Vitamins say "we think family life is all about big puddles, big mud, big adventures, big tree-houses, big imaginations, big games, big days out, big messes, big noises and big fun - now we'd love to hear what fun times you and your family get up to which help you bond".

As the range includes vitamin products for all ages from 6 months, they'd love to hear from you, whatever age your DC are - whether they are teens or toddlers - what do you do to have fun as a family?

Add your comment to the thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for John Lewis.

Thanks and good luck.

Visiting a castle. The whole family loves a good castle. Luckily living in NE England we have loads to choose from!

campocaro · 25/10/2015 07:58

a beach day out is definitely our favourite- running and shouting at the waves, pootling around the rock pools and taking in the views of the sky and sea. Bringing home shells and stones for craft activities.

Maniacalparrot · 25/10/2015 10:35

museums ams crafting activities, weekends away exploring new places, trips to the beach and forest, lazy days at home in front of a favourite film snuggled up

serendipity1980 · 25/10/2015 11:07

we love to get out on our canal boat, go for day trips out to museums, woodlands, bake, have a film night with pizza and popcorn, play board games. Lot of fun things!

mynellie · 25/10/2015 14:56

build a tent in the frontroom from chairs and sheets and fill some bowls with popcorn and crisps and watch a good film from inside the tent even the dog gets in on the action

kaycm25 · 25/10/2015 15:40

We like playing board games and when its nice a walk or cycle in the park.

badgermum · 25/10/2015 17:52

We are lucky to live on the South coast so the beach features in many of our family activities, from regular summer days spent on the beach to windy winter beach walks and fossil hunting or rockpooling at the Jurrasic Coast. One popular winter activity is to collect washed up debris into a pile on the beach then make something from it last time it was a profile of Grandad complete with seaweed hair

SilverHoney · 25/10/2015 20:49

Trips to the beach in all (well most!) weathers - wrap up warm and take a kite if it's windy.
This weekend was pumpkin picking and carving.
Movie night with treats and goodies.
Anything and everything Christmas related!

saltedcaramelhotchoc · 25/10/2015 21:10

Our most relaxing time is when we are all colouring in together at the kitchen table, and chatting idly. It's really precious time.

Other treasured family activities are treasure hunts and trampoline challenges.

And then we all ignore each other for a while...

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 25/10/2015 23:25

Put on our wellies and go to the local cafe in a park. There's a small playground, duck pond and cafe and the best the of all( from DD's perspective) if a proper old fashioned 20p horse ride with jingly music.

alabaster002 · 26/10/2015 10:20

Anything outside - whatever the weather! Healthy, fun and character building in the rain, wind and snow! And - how any times has a boring walk been made special by a passing kingfisher, a resting fox or a feisty robin......

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/10/2015 14:13

We go exploring up on Dartmoor to see what we can find, this year's highlight was an adder! Hedgerow hunting for berries etc and tree hugging in the local woods.

Wjjkl · 26/10/2015 14:24

Favourite things to do: Playing with the cousins, stamping in puddles and collecting rocks, building (then destroying) sandcastles at the beach, riding on the miniature train that runs at a local garden centre.

We just being outdoors and having space to run - whatever the weather!

BathshebaDarkstone · 26/10/2015 16:26

Breakfast and supper in a cafe once a week.

MustBeThursday · 26/10/2015 19:44

19 month old DD, we like to go swimming and to soft play, sing songs, build towers, go out to a cafe, and seeing family

NotEnoughTime · 26/10/2015 20:30

I have two boys-one aged 13 and one aged 8 and I sometimes find it difficult to find something that they both enjoy doing.

However one thing they and we (me and my DH) all love doing is playing a game of chocolate Twister. We usually all end up in a mangled heap on the floor but at least we have the chocolate to ease our pain Grin

cookie09 · 26/10/2015 20:57

Walkies with our 2 poochies or a good family hour playing a computer game of my twins choice with sweets ans treats.

k8vincent · 26/10/2015 21:02

We seem to be following a strange tradition - started by DH and his brother - of attacking one another with pine cones / similar on a 'hunt' through the woods. We never go for walks - too much complaining - just adventures/hunts/tree climbing missions. TBH pine cones are the 'gentle' and more pleasant side of this family tradition. Dried cow pats are more common as we cross fields!

sealight123 · 26/10/2015 21:12

We love to build lots of lego creations, bake cakes and go on woodland adventure walks, looking for creepy crawlies!

sweir1 · 26/10/2015 22:25

We head to the zoo

jodiecrossley1 · 27/10/2015 09:54

We go for walks in the woods and countryside and have picnics and play games when the weather is warm enough!

winnie21 · 27/10/2015 13:18

We love to go walking and horse riding and we try and go away as much as we can where we're in the sea and the pool as much as possible.

nemno · 27/10/2015 14:07

We load the bikes onto the car and drive to parks, trails and routes that we've found online. When we lived in a big city we went to a new park every weekend until after a few months we'd decided on our favourites for regular visits.

FlukeSkyeRunner · 27/10/2015 15:15

Outdoor activities, going to the beach, out on bikes, going on the train, baking, painting, collecting things - conkers, shells etc - anything can be made fun.

sadiewoohoo · 27/10/2015 16:35

We have a themed party EVERY year with our extended family and all dress up and get involved with themed games and costumes. This year was my Dads 60th and he is Irish so we had Ireland for a theme. All the food was Irish themed, we all wore Irish costume ranging from a leprechaun to an Irish Dancer and even the games were Irish themed such as 'Pin the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow'. Other themes we have had include Mad Hatters Tea Party and Grease The Movie. Here are some pics from the Irish party :) This idea can be really cheap if everyone contributes a little amount and its certainly a lot of fun and something everyone can look forward to :)
