To celebrate the re-launch of the Bassetts Vitamins range for all the family, they'd like to hear all about the things you like to do to have fun as a family.

Do check out our the video one of our bloggers made for them

Bassetts Vitamins say "we think family life is all about big puddles, big mud, big adventures, big tree-houses, big imaginations, big games, big days out, big messes, big noises and big fun - now we'd love to hear what fun times you and your family get up to which help you bond".

As the range includes vitamin products for all ages from 6 months, they'd love to hear from you, whatever age your DC are - whether they are teens or toddlers - what do you do to have fun as a family?

Add your comment to the thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for John Lewis.

Thanks and good luck.

A walk in the woods with walkie talkies is always fun and the younger ones don't notice how far they've walked as they are busy playing.

On a Saturday morning, we have Family Brekkie
DP sets the table while DC & I head to the bakery & DC gets to pick what we're going to have. Smile

Go out for walks in the local woods, especially at this time of year

lucyrobinson · 01/11/2015 08:52

We like to go for bike rides and to the park. Also baking. x

cookinmummy · 01/11/2015 11:16

We love hiking with the dog up the glen or swimming if its really wet. Our latest craze is ice-skating - I think Daddy is finding this one the trickiest! x

carmelmari · 01/11/2015 12:25

love going to zoos or animal parks

cheryl100 · 01/11/2015 13:01

We love to have days out all over - particularly activities such as climbing walls and theme parks. My son really enjoys staying in hotels after days out! We do use lots of vouchers though that I find on the internet or tesco vouchers

balloon66 · 01/11/2015 13:02

we spend days at the local beaches or moors

cocochips · 01/11/2015 13:13

Baking in the morning, crafting in the afternoon and long walks in the evening!

LinnyBee · 01/11/2015 14:14

We love our family picnics... rain or shine we have at least one per week sometimes sheltering in the local park bandstand if the weather is bad, or if we are lucky and there's lots of sunshine we go to the canal and watch the all the boats pass (the kids love to wave, and most people are very friendly).

laurapotz · 01/11/2015 14:15

We like to go out on daytrips to places where my 2 year old can have a good run around, like castles and other outsode space.

aussiegeckogirl · 01/11/2015 14:30

fill a basket full of food and drink, then head out wherever the mood takes us for the day

emmav6 · 01/11/2015 15:50

nature walks in the woods or baking at home on rainy days

darlingred · 01/11/2015 15:59

We love spending time at the beach; collecting shells, building sandcastles, climbing rocks and splashing in the sea. We take our buckets and spades, wellies, diggers and a picnic.

suzyq50 · 01/11/2015 17:55

We try & get outdoors most weekends, either the coast or the forest. It's free & healthy for starters. Sometimes we do go on nature trails at our local stately homes & I keep meaning to join the National Trust but the membership fee does put me off.

In the evening at the weekend we do have a movie night & takeaway. We've subscribed to Netflix which is proving a hit with us adults & children.

alison991 · 01/11/2015 18:11

Day trips out exploring with picnics

PhilTB54 · 01/11/2015 18:45

Baking cakes , messier the better , Watching Frozen again & again & again etc. Park often as possible even when it's chucking it down . Oh what joy.

rugby76 · 01/11/2015 19:38

We love to go off cycling as a family, visiting places of interest. Castles are our favourites at the moment.

worriedmum46 · 01/11/2015 19:52

We like to be quite active so swimming, ice skating and bowling are regular activities as are trips to the park with bikes and scooters and the compulsory football!

sairzz · 01/11/2015 20:06

We go geocaching, great excersize and lots of fun

snare · 01/11/2015 20:20

bike rides :)

matphil · 01/11/2015 20:28

If it's raining we like to make things, such as playdough, biscuits, cakes or craft things like painting.
If it's a day we can get out we like to go to parks, go for walks, have picnics, visit the beach, play football or go for a ride on bikes.

mshell1231 · 01/11/2015 20:34

We have an annual pass for our local zoo so we like to visit there whenever we get the chance. We also like to go on walks and spend evenings together watching films.

danikagrace · 01/11/2015 20:53

explore the countryside, make dens, climb trees, and jump in puddles

Gill81uk · 01/11/2015 21:16

Our favourite family activity is geocaching. My husband and I have always loved going for nice walks in beautiful places but the kids found it dull if there was no park. This suits us all perfectly as they love the thrill of finding the "treasure" and it's amazing how far they will walk with no complaints! Helps us all to get exercise and enjoy the great outdoors.
